Sam Styles is having a horrible holiday season. He’s just found out he’s pregnant, and his alpha has bolted, leaving him stranded. Sam hides his pregnancy because a pregnant omega without an alpha isn’t popular in his omega/alpha society.
Graham Peters is an alpha who is fifteen years older than Sam. While Graham doesn’t realize Sam is pregnant, something about the younger omega tugs at his heart. He wants to help the down on his luck omega.
The two men grow close when Graham opens his home to Sam. But Sam is guarded and afraid of what might happen if Graham discovers he’s is pregnant with another alpha’s baby.
This is a 28,000 word Christmas Mpreg story with a guaranteed HEA.

I loved the idea behind this one, but the execution was rough.
No, not the technical aspects (though there were a couple of random commas); it just felt so...angry - all of their conversations seemed to have a defensive edge for some reason.
Sam being wary, afraid and suspicious I get, as do I understand Grahams reluctance to get close given his history and what he feels is a huge age-gap. But their arguments and disagreements were OTT dramatic over the pettiest of things. And I don't even know how to express my disappointment with that kinda rapey sex scene. Graham is clearly inebriated, has said NO to Sam often - and I don't care if he really wants to, it felt icky. (Imagine this was an MF romance...yeah, see. It doesn't make it okay just because it's two guys.) Also slightly shady? Sam not telling Graham about being pregnant first. Kudos to him for not trying to pull a fast one since he's not far along, but man, did he have to also point out that he could have done that and chose not to? Way to put the suspicion in both the reader's and Graham's head.
About the only blow-up I felt was sort of appropriate (but then again not really) was Graham being angry that Sam was still in the survival mindset, that he worked extra hours and kept saving money "just in case." Graham saw it as not being fully invested in them, as having an escape plan because he didn't trust Graham. But to anyone that's ever found themselves without resources (as Sam did at the beginning of the book, depending on the kindness of a relative stranger) then this is a perfectly valid fear. Again, OTT as hell, and a heart-felt and less angry, less accusatory conversation would have done wonders to smooth over all the...the anger expressed up til this point. And would have put it up to 3.5 Stars.
AND THEN...we get that hospital scene. Really? Really?? Was that whole bit of drama necessary? It felt like ramping up the intensity (after some relatively sweet romance) for no reason. So it went from almost 3 stars to barely 2.5.
Just...gah.
I was telling myself earlier that this streak of surprisingly good books has been a wonderful treat. And then I go and jinx myself. Figures.
Aww..this is so adorable and heartwarming. The kind of Alpha - Omega I always craved for, with a little 'problem' in the middle. just enough portion for one sweet holiday story. I won't bore you with a story line, just read the book and you'll meet Sam and Graham. I think they're right for each other right from the start. Add one pregnancy stress to the picture, one lousy ex, and a baby. Just a perfect story for MPreg lovers! Just the right story for a fun Christmas holiday.
Through no one's fault but my own, based on the cover I spent a good third of the book thinking it was the same series/world as the Bodyguards and Babies stories and wondering why everything seemed off.
After correcting my mistake, this turned out to be a sweet, holiday themed hurt-comfort alpha/omega romance with an age gap, an evil ex and a pregnancy kept secret storyline.
This is exactly the type of story I love reading about. A strong independent Omega facing adversity on many fronts, and how He overcomes the various challenges that keep cropping up. For the Omega this started as a an adventure after leaving his dull small town with his "boyfriend" or at least the guy he was sleeping with, who had the car and was driving them. But it got old soon. Stopping, finding odd jobs, and sleeping in the lowest rate motels, in order to pay for their ultimate trip destination - California.
But it seemed only one carried more than his share of the financial burden, being responsible, loosing his sense of adventure, arguing more - until the big dust up when the pregnancy stick turned blue. And his "boyfriend" said "Adios!" So much for taking responsibility. Well at least he paid the motel bill up for the month before he'd split.
Unfortunately this also meant his ride to and from work was no longer available, which meant getting the bus in the cold weather without a proper jacket, or worse missing the last bus after his shift at the diner and having to walk all the way to the motel.
Through a series of catastrophic circumstances the Omega ended up being the guest of a regular diner patron. A quiet introspective man - an Alpha. A very observant former cop. They each were missing something essential in their lives - until they found each other. But would a big secret tear them apart?
This book is a must for mpreg lovers, even though it is ultimately a Christmas story, the majority of the story is pre-Christmas. I've always enjoyed mpreg stories where the Alpha has to decide if he can accept another Alpha's child. This is a great example of one of those stories.
I loved this sweet Christmas story! It is beautifully written, the characters are very engaging and I could not put it down. Sam is trying to get to California to start a new life but his boyfriend leaves him behind once he finds out Sam is pregnant. Sam has a job at the local diner but it's not until Graham, a regular at the diner and an ex-cop, takes him home that he feels safe. Graham is happy to have Sam living in his spare room but he is fighting their attraction because he is 15 years older than Sam and he doesn't want to be with Sam if all he feels is gratitude. Sam is falling for Graham but he is scared to tell him about his pregnancy. They will have to trust each other if they want to have a relationship. The ending is perfect and I can't wait to read more books by S.C. Wynne. I was given an ARC to review by the author.
What a sweet holiday story. And of course I'm happy because it's an alpha/omega. I really enjoy S.C. Wynne’s books and was not disappointed with this one.
Sweet little omega Sam has had just about all the bad luck he can handle. His missed the last bus to get him home, or to his crappy little motel room. But at least it was something. He just wishes he could get to it, but in the bad snowstorm it's too cold to walk. And his so called boyfriend just dumped him because he got pregnant. He was all alone. Until a regular customer takes pity on him and offers him a ride home. Only to find all his stuff has been packed and sitting outside the door. Homeless, pregnant, cold, broke, and barely hanging on, Sam has had enough. But Graham, the regular customer, can't just leave him there. Something about Sam calls to him and he feels like he needs to take care of him. He packs Sam up and takes him home. Over the weeks, Graham is really enjoying Sam being there. It's not quite so lonely anymore and he is really beginning to feel something. Sam feels the same attraction, but has yet to mention his pregnancy. He is so scared Graham will tell him to go, and he really doesn't want to leave anymore. He wants to stay and have a life with Graham. But not knowing how Graham will react to another man’s baby is leaving him so frightened.
Like any omega, Sam just got to my heart. I don't know what it is, but omegas always call to me. They have such a strength despite the hardships they endure. They always seem so vulnerable and I can't help but want to just take them and wrap them up in so much care and protection. Sam was no different. He just cannot seem to catch a break. And because of how his family is, he is so scared he won't be a good father. But the thought of terminating the baby just isn't possible to him. When Graham comes along to his aid, he stays so closed off. He's afraid to trust, even though he is so attracted to Graham and his alpha is calling to Sam’s omega. And I love how brave Graham is too. Having gone through a traumatic event himself, he doesn't want to open himself up to another partner, but something about Sam draws him. These two want each other so much and have to learn to let go and allow themselves to take a chance. But it's hard. And learning to trust is a big deal. With a little hope and a touch of bourbon and some mistletoe, things seem to change for the better and they learn to make a family of their own. And I couldn't be happier.
Two downtrodden men find comfort and safety in one another. They were there in the background but one offer of a ride brought them to the forefront. Sam is an unlucky omega. Unlucky enough to have gotten involved with a wastrel, to have fallen pregnant, and to come home to his stuff packed up on the stoop and nowhere to go and no money on a frigid, snowy night. Graham is a sad, lonely alpha who surprises himself by offering Sam a ride. And a place to stay. And forever. Neither one of them begin in a place where they are looking for help or companionship but it doesn't matter what they were or weren't looking for because fate had something different in mind. In Graham Sam finds safety, desire, trust, companionship, love, and hope. In Sam Graham finds attraction, affection, someone to protect, love, and healing. I liked both of these men and found them both to be interesting.
There isn't a lot of background and we get some basics. Sam's past and present drive him to push people away and Graham's past does the same. Both live life with self-preservation in mind. The complication of the pregnancy is valid and I think Sam handled it pretty well. His honesty came a bit later but it wasn't something that got revealed before he was ready and could then own the situation. Graham's reaction was honest. It would have been pure fantasy for him to not feel any twinge of jealousy at all and he owned it and was honest about his feelings. Because of that I respected them and the story felt believable. I liked it quite a lot. 3.5 stars.
Read and willingly reviewed this ARC for the author.
Mistletoe Omega by S. C. Wynne is a short story that will warm your heart. Sam is a young omega wolf, pregnant and all alone in the world, now that his boyfriend has left him, and is having a very rough time. Graham is an alpha wolf with a kind soul and a generous heart, but he is so lonely. Thanks to a missed bus, they find each other. Will Sam be mature enough to let go of his pride and accept first Graham help and then love? Will Graham overcome his fear of being too old for Sam? Read and find out!
I was given a copy of Mistletoe Omega in exchange of an honest review. I’d like to thank S. C. Wynne for the opportunity and for writing it. What I liked about this short novel is that it is narrated from both Sam and Graham point of view. I would have loved to see both wolves shift and have a romantic run into the woods under the moonlight, a partial shift (eyes, claws) during the sex scene and a mating ceremony with a bite to seal their love. This way, the wolf theme would have sounded more authentic as it now seems it is simply the reason that justifies the male pregnancy. That said, I would still recommend reading Mistletoe Omega because it’s very nice and will give you the warm feeling we all look for in the holiday season. :)
What a great way to spend Christmas night. Curled up with Sam and Graham.
I felt really bad for Sam but Tim was such a jerk, there's no doubt that both him and the baby were better off without him. He needed a stand-up guy like Graham. I liked that Graham didn't push. He was there for Sam without making him feel bad about having to rely on him. I really liked the slow building of their friendship with the subtle strengthening of feelings.
Loved and laughed when Graham got jealous and startled drinking. But kudos to Sam for going into his room. Yum!
These two were really good together and I'm glad that Graham broke the alpha stereotype to accept Sam's child as his own. Definitely a feel good Christmas story!
This one was pretty cute and pretty short and a nice fluffy read-perfect for december. I found it to be an enjoyable story even though there wasn't anything in it that wowed me or that made me in a rush to finish it, but I found it pretty easy to get through. I felt engaged in the characters enough to want to know what happened but I didn't feel in a hurry if that makes sense. There are just those page turners where you need to know what happened right now or you won't be able to sleep, but I didn't feel it with this one but there aren't that many christmas romance books I feel that way about because they are meant to be unrealistuc and predictable. But it was an omegaverse book so I feel it's pretty typical for most of them not to have a huge indept story to them with much angst. There was a bit of drama though with one main Povs keeping a secret from the other that may just end their relationship forever if the other one finds out. I felt it was pretty dragged out though and it's like just tell him already! It was pretty much the whole love at first sight type of story, but you may know that already if you've read omegaverse books before. Most of them are that way with the whole fated mate tropes, but sometimes you need a fluffy read with a guaranteed cheesy hallmark ending that doesn't require a whole lot of thinking when reading it.If you are looking for a christmas MM that is fluffy, sweet and quick with an Hea then this is the book for you!
A sweet Christmas story. I liked both Sam and Graham, they're both broken in their own way, and are perfect together. Both are cagey at the beginning. Sam has never before felt safe, and Graham is afraid to love again.
No spoilers, but what follows is a slow burn love story, with a little extra (I won't tell you what that little extra is). I liked that Graham wouldn't rush into the relationship, giving Sam a chance to think about what he actually wanted. The ending was perfect. if you like Ms Wynne's past books, you'll love this one.
This is a cute story. Sam finds himself pregnant, homeless, and deserted by the alpha he was with. When Sam happens to be in the diner when regular customer Graham comes in and offers him a ride, which turns out to be beginning of something deeper.
Sam has been through a lot in his life. When Graham offers him a place to stay with no strings attached, Sam is unsure why he would. As they get to know each other, I love how Sam comes out of his shell and learns to trust Graham.
A Sweet holiday book the writing was great. It’s a short book but very enjoyable. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters captivating. The characters were developed and thought out. Graham is an alpha and Sam are the MC’s of this book. I liked both of characters, especially how kind Graham is. There was humor, a diner, an accidental pregnancy, an abandoning ex, an ex-cop, remodeling, Christmas and so much more in this book. which I can highly recommend. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
This is a short & very sweet Christmas story of Sam & Graham. Love the slow burn of their relationship. Sam, just finding out he's pregnant, dumped by his alpha & homeless, takes a chance and accepts a place to stay for a few days from a quiet alpha. Graham, living with the loss of his omega, feels something towards Sam, but he thinks the younger omega would be better off with someone his own age. A little moment of angst, but these two realize that what they found in each other is what they have been waiting for all their lives. Definitely will be on the re read list.
Omega Sam truly finds love with Alpha Graham after his boyfriend left him homeless and pregnant. Graham has a tragic past with love for his past boyfriend and has tried to stay positive all these years and has done a great job of it.
Sam is wary of how kind that Graham is but eventually believe him that he'll never leave Sam even when Sam tells him about the baby.
This is the perfect holiday story that puts a smile on your face. Sam is an omega that seems to keep getting shoved down but refusing to give up. Now, he's stranded with no place to live, no vehicle, and pregnant. Graham is someone that comes into the diner and can't stop from offering Sam help. There is small drama that adds just enough spice to the story to keep it moving.
Let me start by saying... I loved this cover! Of course, I love any cover with a cute guy and a baby on it! *grin*
I enjoyed the story and liked the characters... but the cover was my favorite part! ;p
I really have a pet peeve about asshole ex's... and this story came with one that needed a swift kick in the rear... he got off way to lightly! IMHO!!!
Peccato
Loved this story! Hurt/ comfort is one of my favorite tropes. Add in mpreg and I’m in heaven. There’s really only a teeny, tiny bit of angst here. Both Sam and Graham touched me in their own ways. They are both so vulnerable and trying to hide it. Such a sweet read, I truly enjoyed it.
I loved it. A story of adversity being overcome with love, what's not to love.... The characters are really well thought out and the story line is as well. I wonder what else is in store for these characters, if this is to continue....
This story about Sam and Graham was perfect because they didn’t fall into bed. They learned to like each other first and it was the slow build up that made the end just absolutely perfect! This is a great Christmas read!
I loved this sweet Christmas story. Sam and Graham are two broken people who find just what they didn't know they needed with each other. Add in a baby and it is perfect! A great short read!
