Another fantastic book by Bella Forrest. This is the 4th installment of the Girl Who Dared series. This storyline is phenomenal and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Poor Liana is still trying to get herself out of a sticky situation and will she succeed? This book has so much action that you won’t be able to put it down. I don’t know how Bella can write all these fantastic books, but she does. She never disappoints. Will Liana get out of trouble? Will Grey finally recover? Will Leo get his own life? And let’s not forget Lacey, poor Lacey. So many questions and only Bella can answer them. As with all of Bella’s books, you go through all the emotions. I found myself crying at points and stressed in others. It’s a crazy emotional rollercoaster ride. There’s so much I want to say but I would be giving away spoilers. If you’ve read the first three books, then you must read this one. I promise you, you won’t be able to put it down. Like I said, Bella never disappoints.
As always, Bella’s books are fast paced and an adventurous read. I found myself frustrated with Liana some (always with the 900 questions all at once) and really wanting Grey back. Please?! Pretty please?!
I really enjoy this series but this was not my favorite book to date. I found myself wanting more from the story. It could be that I have read every one of her books but I also found the twists in this one to be predictable. Even her mom’s “death.” While still a little suspicious, I do hope she is still alive.
With all that said, Bella’s worlds are addictive and I absolutely want to know what happens next!

Wow!!! So amazing! I never expect anything less from Bella Forrest. You will NEVER be disappointed with one of her books. There is just so much excitement and suspense and love. Her books bounce all over the board, and turn out AMAZING! You would think with there always being new characters and plots that it would get to be too much for you, but in reality you cant get enough! It leaves you with wanting more!!! If you havent read this series yet i would definitely give it a go or better yet ANY of her series!!!
So I struggled with this book a bit more than the other three. So much has happened so quickly. Liana has gone from an immature 20 year old who had no idea about anything to this kickass leader in such a short time. And there are so many subplots going on that it’s hard to figure out which storyline to focus on. I’ll probably try the 5th book but I hope Bella Forest ties off some of the lose ends so we can focus on the good stuff.
I like this series but not this book as much. Everything was over explained and the same phrase were used repeatedly. I got tired of reading all the analysis and wish things would just happen. And there was about zero mention of rankings, which was kinda what this whole thing was about? And the ending doesn’t make sense to me...but obviously I’m going to keep reading the series
OMG! This book kept you guessing what was going to happen , I love it the ups and downs where perfect, and of course it made me cry. I can not wait to read the next book #5. January 31st hurry and get here I need the next book like now!
This book is filled with action from the very beginning. Like her last series this book is right in the middle so you have good character and story building. Plenty to keep you reading from beginning to end. Looking forward to the next book coming out.
The main character doesn't seem to grow or mature from her many harrowing experiences -- she continues to be an insecure, self-doubting individual even though she is a successful leader of her group.
I have binge read every book in this series and I cannot get enough. These are amazing reads with such talented reading that one feels like they are in the tower!
More like 3.5 I actually find this series to be annoyingly full of every reused YA dystopian trope, while at the same time being just good enough to keep me reading. So yeah I'll be back in the tower with Liana and her amazingly superhero-like band of misfits at the end of the month when book five comes out and I am guessing there will be at least two more so I'm in for the long haul.
If you loved the Divergent series you will love The Girl Who Dared .... , a spin off from another series called The Gender Game. I can't wait to read what happens next
Great book, the story flowed so much that I didn't realise how long I'd been reading until the kids asked for food! So looking forward to book 5 due out at the end of the month.
Challenges that would make most people cringe and Liana and others find a way over, under or around to get the truth about what really matters. Can't wait for book 5 at the end of the month....Who will head up the Knights and will they save everyone...
Waiting for this the latest volume in the Girl who dared series is finally over and was the wait worthwhile? Yes, yes and yes. It took me the entire first chapter to get back into the gist of the storyline and to be honest with you, I could have done with a page or two quickly flashing back through the story to jog my memory of all the current and recently deceased characters involved in this very thrilling futuristic fantasy. Bella, please add this to book 5 so that us senior citizens who forget what they have read last week don't have to suffer brain strain trying to remember the plot. Bella has once again written another brilliant addition to her ever expanding list of entertaining works of fantasy, seamlessly adding another very enjoyable volume to this saga, whilst losing nothing from the thrill I experienced in following the adventures of the small band of compatriots fighting to change the future for the better. I am not going to spoil the story for you by talking about the plot and what happens, but they still haven't left the tower. Can't wait until the end of January for the next follow up in this saga. A definite 5 star read.
Till I finished the book... Amazing!!!... Liana had it really hard, but reading how she made her way through all the tourney and gained people's respect and support, and how they little group has grew closer, make me feel eager to read more and more... Cannot wait for the next book!!! 😃👏👏👏
I was really enjoying returning to Liana's journey with her friends against the baddies in the tower until the final tournament scene which went on forever and was as dead boring as the climatic scene of the last Avengers movie. The strength of Bella's writing is in the characters and their differences, while working together to fix Scipio, not when battle scenes go on for countless pages, and descriptions of what is going on is often incomprehensible and usually boring to the max. Keep to the story Bella, not sure if or when I may rejoin the journey.
