Aaron Smith is a husband and father who has always had a passion for sharing the gospel with the world. After getting married in 2007 to Jennifer Smith ( Unveiled Wife ), he and his wife became missionaries in Africa. Throughout the first four and a half years of marriage he and his wife experienced many struggles but found restoration through the grace of God, and out of those trials was birthed an on-line marriage ministry (HusbandRevolution.com). His heart now is directed towards encouraging husbands in their walks with Christ and their marriage. His hope is to see a revival in the hearts of husbands around the world. He believes that if husbands would humble themselves and turn toward God that marriages would be saved and the message of Christ would be advanced greater than ever before.
I heard about this book from Aaron and Jennifer Smith on their podcast “Marriage After God.” I had already committed since this past November to pray for my children every day, and had been doing so since then. I saw this as an opportunity to encourage and inspire me to continue in the habit.
I think this is a good book for trying to establish and inspire the habit of being faithful in prayer for your children.
I loved this books and all areas it touched for prayers. Even for situations I haven't thought about as a new mom. I will always go back yo this book and use it as a prayer guide.
I love all of the Smith's prayer guides. Like the one "for my wife," I use this one daily to help guide my prayer time for each of my girls. Each prayer is shaped by scripture, specific, and helpful for jumpstarting your prayer time for your daughter(s). Of course, there is a version for sons that I will assume is just as good.
