HIS WHOLE WORLD IS ON FIRE...

Over the course of his career, disavowed Navy SEAL, Jackson Elliott, has stared down plenty of demons, but never one hellbent on torching an entire town. The sleepy burg of Black Water, Louisiana is under siege when their mayor enlists Trident, Inc for help. But Jackson's expertise is close-quarter combat. He's never battled a fire-breathing ghost.

When an entirely different heat builds between Jackson and the sexy mayor, the danger intensifies. The arsonist is no longer satisfied burning buildings and parked cars. People are his--or her--new obsession. As the body count rises, it becomes devastatingly clear that Jackson and the mayor are next on the killer's sick agenda. Will Jackson stop the pyromaniac or is this hot new couple destined to die?

SEAL Team: Disavowed

To become a United States Navy SEAL, a man must be physically forged in steel and able to mentally compute life or death situations with laser accuracy and speed. Our country trusts these men with the most sensitive military operations—many so covert that once they are successfully completed, they are never spoken of again.

This series celebrates one particularly fierce band of brothers who valiantly battled terrorists whose crimes against nature and humanity were far too great to chance escape. On a dark night, on foreign soil, SEAL Team Alpha witnessed acts so unspeakably cruel against women, infants and small children that their consciences would not allow anything other than their own brand of justice for the scum terrorist cell.

A trial would have been too good for these pigs, and so, one-by-one they were taken out, and the women and children they’d used were freed. By dawn, an entire region breathed easier. The men of Alpha found themselves heroes to those whose lives they had saved, but virtual criminals in the eyes of the organization they served. After a lengthy investigation, their elite, covert team was formally disbanded.

They now spend their lives deep undercover, still serving—no longer their country, but individuals who find themselves in need of not only their own personal warrior but a particular brand of justice.

While honorably discharged, these men and their actions will forever be disavowed . . .

SEAL Team: Disavowed Series Book Seven
Jackson Elliott has come to help one of Harding's friends. The daughter is having some issues with an arsonist. It ends up being a bigger job than he thought. Some people in the area believed in ghosts...Jackson was starting to wonder how far off the idea was.

Miranda couldn't imagine what was happening to their small, but thriving town. Her bar had been burned down a year ago and just reopened. Business was booming—then the arsonist struck again. Thankfully she has an ex-SEAL here to help.

Just when things seemed to be getting better...they get worse. Much worse. The author did a fantastic job of keeping the villain's identity from being guessed too easily, for me anyways. And any villain that uses nasty, creepy snakes is extra evil in my book!

Jackson and Miranda

This book may not have many pages but it is fantastic! It’s super suspenseful, action packed and steamy. Jackson Elliott is in South Louisiana help the beautiful mayor/bar owner/wedding venue owner, Miranda Wilson. There have been fires and damage to her own property and others in the last year and they need answers. There are car explosions, fires, bombs, a peeping Tom, snakes…lots of snakes and romance. This is the last book in this series and I’ve loved reading each one.

Miranda and Jackson

Jackson is the only single member of the disavowed SEAL team. He's sent investigate an arson and other crimes happening around Miranda the town mayor. As their relationship heats up so do the threats to her life. It's a race to find her enemy before she's silenced for good. This book also sets up the next series set in Alaska.

Quick Read

Not sure why I made it to the end of this series but here we are. These could have been fantastic stories. They were okay with a side of oohhh so much potential. But ultimately, it’s dreams of champagne on a beer budget, there’s distinct lack of research, lost details, and generally sloppy writing

Anyone with a phobia of snakes wouldn’t be able to read this book. It gave me the heebie jeebies. Again too short, flawed character development but some great story lines.
