Second Time Around spans the past seventeen years and covers relationships with men, women and above all, myself. A tale of betrayal by someone I counted as one of my closest friends; a tale of relationships with men, and how they can and do, often go very wrong. It is also a story of my relationship with my now ex-boyfriend, detailing the highs and lows of our relationship and the problems we had in trying to keep a long-distance relationship alive. Often raunchy, frequently funny and sometimes poignant, I believe this is a story that will be of hope and inspiration to women all over the world who not only have encountered relationship problems, but who have also loved and lost. Above all, I believe this story to be one of courage, guts and determination.
