This book is scary—because I thought I knew (and practiced) all of the author "I can't, no, it won't work, nope, not today, if only ..." excuses. But no, Linda introduced some I hadn't even considered, and must add to my repertoire. But the truly scary thing is that the book provides practical and even wholly achievable counsel on trashing those excuses and getting to that writing.
Lots of good tips on small steps to bigger accomplishments and very clear advice on the importance of mindset in doing this writing voodoo. And lots of smiles in the book too.
This book spoke volumes to me. It helped me recognize my own fears and excuses. I really liked the tips and suggestions on how to “bust those excuses.”
Thank you, ladies, for your honesty in showing even great writers still have these feelings.
