This is one of my favorite movies so I love this book. It had extra scenes in it that I wished were in the movie. It was easy to picture the hero since I could close my eyes and see the beautiful face and features of Michael Vartan. Yum!

This is a fun, fast read.

Another reviewer said it best. This book really is just a retelling of the film version and there is not anything that differs, not even a little. As a result I did not en joy it that much because I'd already seen the movie (which I loved) but the book is a replica of the movie so it didn't do anything for me.

I had thought I was getting an actuat original book that might differ a bit. I mean the movie was terribly painful but so heart warming and I just loved it.

Being just basically, word for word what the movie is AND not having the greatness of Drew Barrymore in it, the book read sort of blandly. I really think the material is way better as a movie then as a book. Just my opinion but there is not hing here that differs so I wasn't wild about it.

This book is adorable. It's almost word for word from the movie, which normally would be fine, but I was hoping for a little extra inner thoughts or additional expansion of the characters. It was still very cute and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quick, light hearted read. I even teared up at the end.

I read this book after seeing the movie adaptation of it.
I really thought the movie was a cute coming of age in romance story.
I read the book soon after. However I was disappointed to find the book to be almost or identical to the dialogue from the film. This is the reason I gave it 3 stars and haven't read it since. I have watched the film over and over.
However if you haven't seen the film or have and want to read it anyway it is a fast quick satisfying read of a 30 year old geek coming into her own and finding the romance she always desired.

This is a total high school coming of age story that I absolutely loved. I could totally picture the high school scene and how people treat each other. Now, being way out of high school, there is NO way I would ever want to go back.

Reads about the length of a movie (without distractions). Cute, but had some annoying moments that felt more like cheap shots for easy laughs. I live for the Sam moments though... ^_^

I went into this thinking it was a book the movie was based off of, not a book that was based off of a screenplay so I was a little disappointed.
