As a more advanced Minecraft player I felt confident that this would be a review. And it was- for gardens and animals. But, I never thought of "farming" the hostile mobs! What a great idea! Most of it is too time consuming to build for me (easier to just go out at night to do your thing), but I will definitely look into farming witches (they drop amazing loot!) and some of the mobs that are in the Nether (as the books' system looks as safe as you can make it in such a difficult world!)
++ Good elements: reasons for farming, types of resources that can be farmed, efficient farm layouts, (fully) automated farms. -- Elements are not consistenly applied. For each farm, only a few of the elements above is present.
A must-have for any Minecraft-infested household, with interesting trivia straight from Mojang, neat automatic farming examples, and speed-growing tips that I wouldn't have figured out myself!
Introduced several concept of a farm, from crops to blocks to different mobs. It even shows you how to make some semi/automatic farms using villagers, red stone, and other means. Would recommend this book for those who are just starting out and wanting to learn more about different kinds of farming in the game.
Good book with lots of info. Need to have one to keep as it will be hard to remember all the different farm layouts. Some were hard to understand just how they are set up but it may be because I am not extremely experienced.
