LaToya is doing everything she can to be the kind of stepmother Little J needs, but he’s not making it easy for her. His mistrust of women, specifically ‘mommy figures’, is on full display. She turns to her pastor to help her through these challenging times. With a new family, work obligations, pressure to be a good wife, and her church commitments, life feels chaotic. How will she ever gain focus and have the life she’s always wanted when it feels like everyone is conspiring against her and her best efforts? Will God intervene on behalf for her? See what drama unfolds in God and the Blended Family!
I know the new thing is for writers to break their books up into parts. But really this is sad. This business of shortenly one book and breaking up into many parts and stopping each part with a cliff hanger. Is this a mechanism for making more Kindle sales by breaking the book up like that? I wonder.
Storyline is fine, almost relatable for a Christian family that goes through everyday challenges. Would recommend it for people facing challenges in their marriages with blended families. But only if one is not irritated by the many parts.
I am anxious to see what will happen next. This is a pretty good book. The extra spaces really needs to be eliminated. There is way too many spaces. The book is actually shorter than it appears. I do recommend this book. Time for book #3. Be Bless!
I really enjoyed this book but was caught off guard when the last page showed up and I was in flight and not able to purchase or download the next book. I honestly didn't realize it was a series at first.
Book 1and Book 2 could have been combined into one. The story line moved along in a rather predictable fashion. I enjoyed the additional details and added characters. The ending still makes me ready to read the next book.
I knew it was too good to be true. When things are starting to work out the devil always tries to rearrange things. This is quite interesting to see what happens next.
