Not great, but the best intro to global health text that I have found. I think my disappointment comes from the lack of controversy or advocacy that I found discussed, but I guess for it's purpose it's probably great. I just ended up supplementing. For the students the benefits are that it is quite easy to read and much cheaper than other options.

A requirement for my Introduction to Global Health class. I enjoyed most of the readings but sometimes the charts and data tables didn't seem clear/were hard to read.
