Bad Boys for Hire: Liam is an amazingly fantastic story of learning to refocus and reclaim your life in the face of continued opposition and blatant sabotage. This story wound its words and hope around my heart, and it wouldn’t allow me to give up hope no matter how entangled and twisted things became. When I wanted to rest to save my heart from breaking, it pushed me forward into the coming storm, and helped me to brave it. Just the face that the country of Ireland has endured so much tragedy and ugliness and still survives and thrives is enough hope that a new days is on the horizon no matter how long our night seems to last.
Marisa is a woman who continually rushes into situations heart first, gives it her all, and then has to pick herself back up off the floor and start over. It is her over eager heart that always seems to let her down. For example, she has just been fired from being a personal nurse to a paraplegic man, and she is under the impression that becoming a contestant on a reality show will help her find love and improve her luck along the way. Everyone can see failure written all over this idea except for Marisa, but with time to burn, she doesn’t see the harm in a little adventure. Will her adventure lead her to good things just like she hopes, or will it show her just how bad her luck can get? Will Ireland prove to be the lucky place that some claim it is, or will she find it too harsh, dreary, and barren to give her anything good?
It was such a thrilling pleasure and delight to watch this story unfold before my eyes. This book is one laced with excited hope and high expectation that feels full to bursting if not met as desired. The wonderful characters made this story so vibrant and real for me. They taught me so much in a short amount of time. Their slow yet beautiful progression was sometimes breathtaking and other times cringe-worthy. Nothing too away the blazing hope that dripped from each word as it feel from my lips. That was what kept me going when I thought things were too ugly and painful to continue forward.
Rachelle Ayala has written yet another brilliant work of art that will show you that no matter what the state of your life, always know that you can remake it into the stuff of dreams with enough heart, effort, and hope. While we can’t control the influences of others on our life, we can control how we react and the choices we make. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes; just be afraid when you don’t pick yourself up afterwards.
Count on Ms. Ayala to make the eccentricities of life fun. Liam is a story about legends and new beginnings. Marisa made her first appearance in Carol and Nick's journey into love. This time around she finds herself on her own quest for happiness. A foreign land, a crazy opportunity and an out of work actor take her life of cloudy days into what could be a sunny life. If she can relax her mind and follow her heart. Romance, Ayala style is full of wacky moments but never light on heartwarming entertainment.
Audio Review: I loved Liam and Marissa at first read. At first listen, I got a front row seat to the craziness that captured my heart. Romance, Ayala style is full of wacky moments but never light on heartwarming entertainment.
I laughed I cried I laughed some more this story was too much and then some Rachelle Ayala, I don't know where she comes up with it kinda makes me want to visit the emerald isle myself

This is a very interesting story that I read both the long version and the short version of. If you are gonna read this one, read the long one! I beta-read this book so this review is for that and it may change when the final version is out
So the story is very fun and interesting and I like the set-up. Cant really say I enjoyed the main female character Marisa but I love Liam. I just wish he would go for a different girl. The story is complex with a lot going on and that is something I like. It has romance and it has problems and intrigue. Everything I love with a good romance book.
What I do not like about the book is that it dont feel finished and of course Marisa. Well we skip Marisa for now and go for the story. The story flows well beside that I feel like, even in the long version, story is missing. Also in the end there is an epilogue and I do not like it, I wish it was in the story because i was so surprised and thought WTF is it doing here. The book would be awesome more story was written into it. the Romance between Liam and Marisa is strange. I do not understand what he sees in her and why he settle for her. I do not think they are a perfect fit at all. And that is a bit a shame. I was hoping Liam would go for someone else so I was disappointed about that.
There is paranormal/mythical aspects in the book that I dont mind. It is set in Ireland after all, but if you dont like this kind of stuff, the book is not for you. It will just annoy you and destroy it for you.
Even with all this I enjoyed the book I just wish it was more of it and less chopped up. It is worth a read!
This book is a fun read. Marisa Monroe has the dubious honor of winning the preliminary round of “America’s Unluckiest”, a popular reality show. Her next stop for the show is Ireland, where she needs to find true love to win the big prize.
Marisa decides to give herself a head start and hires someone to pose as her Irish love interest. The surprises begin when she arrives at the Dublin airport. Liam Donovan, an aspiring actor, overheard her hired boyfriend (another Liam!) talking about his job. Liam D. decides to pull the rug under him and take on this job for himself. After all, the exposure will be good for his acting career.
Trouble starts from the time Marisa lands in Ireland. Her personal assistant (Mia), the loser of the early round, sets up situations in which Marisa is bound to fall short. However, Mia does not realize that the acting boyfriend is going to play his role to the fullest.
The reader is treated to a wonderful tour of some of the Emerald Isle’s culture and history. We are along for both the good and bad (unlucky?) things that happen to Marisa. What will happen between Marisa and Liam Donovan? The cat lover in me adores the flavor Liam’s cat, Rat, adds to the story.
There are some sexy situations, so if you are easily offended this book may not be for you. But if you enjoy some spice in your romance, I recommend that you pick up a copy of this book today. It is a fast and easy story to read and one I think that romance readers will enjoy.
I received an Advance Reader’s Copy from the author but am not required to post a positive review. All opinions here are my own.
Marissa Monroe is the sister of Carol Cassidy and she has just joined the show "America's Unluckiest" to try and change her luck at love and actually fall in love. The only problem is that Marissa doesn't think she actually has a chance of winning and she contacts Rex Carter, owner of Bad Boys for Hire, to hire a man for the trip.
Liam Donovan is a limo driver who wants to make his mom proud and when he hears that America's Unluckiest is coming to Ireland he knows that this is his chance to making something of himself. He knows he will have to be devious to get Marissa to fall for him but he is willing to go to any length.
As Marissa and Liam's "love" story begins to unfold for the viewers not everyone is happy with what is happening. Will Marissa be sabotaged so that someone else can find their own happy ever after and where will that leave Marissa?
This is another great book in this series and I loved the characters of Liam and Marissa.
I loved the insecurity of Marissa and how desperate she was to win the TV show. I thought it was funny that she thought she needed to pay someone to pretend to be in love with her. I thought it was ironic that she thought America's Unluckiest was going to be easier than it was and without the twists and turns that book had.
I liked Liam but knew there was definitely more to his story than what we initially knew. There was a reason he needed on that show but we needed to learn what it was. He was definitely determined to win Marissa's heart.
There were so many twists and turns in the book and I was pretty sure that Mia would have done whatever she could to get back in the spotlight. I was definitely shocked at the lengths that the show went to in order not to give Marissa a happy ever after.
The ending was great and I wasn't sure how the ending was going to turn out but I loved the journey getting there!
it could be said of Marisa, that if it weren't for bad luck, she'd have no luck at all. She's this year's victim, I mean, celebrity on the America's Unluckiest reality TV show. She's picked Ireland as her destination to change her luck. Ireland, a land of magic, beauty and romance. In order to insure her romantic luck she employs Bad Boys For Hire and gets Liam. Actually she gets two Liams.. And the fun begins. The Liam we root for is a wanna be actor, of course he doesn't tell Marisa that, and so begins the deception that will haunt him. Marisa does start to realize luck is what you make it. And despite miscues, devious tricks and a magical cat (or perhaps because of that cat) Marisa and her true Liam find love and luck amidst the beauty of the Irish. Fun, charming and whimsical this book will have you believing in magic.
In true Rachelle Ayala form this book delivers. Its witty and believable with lots of heart. Loved Marissa and Liam. Marissa is your everyday girl seeking acceptance from her family. True to life she's had her fair share of bad luck. So how better to solve her luck problems than a reality show that flies her to the luckiest place on earth, Ireland. Not wanting to leave things to chance she decides to call in bad boys for hire. Enter Liam, a handsome Irish catch. The story follows Marissa's adventure in love and luck with Liam. Read this story now to see if Marissa truly is the unluckiest person around or if Liam might just be able to turn her luck around.
I enjoyed this story I think Liam and Marisa were meant to meet in the unluckiest person contest. There was an attraction between them and what a great place to be in Ireland and Liam took her to see many different places. Some fairytale and scary places they explored together. Marisa realized that she may not be as unlucky as she thought read to find out what happens between these two. Rachelle Ayala writes such great stories and this one will not disappoint you either.
if you like alpha males and strong women , you will like the story, i was given a copy of the book but i am giving an honest review. she messes up everything but he is an actor who wants his big break, they are on a tv show, you have to read to see what happens.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!! This is a great St. Patrick's day romance that is sweet, whimsical, sexy and lots of unluckyness! I really enjoyed Liam and Marissa and all the fun they had getting to know each other! The luck of the Irish is real!!😁

Set in Ireland with beautiful well detailed descriptions & settings of the country, culture, and history as well as paranormal & mythical aspects in relation to Ireland. I loved this story of quirky characters and Irish legends. There were some funny and dangerous situations. With a hot guy and a pretty girl being exploited for her bad luck on a tv show. But she is certain her luck could change and maybe she will find love in magical Irland. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily giving a review.
Marrissa is in a reality show which wants her to fail. It really likes to embarrass her. To keep from being a failure she hires a bad boy to help her be a success at the show. Loved the story line and had to keep reading to find out what could happen to her.
Liam overhears a man bragging about getting paid to be on a reality show and helping a girl win. He gets all the details and heads to pick her up then things start going from bad to worse. I ell for Liam right away even though he was sneaking himself into Marisa's reality show to get himself noticed. I mean he is a bad boy after all. Marisa I have to admit I didn't like her from the previous books and at first in this one either. She eventually grew on me though, I guess because I disliked Mia even more. This is such a good book I was hooked and couldn't put it down, waiting to see what would happen to Marisa or Liam next. There is a lot going on, Lots of twists, a touch of magic, and a cute little black cat. The story is a fun romance with some heat. If you like luck of the Irish, sexy Irishmen, reality shows. a touch of magic, great romance, lots of twists and some hot loving this is for you added audio review. I love the duo narration by Tor Thom and Charley Ongol. The Irish accent is to die for!
Loved this story, Marissa is a women who is looking to be accepted for who she is. She believes that everything is either a tributes to either bad luck or good luck and not just because things happen for a reason. She is now in a reality show that flies her to Ireland. Always trying to better her luck she calls Bad Boys for Hire and arranges her luck. Liam is a handsome catch he wants to break into acting what better why than to follow the most unluckiest women. As for me I laughed, cried and laughed out loud. A must to read Rachelle Alaya has never disappointed her readers.

Bad Boys for Hire: Liam Bad Boys for Hire Series, Volume 4 By: Rachelle Ayala Narrated by: Tor Thom, Charley Ongel
This is a entertaining and fun book, the storylines are interesting and original. They fascinated me from start to end. The characters are complex and well developed. Marisa has been down on her luck, she participated in a reality show and won the “America’s Unluckiest” preliminary round she and is given an opportunity to turn her luck around. She thinks going on a vacation will change her luck, well that one the luck of the Irish since she choose Ireland as her destination. To win she has to fall in love, so to tip the game in her favor she hires a “bad boy” to play her love interest who will be greeting her at the airport. When she arrives she is met with two Liams, a Donovan and a Donahue, Lucky Liam and Big Laim. I liked how all this played out, how nothing went according to plans yet Marissa stuck with it. I was not a fan of Mia or how the rules kept changing but was happy all worked out in the end. This is action packed, fast paced story with plenty of drama, twists, some angst and a nice romance. It is the type of story that makes you smile, have your head spinning and eyes rolling. Thank you Rachelle Ayala for this wonderful story,
I listened to Audible edition, Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are amazing narrators and talented voice performers. They bring these characters to life, give each their own voice and personality. Shout out to Tor Thom’s accents, sounded awesome and authentic. They put a lot of heart into their performance, you could hear the emotions of the characters as well as the drama of the story. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen.
Bad Boys for Hire, can they help out Marissa? She is off to Ireland to film a reality TV show, figuring this is her chance at changing her luck and having a vacation. She reaches out for help to ensure her win by hiring a bad boy. Liam, an aspiring actor hears the money you can make on a reality TV show and wiggles his way into a job, hoping to be noticed for his acting ability. Little does he know what he has gotten himself into! Mia, the show's manager, is the previous loser of the show and is willing to do just about anything to make sure Marissa loses, even if it inhibits Marissa's safety. Rachelle Ayala again has written a warm love story, with real life problems to be solved as well as little suspense to keep us all engaged in the outcome! Marissa is definitely one that need some confidence boosting, her self esteem is low, and Liam is just the man to see her for who she is, and show Marissa her own self worth. These two together show how life's unexpected turns may bring you to your lucky pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. With some Irish folklore mixed into this fun listen, you are sure to fall for this bad boy!
Of course the setting being in Ireland, a good Irish brogue is needed for Liam, and Tor Thom brings it! His baritone voice, with the Irish lilt is warm and inviting, so it's easy to fall for Liam. Charley Ongel gives voice to Mia with the perfect evil tone, you can feel her need to wreak havoc on Marissa. She gives Marissa just enough uncertainty in the beginning and really shows her growth in confidence as the story progresses. Love this team, they are wonderful!
Being the contestant on a reality show should be fun right, but for Marisa Monroe all bets are off at the beginning. Marisa has chosen Ireland as the setting for her preliminary round and also decides she needs a leg up for the win and hires an escort, from Bad Boys for Hire. Total confusion ensues from the moment she reaches the airport in Dublin. Not one, but two Liam’s Donahue and Donavan show up and say they are her escort? One of the Liam’s takes her luggage leaves to get the car, the other Liam takes her arm and says he is her escort? Who is who? And where is her luggage? In the meantime Mia Fairbanks who is supposed to be her assistant is trying to and continues to negate her at every turn, and she has attached herself to Liam Donahue. Marisa through all this try’s to keep a positive attitude. One She is in love with Ireland the country side, the folklore, Liam Donavan may? may not be? the man she hired but he maybe the man she wants? Being on a reality show wasn’t what it was cracked up to be, but it sure worked in Marisa’s favor. Finally did Marisa live up to the name of the show “America’s Unluckiest” Yes or No? You decide!
This audible book was gifted to me by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel the narrators, (I love listening to them), for a fair and honest review. Plus this author is new to me, thank you all. It was a fun and enjoyable story.
The intention mistaken identity plot worked for me, mainly because Liam Donovan is a decent guy at heart. I could have enjoyed the story more if Marisa was a more likable person. She has the attitude that her life hasn't been great because of the things others have "done to her" and she envies the good things that others have worked hard and sacrificed much to achieve. Now the central figure in a reality TV show, Marisa plans a way to cheat (hire a guy to "accidentally meet" and have a whirlwind romance with for the cameras) rather than researching the places and culture of the country they will be filming in and maybe becoming an interesting person that the audience will root for. Then, she glibly walks right into situations and places that the show producers have chosen to set her up for humiliation and to put her life in danger. Fortunately, Liam, or the kitten he adopted and named Rats, seems always able to rescue or at least lead her to safety. I don't know that I buy the idea of them really bonding to create a HEA. I voluntarily read an advanced review copy provided by the author and I offer my honest opinion in response.

I am not a fan of reality shows but having read other stories in this series, I gave this one a try. Glad I did. Marisa Monroe has signed up for the reality show titled , America’s Unluckiest, being filmed in Ireland. She decides to hire a Bad Boy for Hire for her stay in Ireland to ensure she position in the show. Liam Donovan, an unemployed actor, overheard the story from the real Liam being hired and took it upon himself to take his place. From the moment Marisa arrives in Ireland, it was more of a comedy of errors. No one is lucky, feelings that seem to be blooming collapse, trust is lost and the show’s producers are only interested in ratings even if people are hurt . In the end , will Marisa and Liam get their HEA or will they go their separate ways? With some magic, and Irish history we are entertained all the way to the end. The narrators Tor Thom and Charley Ongel were excellent.
Bad Boys For Hire by Rachelle Ayala featuring Liam is awesome. Ireland is such a fun location for a book in this series. The premise for this book was original, and the story was very captivating. I loved the reality tv show angle for link to the characters meeting. The narration was perfect. Tor Thom is incredibly talented with his various and distinguished voices for the characters. His Irish accent was terrific. Charley Ongel is fantastic putting in so many raw emotions. Together the narrators have incredible chemistry one can feel. The character of Rats was a fun addition to this listen too. Rachelle Ayala once again pulled me into a book. The twist in the story was a fun change. I really enjoy it when a book is not totally predictable.
A down on her luck American girl goes to Ireland to enter a reality TV show she hopes will change her luck and win her a fantasy trip with her whole family. In order to tip the deck a bit in her favour she arranges to hire one of the Bad Boys for Hire, but things don't go exactly as planned, which sets off an adventure through the Emerald Isle that is the stuff of the best rom-coms. Marisa is a sweet but naive beauty with a stubborn belief in the luck of the Irish and Liam is a handsome, rugged Irish rogue with a heart of gold and a hankering to be a big American film actor, and together they are more fun than I've had in a long time. A great read for St. Paddys day or anytime you're feeling the need for a little luck and a lot of Blarney.
