The Third Testament

Rate this book
Phil Bret had left Switzerland in a hurry years ago, after becoming involved in a conspiracy called the M-Initiative within the Swiss Intelligence Agency. He had returned to South Africa, where he had a semblance of a normal life with his wife, Kate.

But when he starts receiving mysterious notes and Kate's life is threatened, he knows he has to return to Switzerland and face what he had previously run away from.

Unsure who to trust and with the watchers and others after him, will he survive? The council, known to be brutal and headed by the warden, who is the master puppeteer controlling governments, banking and espionage throughout the world, were not finished with Phil and nothing could stop their rise to power.

The Council argues that it did not conspire to create a Messiah out of Phil Brett, but that they had simply been among the first to identify him as the returned Messiah. Some think it is a conspiracy to position Switzerland as the centre of world religion and the revised spiritual beliefs, with vast commercial potential.

The book raises intriguing ideas of what the Messiah’s message might be if he is already among us today. Would he reveal God in terms of our greater knowledge of the cosmos, merging science and religion? Would he empower women in a celebration of human sexuality? Would he free us to achieve great strides forward?
