Desi had a scary and very creepy experience a few weeks back. That's why she's now at the local highschool for their new Self-Defense Class.

Enter Reznor.

He's a SWAT agent from San Francisco. But he needed some time off from work. He thinks he made a mistake that cost lives. It wasn't his fault, but that doesn't make it any better.

He's Sunnyville's new self defense instructor!

Desi and Rez do not really start with the best impression of each other. BUT of course they start with mega sparks and attraction too.

And also ... he's her new next-door neighbor.

Let the fun times begin!

Aww, that was adorable!

A cute and sexy and funny little romance full of dogs and sexy neighbors and some PTSD problems. I really liked reading it.

It took me a few pages to get into the story. It started a bit ... weirdly written? No idea what I mean, but it got better and I finished reading it pretty fast!

This was a lovely addition to the "Everyday heroes" series!!!
To tell you the truth, when i start reading Cuffed, i thought that Desi will end up with some of the other two Malone boys, but nope, that wasn't the deal and thank God for that, because the things are perfect as they are!!!!
Desi was having a big part on Grant and Emerson's book since she is Em's best friend and Grant's best friend in law, as she put it in this novel and she played a small part in the other two books, so it was inevitable to have eventually her story!!! It was needed, i think!!!!

Well, Desi is starting self defense lessons because a couple weeks ago, there was an incident which shake her up...
Reznor was a SWAT officer who decide to take a break because of some shits that he had to witness...
Rez ended up in Sunnyville as an self defence instructor and there he met Desi...
Their first encounter was... strange in a way!!!! And full of embarassment...
Imagine, when they are discovering that their are also temporarily neighbors!!!!

"All i can think about is how damn unexpected she is- and at the same time such a very welcome distraction.
I think I'm going to like my time in Sunnyville."

"I don't want to admit it to myself, but the man has my attention in more ways than one."

Well, Desi has certain ideas about relationships.... She is preffering to just have fun and to not get invested to someone else...
Rez used to be the same, but something in Desi is drowing him in.... He is persisted, even though she is fighting him with tooth and nails...
The attraction between them is inevitable, so what will happen with them???
Will Desi leave her fears aside and take a chance to Rez???
Will Rez manage to persuade her to be with him when he is with one foot out of the door???

Well, i loved both of them...
Desi was crazy since book one and i loved her bubbling very much!!!! She surely was a tough nut to crack...
Rez was... yummy, i can say!!!! I loved him instantly!!!
He was so sure with himself and he didn't leave room to question his intentions... He was a good and awesome guy!!!!
Those two together were so hot and right... I loved them!!!!

There was no softness, no tenderness—just stripped-down necessity in that first kiss.

I've loved sassy and quirky Desi ever since we first met her as the bff in Cuffed. And I couldn't wait to meet the man that will shake up her world.

Demi doesn't believe in forever. At least not with a man. Dogs? Absolutely! As the owner of Doggy Style, she loves her furry companions. But she hasn't had much luck with men. They lie, they cheat, and what's the point of forever when you can have the now? Her bestie may be happily settled down, but that's not in her cards. When a home invasion leaves her seeking self defense classes, she stumbles on a man that won't take anything less than everything she has to give.

Reznor is a SWAT commander that's recovering in Desi's small town after a job went terribly wrong. A change of pace is what he needs and teaching women self defense is the perfect escape. He doesn't expect the mouthy beauty that steals all of his attention. And he certainly doesn't expect to work so hard for her to take a chance on them. But that's exactly what he does.

I loved Rez and Desi together. I loved the way that Rez pursues her with a singleminded intent. I love how Desi really makes him work for it. Their chemistry is absolutely incendiary and I couldn't get enough of them. I did with for slightly more background on Desi to truly understand and connect with her fear of commitment. However, for a short novella, this was still entirely satisfying. It was fun, sexy, and quick paced. I devoured it in one sitting. A fantastic addition to a great series!

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book in one sitting. I really couldn’t put this down. It caught my interest from the start and I absolutely devoured it in no time. Classic Bromberg that I could describe with 3 words:

I loved every minute of it. I only wish it was a full-length novel so I could swoon more over this hot AF SWAT agent Reznor Mayne. He was sexy, tattooed, alpha, a bit cocky, very determined to get what he wanted, persistent, unrelenting even and although he wasn’t a patient man, he sure acted very in control around Desi. He was pretending to be a bad boy but he sure was one of the good ones and he showed his sweet and caring side pretty quickly. Top-notch BBF material. And he definitely didn’t mind getting all dirty.

Desi, on the other hand, was a tough one. I loved her in Cuffed, really enjoyed her easygoing personality and free spirit. I knew she would need a strong man to deal with her sassy attitude and boy, did she find her match.

Their first encounter was rather funny. I laughed a lot with their witty banter and they most definitely made a memorable first impression on me. I was grinning like an idiot the whole time.

They were both like a Molotov cocktail thrown into a burning fire – EXPLOSIVE. The sexual chemistry was off the charts hot. And the steamy scenes made my heart race. You would most certainly need a cold shower after reading some of them. Phew! Fanning myself still.

The physical attraction was a given, but they complemented each other on every level and managed to sooth each other’s insecurities. And even though the book was short it still conveys a powerful message that I’m sure will resonate with many. Definitely K. Bromberg at her finest.

The story is a complete stand-alone but those who have read Cuffed would be happy to see more of Grant and Emerson in here. It was an added bonus for me to get a glimpse at how their relationship has progressed. I absolutely loved every single story of Everyday Heroes series. The Malone brothers are not to be missed. But Reznor Mayne is something else. Just grab your copy and find out for yourself all his

Control by K. Bromberg was a sexy, charming, and sweet novella packed with quite an emotional punch! I absolutely loved Desi and Reznor. There were scorching hot fireworks right off the bat and their banter was steamy with a little bite! I was entertained and charmed from beginning to end and I knew once I started, there was no setting this romantic gem down. This incredible, fast-paced, easy to read novella is set in Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes world so it’s possible that you’ve already met the feisty Desi. If not, no worries, because this can be read as a complete standalone, although, I will highly recommend practically anything that this woman writes. If you’re looking for a swoonTASTIC love story with all the FEELS, you must pick up this book and you must check out Bromberg’s backlist because you will NEVER be disappointed…only absolutely delighted and utterly entertained.

This was a novella and a quick read. There wasn’t really much character development with either character really or too much conflict. The audiobook is good though, Jason Clarke is awesome, enough said.

K. Bromberg always does it for me! I loved this series and I was impatently waiting for Desi's story since we meet her sassy self on the first book. And of course, I knew Kristy would make her justice and write a beautiful love story for her. And also create a swoony alpha that would steal Desi's (and mine's) heart. Oh yes, this was definitely a good read!

So, Control is a novella coming from Kristy's Everyday Heroes series and, as I said, it tells the story of Desi Whitman (Em's sassy BFF) and Reznor Mayne (a new to town sexy SWAT). Desi has actually experienced something that makes her insecure, especially around men, and now she is joining a self-defense class. Obviously, her hot instructor is Reznor. They start kind of badly but with a whole lot of sexual tension. That chemistry explodes and that becomes so much more. Something that neither Desi or Reznor were expecting: a beautiful connection that transforms into love.

“You’re going to kiss me and make me forget my bad dream, and then I’m going to kiss you back to help you forget about yours.”

Gah! K. Bromberg surely knows how to write a gripping love story, even when it's a short one! I loved how she developed Desi and Reznor's relationship: from the very start to the very end. I loved seeing all of Desi's sides and how perfect Reznor is for her. He is such a wonderful hero! Reznor is protective, a pure alpha male and oh-so-sexy! The chemistry between these two was mindblowing and when vulnerability and feelings got in the mix it got even better. I was so happy to read how these two find each other and they fall in love.

Therefore, I am rating Control with 4 STARS because it was simply a great novella to read. Kristy's writing is one of my favorites and I adore all the characters she writes. Desi and Reznor were no exception to that! heir relationship developed wonderfully and they got quite a beautiful ending. Yes, I do wish this short story was longer because I loved it and yes, I do wish it had an epilogue to wrap everything up better. But leaving that aside, Control was simply fantastic! Definitely recommend reading this.

Doing the Happy Dance...I am sooo excited that Bromberg wrote Desi's story. We fell in LOVE with her in Control. She was the hot and very sassy dispatcher in the Everyday Heroes series and now she is back with her own book in the 1001 Dark Nights 3.5.

Yesss ladies this book is sooo Out-of-Control in the Hawtness meter!!! Better go grab that fire extinguisher for your kindle cuz it's about to combust!!! lol

Again this book is about Desi. She decides to take a Self Defense Class in her hometown. She strikes up a conversation with a guy she has never seen before in the waiting room and in pure Desi form, she was pretty sassy with him. She may have said a few things or two to him that she should have kept to herself. Annnddd poor Desi is about to find out who he really is when class starts!! lol

I gave Control 5 fan-dam-tastic Stars. Of course I would have loved more of the story because Bromberg is always a one click for me and I can not get enough of her stories!! Thanks for another amazing book K. Bromberg!!! xoxo

OH.EM.GEE!! I. WANT. MORE. I am so in love with Control. IT. WAS. EVERYTHING. K. Bromberg has done it again. I could not get enough of this book. I flew through the pages like a women possessed. Every word was just never enough. Control quickly cemented a place in my heart. I could not recommend reading this book enough. This is easily one of my best reads of 2018! Everything about this story, and its character's had me wanting more. One more page. One more kiss. One more emotion. It was raw, and consuming. I never wanted it to end. Desi and Renzor was perfect yet complicated. I loved that everything about them was messy and unconventional. Their chemistry absolutely blazed from the pages. While their vulnerability quickly stole your heart. I could have read about these characters for ages and it never have been enough. This is one emotional ride you don't want to miss out on!

Desi is hands down one of my favorite heroines. She was the perfect mess, and I could not get enough of her. Everything about her was unique and screamed independent. Her character was a total spit fire, with a head strong attitude. She gave as good as she got. With attitude and sass for days. I loved that Desi was not affraid to be vulnerable. She had this uncanny ability to be weak yet strong. You could easily see why she's perfect to give Renzor a run for his money.

"His lips coax me, brand me, warn me of the promise of what is to come when I already know without a doubt I’ll take whatever he is going to give me."

Renzor had my heart won from the start. He's one of those alphas you know is out for your heart. He had me hanging on his every word; and action. There was not enough pages to get get your fill of him. His character excluded confidence. While easily dominating your heart. Every word out of Renzors mouth either left you swooning or melting. I have met many alphas but none have left me feeling quit like Renzor did.

"His voice is right behind me—close, too close—and it’s not enough that I smell his shampoo and soap and his taste is still on my tongue. He’s owning my thoughts."

Well earned for one of the best police romances I have read. 5 stars will never feel like enough for this story it deserves atleast 10. Desi and Renzor will haunt your mind long after the story ends.

I loved Desi from the little bit we saw of her in the other Everyday Heroes books, so I was super excited that K. Bromberg gave her a novella.

Desi is spunky and has a fierce attitude! She is definitely someone I would want on my side. She is the type of person who needs control in her life, but unfortunately, her security and control was stolen from her by a random stranger in her own home. Now, she now lives in a constant state of fear and doubt. At the urging of her best friend's husband, Officer Grant Malone (Cuffed), she decides to attend a self-defense class.

SWAT officer Reznor Mayne has experienced a lot of things on the job. Things that haunt him. Things that keep him from getting married and having kids for fear that each call could be his last. After his last call went horribly wrong, he needed to take time off to clear his head. That is how he ended up in Sunnyville teaching a self-defense class. As it goes, things don't always go as planned.
That is especially true when he meets his sassy new student who knocks him off his feet.

Desi and Reznor seemed to have an instant connection filled with a load of sexual tension. I loved seeing Desi's vulnerable side. I also loved how Reznor found ways to care for her which ultimately penetrated the walls she has built around herself. I loved how Desi and Reznor fit one another like a missing puzzle piece.

K. Bromberg did an amazing job developing the storyline and the characters in this sweet, sexy novella!

Reznor Mayne is a Team Leader of a S.W.A.T. team in San Francisco. After 15 years, he is burned out and needs a change of scenery and some down time. He travels to Sunnyville to get away and agrees to teach a self-defense class for women during his time off.

Desi Whitman is a dog groomer/dog sitter. She’s a strong woman who doesn’t do relationships and doesn't let anyone get close. After a scary situation, Desi enrolls in a self-defense class, hoping to get a sense of normalcy back.

When Desi and Reznor meet, the attraction is mutual but Desi isn’t interested (at least that is what she keeps telling herself). Reznor wants to pursue their attraction. Desi wants to keep him at arms-length. It’s all about Control. Can Reznor break down her defenses and prove to her he’s worth giving up control for?

Control is "Classic" K. Bromberg. This story has all the feels. It's funny, witty, and the chemistry between Desi and Reznor is combustible.

This is K Bromberg at her best! The Swoon, the sizzle and a storyline that has you captivated from the very first page and wanting it to never end.
“Hello to you, Mister A-Little-Rugged-And-Whole-Lot-Sexy.”
Reznor Mayne has Desi Whitman all hot and bother and tied up in knots. Their story will have you a little tingly or a lot and most definitely squirming in your seat.
As a fill self defence instructor/S.W.A.T commander Reznor is hot as hell and so so swoon worthy. Questioning everything about his job he moves to Sunnyville for a temporary gig as a self defence instructor.
Desi is the hard as nails, good with the one liners, owner of her dog grooming business. She calls it likes she sees it and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. That is until everything changes for her and she finds herself vulnerable and frighten.
When these two get together the sexual tension is so overwhelming, but the denials that each of them have may just push them apart.
A well written novella that packs a punch. K Bromberg puts all the flutter, the swoon, and the sag that she is renowned for in this book. It is engaging and entertaining with relatable characters that you can easily connect with. It was an absolute pleasure to read this book.

Timing is everything!

Reznor Mayne has been commander of one of SFPD's SWAT teams for the past fifteen years. Sadly there was a multiple fatality incident that happened and it has made him question his decisions that day. He requests some time off. It's either that or quit. So his commanding officer helps him secure a small gig in Sunnyvale California teaching a self defense class. Coincidentally, it just so happens he runs into his old friend from the Police Academy, Grant Malone, here in Sunnyvale.

Desi Whitman owns and operates a pet grooming company in Sunnyvale by the name of Doggie Style. She's also best friends with Emmerson Malone, Grant Malone's wife. Desi recently had a very frightening experience waking up in the middle of the night and finding a strange masked man standing over her while she slept. Thankfully he ran off. Also thankfully he didn't hurt her. The incident has left her traumatized though. Grant and Emmerson have both encouraged her to go to the self defense classes offered by Sunnyvale Self Defense. So after jumping at any sound, being on constant edge and many sleepless nights for a few weeks she signs up for a class in self defense.

Hence, Reznor and Desi are destined to meet and when they do sparks fly...some good, some intriguing. Desi likes to hide herself behind her tough girl, sassy and humorous self. Reznor is all types of intrigued by her but he also sees beneath her disguise. The sexual tension between them is immediately intense. However Desi is hesitant and questions if somehow what happened to her was brought on by her own actions.

Both fighting their demons and fighting their attraction to each other, because neither of them thinks they are the settling down type, they find they just can't stay away from each other. The sexual tension in this book is off the charts hot with these two. I hope you pick up a copy for yourself and enjoy their story as much as I have.

K. Bromberg has written another 5 star book with all the emotions that will pull you every which way but down! Reznor Mayne is all the hotness that you would expect of a S.W.A.T. officer. Desi Whitman is a strong willed woman who doesn't need a man to complete her life. Tragic situations in their lives lead to their paths crossing in a self defense class. The immediate sparks and sexual tension between them have them second guessing if they ever had CONTROL of their lives.

If you have read the Everyday Heroes series then Desi will be familiar to you as Emerson’s best friend, if you haven’t begun the series yet this can be read as a stand alone too.

Reznor is on leave from his job as a SWAT officer after a recent operation messed with him so much that he is questioning if he still wants this career. Spending some time away in the quiet town of Sunnyville, helping out at some self defence classes, is just what he needs to regather his thoughts and think about his future. When his path crossses with Desi, he is immediately drawn to this fiery and opinionated woman.

‘Maybe it’s none of your business.’ Oh there she is. Defiant. Fearless. Stubborn. ‘I don’t need a hero swooping in to save the day.’ My chuckle is raw and real. ‘I’m far from a hero, but I’d try to nonetheless.’

When Reznor discovers she is his new neighbour it’s like fate has brought them together. Reznor has a habit of distancing himself from anything that resembles a relationship commitment because of the risks he takes every day in his job. However, some hot, harmless fun with Desi, while he is on leave, could be just what he needs.

‘I’m not a man who falls for a woman, but hell if she’s not tripping up my feet so I do.’

Desi feels the immediate attraction between her and Reznor but is fighting it as her body betrays what her mind is telling her to do. One night stands is all she is interested in when it comes to sex and sleeping with her neighbour would make things a bit awkward for them both. Desi likes to keep to herself, doesn’t let people in and seems determined to deny herself the happiness of a permanent relationship. It’s the only way she can protect herself from getting hurt. The more time they spend together, Desi begins to think that maybe she could be open to more than one night.

‘And all I want to do is step into his arms and let him comfort me. But that’s a scary thought for me. Needing him. Wanting to need him.’

I loved the slow burn between these two, there was intense foreplay happening pretty much from the moment they first met. These two commitment phobes are about to discover what it feels like to fall. One will learn to give up control and the other will take control…

"Everyone has a story to tell..." and Desi and Reznor's stories meshed together perfectly.

A novella packed full of "flutter, swoon, and sagging", that has the reader rooting for these two characters from the very beginning. Desi has to learn how to let her guard down enough to let someone in and overcome her fear of relationships. "You're only pushing me away because you know it's good--we're good--and you're afraid you're only going to like it more." -Reznor. "At one point my job was all I needed. But is that still all I need, or am I craving something more? Something else to give me that rush?" -Raznor. Reznor has to find a new kind of "rush" in life, and that just so happens to come in a feisty, sexy package. Some woman are worth the trouble and Desi proves to be just that for Reznor.

As most novellas go, they are too short, but I felt as if this novella lacked in nothing. There was intrigue, a great plot, character depth, lots of emotion, love, and a HEA. Oh and there were plenty of *fan yourself* moments that will have you hot under the collar.

If you read K.Bromberg's EVERYDAY HEROES series, then you would have met Desi in CUFFED and if you are like me, then you were intrigued with her story. I am SO happy that Kristy took the time to give us her story in this novella.

**This is considered to be a standalone, so you do NOT have to have read the EVERYDAY HEROES series to read this book. Of course, I would recommend checking out the series because I love Kristy's writing *wink*

"That you don't trust me to show you just how good I am with something wet and groomed."
And with that parting comment, I flash her a lightning-quick grin before heading to my side of the fence, while she grumbles and curses me out under her breath.

AMAZING!!

Kristy Bromberg delivers again with the slow burn. When Desi meets Mr. A-Little-Rugged-And-Whole-Lot-Sexy, things in Sunnyville get a whole lot brighter. Reznor is the perfect mix of iresistable charm with a whole lot of SWAT hotness. The banter between these two was so well written and was a key factor in Reznor's mission to bring Desi back to herself.... after all humour is the way to a girls heart. Enjoy!

Holy SWOON! The Man, the myth, the Legend, that is Reznor Mayne will have you swooning so freaking hard. I needed a fan to finish! Hot. Sexy. Swoony. All the things that makes a woman fall to her knees. He has them all and then some. Desi has a hard shell to crack but Reznor is a determined man and did I say he’s all the things? I loved this story. It’s a novella but still packs the punch of a full length novel.

Desi and Reznor's story truly was all about Control, and for such a little novella it packed quite a punch! Control was the perfect addition to one of my all time fav series, Everyday heroes: heart-touchingly emotional, raw and oh so ÜBER SEXY!

Everyday Heroes is indeed one of my all time fav series, and every since Desi showed up in the first books as Em's bff, I've been dying to find out more about the funny, flirty and outspoken pet groomer. Well, my wishes were fulfilled with this book, and I couldn't be happier to find out all about Desi, and see her get her very own HEA.

HEA in the shape of SWAT officer, Reznor, a teamleader that is in dire need of a break after a terribly gone wrong task. Fate took him to Sunnyville and put him in direct path with the sassy Desi, that was hidden a problem of her own, stealing from her usually easy going personality, but still managing to completely captivate Rez, from the very first meeting. Rez was just the right man for Desi, in every way!

Incredibly sexy banter, a lot of push and pull - this woman really made him work for it! - and some of the most scorchingly hot sexual tension filled moments, and plenty of sizzling encounters, I've ever read! These two were explosive together! I loved Desi from the very first appearance, but man, Reznor - how sexy is that name, btw?! - really surprised me in the best of ways, and boy oh boy, did the smoking HOT SWAT leave an impression! Can someone say Alpha with a capital A???!!!! Swoon!

Ms. Bromberg truly gave us her usual stamp of superb writing and story telling, even in this compact format. Another huge gift was seeing two of my fav characters, Grant and Em, of the series, and getting a bit more of a glimpse into their HEA. Sigh...

Control was undeniably heart-pulling, witty and sensually charged! As always, and stamp for this 1001 Dark Nights, very much like Scheherazade, I was left craving more and more of Desi and Rez! Fingers crossed we will see more of them in future KB books! <3 <3 <3 <3

Control is K. Bromberg's newest novella in the Everyday Heroes series. I love this series and I was very excited to hear that Desi was getting her own story. She's Emerson's best friend and I loved her in the previous books. She's fun, flirty, and crazy, in good way. But she's being haunted by the past. Scared and looking over her shoulder and she hates it. She signs up to take a self-defense class and the teacher is a tall, dark and handsome SWAT commander in town for a few weeks. Desi can't help the attraction to the sexy man, but she's not looking for a one night stand or a long term relationship. Reznor is living with own ghosts and being in this town might be the answer he's looking for. Especially after meeting the sexy, beautiful and mouthy Desi. Who is also his new neighbor. What are the odds? The attraction between Rez and Desi is off the charts and Reznor knows what he wants. Desi. But she's going to fight him every step of the way. Will Reznor and Desi be able to let go of their pasts and enjoy their time together? I loved this story. It's hot, short and steamy! Reznor and his sexiness, his deep chuckle and his knowing eyes. Desi and her strength, beauty and ability to keep her head high. I loved that Reznor was pursing her, honest with his feelings and she was the one running. He wasn't going to let her get away, no matter what!

Jesus, take the wheel, because if I'm the one steering it, I'm going to drive right up on that stick shift and see how good he can change gears.

"Hell, Desi, just hold tight, sweetheart, because that means the second time is going to be mind-blowing."

This girl, I've never had to fight this hard for someone, but somehow, I know this fight is worth something. God, I want her…She'll be back. Let's hope I'm right.

5 star must read!!!!

I received an ARC for K. Bromberg’s Control. Control is a novella from the Everyday Hero’s series. It’s Desi’s story, Emerson’s best friend. I absolutely love Desi’s spunk, I think she’s my favorite heroine in this series!

I loved this book but it was too short, but then again I feel this way about book from Kristy. I didn’t want the book to end but that’s nothing new when you read a good book. Both Desi and Rez have demons they are trying to rid from their mind and both are not interested in that happily ever after that most people are searching for. Desi doesn’t do relationships, she bails the minute things get too comfortable. Rez is married to his job as the leader of a SWAT team, he doesn’t have time for relationships and doesn’t want a wife and a family on his mind while he’s in a complicated dangerous place at work and cause someone or himself to get hurt or worse killed. They should be perfect for each other right? That fact scares Desi and she puts up her defenses to keep him out.

The story was amazing. Kristy did a good job at keeping you interested in the story line. It was impossible to put the book down, so impossible that I finished it in a matter of hours. The book is part of a series but it’s a standalone book meaning you don’t have to read any other books in the series first, you can jump right in. If Kristy is a new author to you, I highly recommend picking up this book for a sneak peak into her writing. She is one of my favorite authors and I have loved every single one of her books she’s written.

Desi gets her story! I am a huge fan of the Everyday Heroes series. When we first read about the sexy Officer Grant Malone, we were also introduced to Desi. The firecracker that had you cracking up with her wild free antics. With Control, her whole life is turned upside down and we meet a new and subdued Desi that broke my heart.

When Mr. Hottie himself, Reznor, comes into the picture, you felt the insta connection that these two characters had for each other. Desi reminded me of a skittish cat every time she was near Reznor. My weakness is a man in a uniform, but a SWAT commander, my knees were shaking! I laughed so hard with the haunted house scene, and was swooning after. Control has the heat level on overload! I loved the story and the characters. I was glued to the book and reveled in all the emotions Control gave me. I definitely say this is another book you need to read from K. Bromberg!

Here we have the story of Desi, and I must say that after reading Cuffed, I was more than ready to hear more about the heroine's best friend in that story. So when I found out I knew there was a novel coming up, I could not wait to read it - and it was not disappointing. Desi suffered a traumatic event that made her take self defense classes and Ali she met the San Francisco Swat team officer who for a change of scenery is in her small town teaching defense class for women, her life is about to change.

I loved these Two, and although the story was short I think it served the purpose. I really enjoyed seeing a more vulnerable side of Desi here not only by the event they passed, but also being afraid of being vulnerable and falling in love.And for this job there was nobody better than Rez, who knew who he wanted and didn't let her hide. I really liked the dynamics between those two.

In control author K. Bromberg the author brings to her readers a short, sweet and sexy storyline ready to entertain her readers with engaging characters and a quick and sexy story to read.

Author K. Bromberg delivered and left me breathless with her words and characters. I lost control of my heart on the very first page and still many hours after, Reznor's still in control of it!

I need a reread already! Reznor has managed to secure a top spot as one of my top rank book boyfriends of ALL time! #ControlMeReznor
