Both short stories were pleasant enough.
The Sherlock Holmes story was written in a style that suits the era and genre, but the plot was a little simple.
The Jack the Ripper one used an interesting angle, banking on the fear that women must have felt back then and underlining the abuse women could experience from their husband. But the style itself felt a little weak for my taste.

Dommage
