If he had a castle with a secret passage, he’d probably tell everybody and make it just a regular passage.
This comic had a decent plot line that follows the adventures of Dr. Frankenstein and Jekyll who are trying to find Jekyll’s daughter, Amanda. But the twist in this comic is Dr. Frankenstein’s robots that have taken Amanda and now they both must try and regain control of the robots while finding her. Now I am new to reading comic books and this comic makes me want to give it another chance. This was something I really enjoyed, the illustrations in this book are very well done and very detailed. There is not much need for as much wording in the comic as there is since the illustrations are so well done. During the comic while the robots have found Dr Frankenstein and Jekyll, Dr. Frankenstein shoots Jekyll with a solution that changes him into a massive monster which was very unexpected change. This was awesome to see the transformation in the story. The only issue that I have with this comic is the point where Jekyll leaves Dr. Frankenstein with the robots since he has his daughter. This has been seen in many different stories, movies, comics etc. This always ends the same, the one who was saved always talks to the person who saved them and talk them into saving the person who was left. I was a good idea in theory but there should have been a different ending in this part of the story. When Dr. Frankenstein was left with the robots, I already knew how this was going to end before I even turned the page. Other than that, I would highly recommend this comic to anyone, this comic was very action packed and there was never a dull moment in the story. I didn’t know what I was going to get into when I purchased this comic, but I am very happy I did, and I can’t wait to read the next stories in the comic book.
I read this comic book this past week after getting it recommended by a friend. This is such a great read from the dialog to how good the graphics were. In this book, there are four mini-stories. My personal favorite story was the Baba Yaga one just because all the graphics were amazing and I felt most attached to what was going on in the story. I really enjoyed the graphics of the 3 witches fighting Baba Yaga thinking that they would win. The storyline was very good and very easy to read. The one that I believed was the "worst one" which wasn't bad it just wasn't as good as the rest would have been the sunken treachery just because it was super awkward to read and some of the events that happened, I saw coming. But overall this book is a top pick of mine and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes mystery fictional books. I will definitly be giving this book to my younger brother who likes these types of books. If you do want to buy it, here is the link for the book on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Monstrous-Path...
Overall I thought the book had a great storyline and was quite interesting although not usually my type of reading I did find a lot of joy while reading this book. The pictures were great and really easy to understand.
This new comic Mad Dash has just done that, dashed to the shelves. Don’t miss out on a good read. This comic has a great plot line it follows the mysterious adventures of Dr.Frankenstein and Jekyll hunting down for Jekyll's daughter. Dr.frankenstein is a creator of the robots and is trying to regain control of them which brings in Jerkyll looking for his daughter and who do you think the robots upduct… The story is fast, action-filled, and intriguing. The illustration in this book is great. The words go hand in hand with the images. This story Mad Dash is very detailed just as the pictures. The artist did an excellent job bringing the story to life. Gregory and Ken created a comic where you don’t for say need words, to know what the story is saying because there is so much detail in the vivid and clear pictures they fill In the words for you. This book is full of action and un-hinged surprises if you don’t believe me read and look for yourself. I've never read any of the other books and I dove right in and I did not know any background information and I was still able to enjoy the story because you didn’t need to know the backbone of the story. Monstrous is an exciting and action filled comic. The plot line is unlike many others don’t believe me read it and find out.
