I listened to this on an old episode of the No Sleep podcast and had to stop everything I was doing to give this one star.

Because there's obviously nothing more horrifying than a fat person. 🙄 Typical trope use of an obese person as ugly, disgusting and monsterous with the added bonus of making her cannibalize her own daughter - because an hour without food is worse than killing her kid clearly.

It's an old story sure, but people still manage to come across it. Don't read if you're struggling with body image issues or anything of the like. It's trigger city.

Ending was a little obvious. Also the mc did not follow patient confidentiality too well.

The REALLY strong point is the word choice of the body horror. I felt queasy and the scene, smell, and everything felt familiar and real. It may of helped I listened to an audio recording of it as well with sound effects. That is the real horror here.
