Love, love, love romance, the paranormal, hunky Highlanders with their delicious brogue and hot kilts, so Terry Spear writes about those hunky Highlanders both in medieval times and as wolves in contemporary times. Jaguar shifters too! And young adult urban fantasy. And romantic suspense.
She grew up reading mystery, adventure, mythologies from around the world, ghost stories, the paranormal, fell in love with Dracula and Wolfman, and felt they needed loving too. Everyone should have someone to love. Which means her stories always have a HEA.
USA Today Bestseller residing in Central Texas from Sacramento, California who creates award-winning teddy bears too!
So disappointing. The author should have stopped with the previous book in this series. So much repetition, the sex scenes read like "cut & paste' from previous books, some of the plot was just absurd. The two main characters are so concerned about the situation and know they need to plan..., but then they need to screw first. As if.... And the ending so swift and neat. All nicely tucked in. What a waste of my time.
Enjoyable story but was repetitive at times and drug at others...
I really enjoyed this story. I have read other Terry Spear highlander stories and found this one little subpar compared to the others I've read of hers. I liked the storyline. I enjoyed the characters. I however found some things repetitive and other things overly described or explained. I also found it dragged on in some areas and I hate to keep reading. I know Ms Spears has done better, so I'm not sure what happened with this book. All that being said, I did enjoy the book for the most part but didn't feel comfortable giving it greater than 3 stars. It almost seemed like this was a novella that had to have a bunch of stuff added to make it longer. I will continuectobread and buy her books and recommend me spears'books to those who enjoy highlander stories or paranormal. I hope this book wasa fluke as far as the quality and hope I don't find sanctions issues in future books I read of Ms Spears.
