I Will Survive

Rate this book
A sassy, sexy revenge comedy about finding out who your true friends are...and who your true self is.

Poor Ellen. Her boyfriend is cheating on her ... with her best friend. Her other (male) best friend is in love with her when he really shouldn't be. Her beauty queen sister is on a rampage. And her mom is having an affair with one of her teachers. At first, Ellen wants to climb into bed and never get out again. Then she decides she's not going to take this all lying down. She's out for revenge -- a very comic revenge, with some very unintended consequences.
This is Fay Weldon for teens -- a fun, sassy look at making it through high school with your heart in one piece.

Just doesn't hit the same as it did when I was like 15.

This book had a lot of things that i like to read. Someone can really relate to how this girl feels throughout this book. She goes through a really tough time with her ex and her best friend getting together. It was a really good book, but i think it would be kinda too easy to read.

Utter disappointment. I felt like I was reading a book for an 8 year old. It lacked Kristen Kemp's sarcasm and humor. Silly and really not emotionally invoking, I only finished it to get it out of the way.

The best story of revenge and getting even ever. plus a little humnility in the end, but the ideas this girl comes up with to mess with people are ingenius and partially disasterous.
