This book is a bit of a continuation from the last book. Some of the events from the previous book takes place simultaneously with this one. I really enjoyed this book. It was good to see them battle someone other than Fallon for a change and I will be interested to see where the authors take the series from here. Both Logan and Jensen were great as the MCs and it’s always a delight to see the other characters interact with each other.

The story itself was good. I may have rated the book a little higher except that there were things that happen during the battle that had me rolling my eyes. Also, I think Jensen acted a bit out of character towards the end of the book. It of course left some things hanging at the end. This is a continuing series so it’s to be expected. I am really hoping that Sutter gets his story soon. I think if you enjoyed the previous book, you will like this one.

This is book 7 of the Eternal Flames Maddox Series. Have to say the books just keep getting better and better. They will keep you on the edge not totally knowing what is going to happen. Jensen for sure will keep you on your toes not knowing what going to happen next. The characters will all their difference and their quirky attitude blend so well. Can't wait to see who is next hopefully the happy ending for someone with the band. Highly recommend this book and series.

We have seen Jensen around Maddox quite often. He has always peaked my interest. Now, we get to see what his story is all about. And what a story it is!!!!

We always talk about Fate and how she knows what she is doing. This is no different, but, this time, it is personal. She truly does pair up Jensen and Logan, and their abilities, perfectly!

Honestly, I don't know what I was expecting, and I guess that's the charm of these books. They always keep you on your toes for what comes next
