A cute book set in a village with a tight nit community, lots of gossip and scandal. Perfect Sunday afternoon read.

Picked up this book expecting a Bridget Jones style girl meeting boy on the train, boy is with wrong woman, but finds his way to the right one in the end but it’s just adultery central. Not my vibe at all, but did enjoy the writers style despite hating all the characters by the end.

Terrible read. Unlikable characters and horribly plot. It wasn’t even remotely comedic as suggested. I’m so disappointed.

I didn’t think it was possible to detest a set of main characters quite so much, but I hated them so much I almost didn’t bother finishing the book.
