Aaron Smith is a husband and father who has always had a passion for sharing the gospel with the world. After getting married in 2007 to Jennifer Smith ( Unveiled Wife ), he and his wife became missionaries in Africa. Throughout the first four and a half years of marriage he and his wife experienced many struggles but found restoration through the grace of God, and out of those trials was birthed an on-line marriage ministry (HusbandRevolution.com). His heart now is directed towards encouraging husbands in their walks with Christ and their marriage. His hope is to see a revival in the hearts of husbands around the world. He believes that if husbands would humble themselves and turn toward God that marriages would be saved and the message of Christ would be advanced greater than ever before.

A Powerful Blessing for Every Mother with a Son

This is my third time purchasing this book, and that alone says everything. Not only have I bought it for myself multiple times, but I’ve also gifted it to friends who have sons because it’s just that meaningful. I have 2 paperback copies and I have it in my kindle.

This book is more than words on a page—it’s a daily guide that helps me intentionally pray over my son’s life, his future, his character, and his walk with God. Each prayer feels heartfelt, powerful, and right on time. It gives me peace knowing I’m covering my child spiritually, even on days when I don’t always have the right words myself.

What I love most is how simple yet deep it is. It doesn’t feel overwhelming—it feels personal, comforting, and aligned with what a mother truly desires for her son.

If you’re a parent who believes in the power of prayer, this is a must-have. And honestly, it makes a beautiful and meaningful gift too. I’ll probably continue buying this book again and again.

I like this prayer devotional because each day focuses on a scripture and one very focused aspect of their life to pray about. Prayer is something I could always use more help focusing on and this helps me connect with my hopes for my kids. My only complaint of the series is that there are about 4 sexist entries. I didn't notice at first because I did 31 Prayers for My Daughter first. I only noticed when I wanted to compare my prayers for all my kids when I filled one in for each. The instances of gender disparity: daughters don't have a day focused on "courage," they only get "encourager." Daughters have prayers for "her beauty" and "embracing modesty" while sons have "integrity" and "hard working." The book still gets high marks because 28 of the days of prayer are for excellent for son or daughter.

Perfect timing

I came across this book at a time my wife and I were struggling to.adapt at the idea our son wasn't out little bit anymore. We were concerned about decisions he was making new friends he was making and felt like we were losing control. This 31prayers expressed perfectly what was in our hearts. We already believed in giving our concerns, triumphs, and thoughts over to the Lord so we found there prayers very useful.
