Warrior Wolves #2
Wolf Fire
Warrior Jaemus McAlator will never forgive his selfish brother for turning him into a werewolf. He was quite happy being a man—one who had known great success in battle and enjoyed the glory that came with his victories. Now his own anger and that of a Celtic goddess have ripped him from the life he knew in Ireland only to dump him first on a desolate tropical island and then, even worse, on his brother’s damn doorstep. His brother wants forgiveness. Jaemus just wants a normal life again, but is that possible with fangs and fur? Maple Ridge Trading Post owner Nika Skarvinski is in trouble. Her father’s shop in the woods of Canville, Vermont had always been a tourist hotspot. Until her father died. Now she struggles to keep it—and the memory of her father—afloat while businessman Robert Senclair pesters her to sell the land to him. He also wants her to be Mrs. Robert Senclair. Nika doesn’t want to do either, but when the one thing bringing in money at the post—The Wolfman Show—loses its star, her only choice might be to accept defeat. But no one likes to surrender. Can Jaemus make life as a werewolf work? Is forgiving his brother possible? Can Nika keep her trading post away from Robert? Will she lose her father’s memory? Maybe if a wolf fire burns bright enough, they’ll both be saved. Warrior Wolves Series Wolf Kiss, Book One Wolf Fire, Book Two

She finds joy in listening to the wind, bathing in moonlight, and breathing in the fragrances of things that bloom. If she had her way, the sky would be the only roof over her head.
Her love of nature seeps into every story she tells. As does her obsession with bearded mountain men who build, often smell like sawdust, and know how to cherish the women they love. Today she writes tales meant to make you laugh, maybe make you sweat, and definitely make you believe in the power of love.
She lives in Vermont with her husband and cat who defend her fiercely from all evils.

I borrowed Wolf Fire from the Kindle Unlimited Program.
Maple Ridge Trading Post owner Nika Skarvinski wakes up each day facing a bundle of troubles; she is failing at keeping her father's hand built trading post in the black; she faces an evil man interested in purchasing the property for a Sprinkles Donuts Shop; the same evil man is spreading rumors that she is going to marry him ~ Ugh! Her latest problem comes when the guy that acts the part of the Wolfman is arrested for dealing drugs so she is facing loosing the Wolfman Show that draws most of her customers.
Jaemus McAlator, ex-warrior and recently turned werewolf by his brother when it was the last thing he wanted is looking for work when he comes upon The Wolfman Show and takes over the performance to a thrilled owner and audience. Jaemus has found his job and a place to live and hopes he can learn to live with the Wolf Fire that burns inside him and that distance will allow him to find forgiveness for his brother turning him against his will.
Add a little magic, an evil man bent on causing damage, a wolf sanctuary full of accepting wolves, secrets and revelations, a fire, a fight, a showdown (twice) making Wolf Fire a good paranormal romance.

Wolves!
Jaemus, warrior turned werewolf, banished from his beloved Ireland, finds himself in present day Vermont. Furious at his brother, Jaemus is ready to give up. Nika is trying really hard to keep her father's trading post from bankruptcy. She is desperate to keep his Wolfman show going. When her wolfman quits she is ready to give up. Until Jaemus arrives and changes her life!
I loved Jaemus and Nika!! Their chemistry was incredible and their connection strong. I was so happy to see more from Brandy, Reardon and Dylan too. This is the second in the series but can be read on its own. Loved it!!

This is the second book in the series and picks up from where the first book finished except we are now following a different couples pov although the characters we met in the first book are still in the book as secondary characters which I enjoyed. I found this to to be a quick fun read and I plan to continue with this series

Likeable characters and a decent story. Bit much sex for my tastes but far from porn with plot status.

Strange. He couldn’t be farther from his regular life. He hadn’t held a sword in weeks. He hadn’t let loose any battle cries, set fire to the bodies of the fallen, counted his acquired riches. The only blood he’d spilled recently had been his own. He wasn’t accustomed to this place or this time and yet, a sense of belonging washed over him in that barn. An unseen, unexplainable force pulled at him, drew him in, made him want to make this barn into something he could call home.

Good second part
This one was a good second book in a series, following Jameus who is Reardons brother and someone that was changed against his will.
The story this time doesn’t focus too much on the wolves but instead the half-man - half-wolf part the man can transform into. It also offers a little suspense action on the side which is different to the first book. I enjoyed getting a different look into the lore.
I enjoyed Jameus and Nika as characters and their insta-love story is cute. I did feel this was a little more rushed as a plot but it was definitely interesting and kept me hooked.
