This is the first book in this series. First of all, there are way too many spaces that needs to be eliminated. The book is actually shorter than it appears. Otherwise, this is a really good book so far. I am getting ready to start the season one book since I purchased all four books. The chapter titles are unique, this author, Kia, has each chapter as who will be speaking next. This uniqueness reminds me of the Delaney sisters autobiography. Anyway, this is a romance novel with family values in it. I enjoy reading it, and believe you will too. The extra spaces needs to be eliminated. I purchased the digital books. Be Bless!
This is my first time reading this authors work and I am glad I took the chance. The characters are well developed and the story flowed nicely. The build up of the main relationship was great although a bit slow moving, but it was needed for the spirituality of the book to shine. I will be putting this author on my list of authors to support- hoping book 2 is just as good. P.S. I’m not one of those reviewers to give away the book.
I liked that the book dealt with real issues, what confused me was how Toys and Jake took to get together. But I would recommend this book for romance readers. However I was disappointed with hoe it ended. I think , if it's going to be a part II, that the reader should get a discount on the purchase of the next book.
I found this book to be a great easy read. It seemed as patronage story line happened a little soon but it was still pretty interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a Christian based novel.
I enjoyed the book. Becoming a step-parent isn’t easy. I think Toya did right by marrying her first love. However she should’ve been better prepared to deal with obstacles. Hopefully April doesn’t cross the line by sleeping with Jake.
Another cliff hanger. Here I am engrossed with the outline of the story and the writer decides to cut the book into different parts. Now am curious to know why it ended with a cliff hanger. And I honestly am not a lover of cliff hangers dear me🤦🏾♀️
Wow. Can you ever afford to let your guard down. Where was her discernment? Can't wait to read the next volume. I believe they loved each other but giving second chances is questionably.
