Over 35,000 copies already distributed! This book is filled with incredible true stories of modern day miracles coupled with powerful insights and life-changing prayers. You will journey with the author as his faith in miracles is restored. Along his surprising path, he connects with other ordinary people who the Holy Spirit uses in extraordinary ways. It will strengthen your faith and provoke you to reach higher for miracles in your own life.
Not the stories of many people, as the title implies, but of the author’s experiences in his Christian life. He focuses on seven instances where God healed people of disease and impairment, or answered prayers that brought healing and empowerment—in some cases, when he prayed in obedience to the Holy Spirit, and others when he was the recipient of prayer. Overall, an encouraging little book, though it meanders.
I gave this a three star due to the information other than the miracles aspect of the book, otherwise I would have given it a one. I have been looking for first hand evidence of a miracle performed by someone for many years and not yet found any concrete evidence. Her this book talks about performing miracles like it is so natural and available to anyone, to both give and receive miracles, through the power of God of course. For instance; a blind man comes along and is instantly given his sight. Another instance; while preaching to an audience of over a thousand, a hundred people are cured from their afflictions, from broken bones to cancers, instantly. I believe in the miracles performed by Christ, and by his disciples. I believe that God can perform miracles through humans. I believe all that the Bible teaches us about miracles. I just can't believe the incredible healing this book claims. For such a vast array of miracles to happen, as claimed in this book, why isn't it world news? Why can't these people document their work on an impartial TV network for all to see? I've watched the short video on the author's website of a miracle, not very convincing.
Speaks to our lives today and how Jesus is here now, blessing us, healing us and performing miracles through his faithful believers NOW, just as he did in the days of the Bible. The author challenges us to boldly declare our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, asking the Holy Spirit to transform our words into those that would touch the hearts and souls of people we come into contact with, so that they, too, may hear and receive the salvation offered by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I had a lot of books in my Kindle library that are pending and for some reason picked this one during a time of real financial challenge even though the title has nothing to do with finance. I'm so glad I did because 5 minutes into the book I realized, first, I've been praying all wrong!...and second, I've been praying all wrong!! One assurance and conviction that came with that realization though is that God loves me and He will not deny me anything I ask in line with His will.
This is a book that I love I have read the stories and have been touched by the amazing grace of our Lord Jesus Christ . It fills me with more love than you know ,to know that our Lord is so great and wonderful and we have such a gracious God . I thank Jesus for the man who wrote this. I am in awe of your stories and I pray that you will have more. This book is a true blessing. Thank you for sharing these amazing stories.
I found this non-fiction book very interesting. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. If you are spirit filled or have been thinking about and would like to know more, this book may be for you. This writer gives examples how being spirit filled has worked in his life and some miracles surrounding that. He also gives examples of prayers you could say.
Very moving and encouraging message. I love how scripture is used to reinforce the message and how he reminds us that any message God gives us will be backed up by scripture so we do t have to wonder if the message is truly from God we will know for sure if it's backed up by scripture!!
This book came into my life in an amazingly timely manner. Hopelessness and despair of my untenable living situation has left me questioning where God is. Has He forgotten me? Has He lost all feeling and concern for me? I have found a whisper of hope while reading this book.
This is a great read. It will teach you to be bold in the Lord, for His glory, that He lives each and every one of us. His power isnt for just the special few, its for all those who come thirsty and hungry for His presence. Highly recommend reading this book, it has really helped me.
Almost didn’t finish this book seemed more doctrines and theology at first. Instead of stories of miracles. End the end it ended up being more of a documentary of one mans journey which is good showing that our Father isn’t a respecter of persons
I chose a five star rating because I felt the meaning of this book, as the author intended, was achieved ! Good communication and well written. I would recommend this book for adults. Truly inspiring !
I enjoyed this book. Modern stories of miracles are very Interesting to me. The author was very humble & admitted not knowing exactly how they work. He gives the glory to Jesus.
This book was a good read! It helped me to see that God is truly still working miracles if only we would believe. It was very encouraging and let me see that God can work through and in ordinary people like me!
The author chronicle d several examples i If God's intervention into his life as well as other people;.however, the accounts although exciting to the author were somewhat full and boring for the reader.
The inspirational stories backed by the Word of God was very encouraging! I needed to be encouraged about miracles because I need one! I know God is a healer! I trust HIM!
Incredible story of the many ways Our God uses the blessed Trinity to impact lives personally, nationally and internationally. A blessing to anyone who reads this book is guaranteed.
If you are open to the idea that God still does miracles then you will enjoy this short read. The author writes from his own experiences and those of friends in the ministry who have seen miracles happen.
This was a little different than what I thought it would be. I was thinking Chicken Soup for the Soul type book but it was more than that. I can’t really explain but it did keep me engaged in reading it. When a book does that then I know it’s a great book.
It was a series of God stories, which I often enjoy. But these were mostly the sole faith stories of the author. I find more connections with stories that vary in experience or relationships with the readers.
I liked that the author explored his own doubts and difficulties, so we can relate and not give up. His information is recalled at the chapter end, with a prayer to help you reach deeper to understand and believe.
