Great box set!! I read each book individually.
Sheltered by the Bear: Riker is a bear shifter who lives in a dying mountain town. Every year his family holds a week-long brawl where shifters mostly bears come and fight each other for the cash prize. Riker and his brothers are the hosts and judges.This year on the first day of the Brawl, Ana a human stumbles across their fighting ring. Riker has to protect her from all the aggressive bears.
Ana was camping in the woods with her boyfriend and finds out he has been cheating on her. Her now ex abandons her in the woods where she is wandering lost with no working phone to call for help. She is happy when she hears voices but is shocked when she sees bears fighting and a man turn into a bear.
Riker is developing feelings for Ana but he is afraid to express them since he feels stuck in town and he knows there is nothing else there for Ana. Ana has strong feelings for Riker but she is afraid she is on the rebound. She is also determined that she will no longer forgo her dreams for a relationship.
Craved by the Bear: The yearly brawl is over and Rock Brolin is still in town. He hates being in Bear canyon and would rather be risking his life doing stunts for Hollywood. The problem is his life long friend and probably his mate lives in Bear Canyon. Rosalyn runs the local bar. She knows Rock is her mate but she also knows that there is no he would stay in town with her. Even though he occasionally visits her bar, gets drunk and proposes to her. Ros' dad is dying of cancer and now Rock has decided that she needs a mate to help take care of her when her father dies. Rock decides to interview all available bears to find the right mate for Ros. The problem is he doesn't really want her to be anyone's mate but his. Ros humors rock but she does agree to meet the eligible men. She has just about given up any hope of having her own mate beside her and is just looking for a good man. Then Rock decides he cares too much for Ros and he is willing to try a relationship. Will their love be enough or will the horrible memories of his abusive childhood drive him away from his mate.

If you are a new fan of the author, you may not know that she has written some terrific bear and wolf shifter series as well as the fantastic dragons and tigers. Here is a great chance to read one set altogether.
Secrets of the Bear:
Who doesn't love Frances? He is such a sweetie. Okay, so he's bad enough to win the Brawl but out of the ring, he is adorable. In fact, Valerie even said it, not that most people would consider anyone that big adorable.
When Valarie showed up on his doorstep with bruises and in fear, he remembered the hurt he felt when they parted. He needed to know who had hurt her. If she hadn't been protected by the one she'd chosen, maybe there was a way for them to be together again. But, she had chosen someone else. Could he trust her to want him now?
Booze and lovemaking. They don't always mix. This time there was a huge issue. More than either could imagine. When helpful friends get in the already mixed up mix things are even worse. When the man who'd hurt her shows up, it looks as if they may have more than their love life to worry about.
Thank you, Terry Bolryder, for giving Frances his own story. He deserves it.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! This one opens up with the steam flowing. At first, I wondered what was going on with these two. The author does a great job of rationing out the clues and information to keep us turning the pages. Ryland may be the youngest brother, however, he has always felt he had to do what it took to help his family. His last two plots ended with both brothers happily mated. Now, he has another plan. This one would end the Brawl. One. Way. or. Another. His family managed the shifter once-a-year all-out battle for the best fighter. He knew something his brothers and the town did not. It was probably the reason none of them entered the fight themselves, at least no one in their family had for many years. He was entering this year. Yet, he had to fight as a human. No way could he let his bear out. That is how Lea came into his life. He hired her as a professional trainer, a female alpha wolf shifter. And more! When they ended their last training session it became more. She left telling him their encounter was just that. Ryland knew it was more even though he wasn't ready to admit it. It took seeing another male touch her to admit she was his mate. Now, he just had to get her to admit it.
Each had secrets. Each had family obligations. Rylan was willing to admit his feelings, however, Lea still would not give in to him. Will they overcome their differences? The secrets they keep? There is danger and not just the fighters. Watching the family unite, friendship with Francis and the secrets come to light make for an engaging read. Don't miss it!
Craved by The Bear:
This author never disappoints. Another wonderful read. Rock had a horrific childhood making it seem impossible for him to remain in this town. Roz and his feelings for her keep pulling him back. He uses the excuse of a violent annual bear-only event he and his brothers are responsible for monitoring to bring him back.
The childhood trauma makes him feel inadequate to seriously claim Roz. Her father realizes his issues are holding him back and talk him into "interviewing" possible replacement mates for Roz. This brings some great humor to the story. Another bear, one of the prospects, handles Rock in a way that amazes both Roz and Rock--and makes for a fun episode. Rock smiles about everything, making me think he has hopes of a happy future.
Ms. Bolyrder manages to take a serious subject and deal with it, yet not make it a heavy subject, leaving hopeful outcomes. The mate draw between the two makes for great chemistry and heat, yet their real love and feelings are displayed. The solutions will be a boon for all and every reader will root for the town, the lovers, and a brighter future. Big bad star, Rock, has some great support he doesn't recognize. In addition, Roz has to learn that love is two-sided. She needs to be willing to make some changes as well.
Can they come to terms? Will the danger of being one of the few she-bears around force her to make a bad decision? Will she give and have patience enough for her mate to deal with his history? A satisfying ending (after all it is a love story) While this is a stand-alone book, we do get a tantalizing hint of the next book. I can't wait. It seems Mr. Rylan is in for his own story.

I was gifted copies of these books by the author when they were first released but had to purchase when she released the set, as they are really good. Here are the reviews that I posted for each individual book:
Sheltered by the Bear -
The Brolin brothers are fantastic and unique individuals. Riker is the responsible one that puts everyone's happiness over his. Ana has sacrificed for the happiness of her low-life boyfriend. Fate brings these two together and mixes in a bunch of bear brawlers and a wolf or two to make things interesting. Riker's two brothers (Rock and Ryland) are great support characters and add a little more action to the story. The story flows smoothly and was thoroughly entertaining. I cannot wait until Rock and Ryland get their stories. Terry's books normally sell for 99¢ and are available on Kindle Unlimited (which is how I first discovered her) and they are always worth the price.

Normally, I borrow Terry Bolryder books through Kindle Unlimited (an awesome service and I thank Terry for offering her books on it). Her new series Trapped in Bear Canyon once again shows the author's ability to tell a complete, engrossing, and wonderful story, full of well crafted characters. I liked Ros but my heart went out to Rock and all that he had to endure growing up. I loved Riker (Sheltered by the Bear) and Rock's story is just as good. The real gem from this book is the epilogue that concludes Rock and Ros' story (I won't give anything away, but it was fantastic). There is just one Brolin brother left and I feel Ryland's story will be the best. We will also need to get Francis and a certain little black bear a mate as well.

I really enjoy this series and I believe this is the best so far. Ryland being the mastermind behind the series so far, means to end the cycle of violence that his father subjected them all to. Riker and Rock have found their mates and Ryland has found his just as he is on the brink of completing his plan. Unfortunately, Lea has her own hidden agenda which throws a monkey wrench into Ryland's plans. The pairing of these two damaged souls was brilliant and offered Ryland his chance at redemption. The author really did such a fantastic job giving us Ryland's story and unveiling his secrets, that the book flew by and was over before I knew it. I love the epilogue as it gives us a nice conclusion and the teaser for the next book in the series (Francis!). Grab this series and enjoy!

I liked Francis from book 1 (Sheltered by the Bear) and he just kept us all hoping that he would find his own mate. Francis has been the stalwart friend to the Brolin Brothers through all three books. This book explains why he was willing to enter the Brawl and then stay in Bear Canyon. This is a classic star-crossed lovers story complete with a two-faced "friend". Francis is just an easy going, hardworking bear. Val has been treated abominably. The story is short but very entertaining with a lot of mis-understandings between our two main characters to keep you turning pages. A nice conclusion to the series even though I was hoping that Harvey would get his own book.

Sheltered By the Bear : Ana had gone on a camping trip to see if she could rekindle the passion with her boyfriend only to find out he was a cheater. Once she confronted him he took off and left her stranded. Riker was getting ready for the brawl to start with his brothers. After it started he never expected to have to rescuse a red headed beauty as they'd closed the road that lead up there. Some shifters causing trouble, some just being mischeverse and a couple of misunderstanding give the story a gripping effect as you can't wait to see what happenes next.
Craved By the Bear : Ros worked at her fathers bar and as one of the few female bear shifters she had her pick of the males but her heart had always belonged to one bear but he could never be happy staying in Bear Canyon. Rock hated having to go back to his childhood home because of the nightmears the place brought fourth. The only thing that made it bearable was Ros his childhood friend and saviour, the most beatiful woman he could ever want. As Rock tries to face his fears, Ros tries not to hope to much. Touching story of two people that are so right for each other that they need a little push in the right direction. So well written that you feel the emtions as ou read.
Redeeming the Bear : Ryland had a plan to put a stop to the brawl once and for all. So he had to learn to fight without shifting because he didn't trust his bear. When he finished training he realised that the woman training him was his mate. ~Lea was helping her brother by getting close to Ryland to try and find out where his father was so they could avenge their own father. As they grow closer things that neither of them new become clear. Plenty of action, twists and turns plus a surprise or two for good measure.

He did so trying to get over the girl he loved even though she was his mate, when she choose a friend of his to be with. Until one noght she knocks on his door asking for help. This touching story is about two people who were lied to and manipulated by a soulless pig who thrives on other peoples misery, but love is wonderful boost to those who share it and fate loves to give a push when needed.
As always another great series from this writer that I would recommend to all who love shifter romance and also those who don't normally read this sort of books. There well thought out and the stories fit well together.
Craved By the Bear : Ros worked at her fathers bar and as one of the few female bear shifters she had her pick of the males but her heart had always belonged to one bear but he could never be happy staying in Bear Canyon. Rock hated having to go back to his childhood home because of the nightmears the place brought fourth. The only thing that made it bearable was Ros his childhood friend and saviour, the most beatiful woman he could ever want. As Rock tries to face his fears, Ros tries not to hope to much. Touching story of two people that are so right for each other that they need a little push in the right direction. So well written that you feel the emtions as ou read.
Redeeming the Bear : Ryland had a plan to put a stop to the brawl once and for all. So he had to learn to fight without shifting because he didn't trust his bear. When he finished training he realised that the woman training him was his mate. ~Lea was helping her brother by getting close to Ryland to try and find out where his father was so they could avenge their own father. As they grow closer things that neither of them new become clear. Plenty of action, twists and turns plus a surprise or two for good measure.
Secrets of the Bear : Francis had taken the job of watching over Bear Canyon from the Brothers. He did so trying to get over the girl he loved even though she was his mate, when she choose a friend of his to be with. Until one noght she knocks on his door asking for help. Book 1 - Sheltered by the Bear - When ana gets dumped by her boyfriend and left alone in a closed off area in the canyon she's pissed. When she stumbles along and sees a brawl with a man and a bear she tried to leave, but there men stop her. Riker sees a human women in an all shifted area, he rescues her. Ana wants to leave but she can't until they open up the area after the brawling. Can Ana last that long. Will Riker do what he can to protect her and have her as his mate? Great read.

I loved Terry Bolryder’s new boxed set for the Bear Canyon Series. I originally read the books in this series individually. This series stars three bear shifting brothers trying to over come a messed up family that created their tiny little town and the annual brawl in which shifters compete for dominance and prize money. This series shares with readers how the bear brothers unexpectantly find their mates. Sheltered by the Bear, features Riker Brolin and Ana Johnson. Craved by the Bear features Rock Brolin and Rosalyn Morton, who are childhood friends who’ve always had feelings for each other. Ryland Brolin and Lea Atherton are featured in Redeeming the Bear, which has them working together to winner the Annual brawl. The final book in the series, secrets of the Bear, features Francis, the new leader of Bear Canyon, and Valerie his mate, who comes looking for help. Each book in the series is well written and features strong female characters who aren’t afraid to stand up and fight for what they want. I would strongly recommend this series for fans of shifter romance

New favorite Author
So I'm kinda new to Terry Bolryder's books. I started off with her interracial Dragon series hoping to finally find a good cross cultural author. I happy to say that I am very excited and pleased that I have FINALLY found a author. There has been so many times that I have read interracial romances and the non- caucasian character is stereotypically represented. In reality besides the hair ,skin color, and to be blunt the description on our lady parts there isn't much difference when it comes to romance. That is what I love about Bolryder she focuses on the characters,the journey, and love they share. Ok enough of that...This bundle was AWESOME I loved the Brolin brothers there upbringing and adventures in finding there mates is heartbreaking and exciting. Although Francis is not a Brolin his story was amazing and I'm so thankful it was part of this bundle. On to the next Bolryder book I go 🙌

Wonderful Romantic Read
All four books were wonderfully entertaining. The bear brothers were warm and quite lovable though all were scarred in their childhood by their brutal father. Though they are handsome shifters, each have their personal cross which makes them difficult to commit to any form of long-term relationship. But slowly we do see in each story, the Brolin brothers start to re-assess their lives and what they want from in with the help of their mates.. After reading Ryder, Rock and Ryland's stories, Ms. Bolryder also gives the reader the added bonus story of Francis who won the brawler competition. How these stubborn men meet their mates is told with compassion and a lot humour. Read the anthology yourself and find out. Trust me y out won't be disappointed!!

What an awesome set of stories!
If ever a family needed healing, this one did! Three boys emotionally and physically damaged by their abusive father. Each avoiding a committed relationship for fear of becoming men like their father. Riker, Rock and Ryland find their mates (and their HEAs) while, bit by bit, working out a way to change their father’s legacy into something that will help Bear Canyon grow and prosper. Their friend, Francis, has his own part to play in the new developments going on in Bear Canyon, as he takes over running the town. I really like the way these men turn out, and the women that won their hearts. The stories have enough excitement and adversity to keep my heart pumping throughout!

Terry Bolryder does it again!
A great series with all 4 books at one great price! The Brolin brothers get together in Bear Canyon every year to run the Brawl. Theirs are the first 3 stories with their friend Francis being the last story. These all had a little harsher tone than other books by her. There is a lot of action, some pretty heavy duty character development dealing with major issues, steamy scenes, some laughter and some really cool, if conflicted, bear shifters. These stories have more meat to them than some feel good stories I enjoy. These were a lot tenser, but still very good.

THE MOUNTAINS HIDE UNUSUAL LOVES TO FIND.
4 STARS for this Boxed Set Series of Paranormal Romance with entertaining drama that keeps the reader involved and turning the pages. I highly recommend these Novellas, however in the 1st one I did almost not read the rest because of my frustration with Ana, the human RN who is Riker's mate. Yet, I was only irritated at the knowledge that there are really women like that in the real world, whose entire thoughts are controlled by guys, i.e. the boy friend that she broke up with. Other than that, I enjoyed the mystery I found in the other storylines.

Nice little series. Well worth reading.

The brothers each have serious issues that they need to work on. Because of the severe physical and emotional abuse at the hands of their father, the brothers nearly lose their mates. Two humans and a bear shifter. Each very strong women who help the brothers deal with what life has thrown at them. Throw in a 'Bear Brawl ,an event where shifters from around the world gather to fight until only only remains, run by the brothers, you have a recipe for some very interesting times.

Bear Canyon Complete series by terry Bolryder is a 5 star read.
I read each of these books individually when they were released and I loved everything about though them. Sheltered by the bear (the first in the series) was the very first bear shifter book I’d ever read and this was the book that started my love affair with all books shifter related. Terry Bolryder is always an automatic one click for me.

A good book for anyone who likes a shifter romance. This set includes stories of three brothers and a friend. The brothers were abused as children and each learnt to cope with life in their own way. It took three good women to help them to really accept themselves. The fourth book is about Francis who was all about peace and acceptance until it came to his mate!
You'll go through a whole range of emotions but it will be good.

This complete series with the three Brolin brothers and Francis as they find their mates and bring peace to Bear Canyon is amazing. Broken men all with things in their past they all want to forget. Terry Bolryder definitely grabs your attention and doesn't let go to the very last page so much so that you want the story to continue past the HEA ending. This series will give you good feels for sure.

Suspenseful, Fun and Romantic!!!
I just finished the series and I loved each of the brothers, with each one having different characteristics and challenges because of their experiences from their abusive father, yet with each beautiful, independent and strong woman, that fit them perfectly they overcame their own battles to gain happiness. I thoroughly loved each brother and Francis too, I would gladly recommend these books to anyone that loves a great story!!!😻💕😉

Rugged and wonderful
I enjoyed this series because the characters were very well developed and the stories didn't get distracted by their hobbies or go on at length about what happened in the past. The plots were set out in an easy-to-follow chronology, complex points were briefly but thoroughly explained, and everything was neatly tied up at the end except those things which led into the next book. My favorite bear was Francis.

Loved these beats!
This box set was great and I loved how each bear had insecurities that they fault with n conquered. I loved Rikers story n Rylands story the best I think. Ryland just stole my heart because even though he was the youngest he was the biggest baddest bear with the kindest heart and most loving sneaky planner to always be helping his brothers. Just loved this series n I am sure you will too

Great series, loved them all
Really great series, kept you interested right from the start to the end, just as all the books that I have brought and fell in love with, very good author and can't wait for more from her. Oh I have every one of her Dragon books also, so much fun reading how they got their mate, I laughed, cried, fell in love every one of the Dragons and their mate's.

Great read!
This is a very good shifter series. As per most shifter stories, the connection with theur mate happens quick. And the chemistry and love is palpable. This series focuses on the Brolin brothers, their lives and how the became the men they are today. After finding out about their childhood, and what they had to deal with. You realise the very sexy alpha brothers seriously need and deserve love and healing. They will capture your attention and steal your heart. I love these guys!

Bad pasts created great futures

I really loved the story. Each story was so intense, you could not stop reading. Each person finding an inner strength to go forward after really bad things happened to them. They learn of secrets that kept them apart but made a stronger bond with them being told.

Fantastic series and I recommend it to anyone who loves fated mates and wonderful storylines. Each couple has their own issues to work through but they give hope to everyone who has the strength to keep their heart and faith that things will eventually give you the courage to face your challenges.

This is a great series! Terry is a very talented author, who has a knack for creating awesome worlds! Her characters are so imviting that they suck you into the story! I highly recommend checking this boxset out, and her other series!
