⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The Controversial Princess, book 1 of 2. Utter perfection! On the surface it sounds like Hollywood meets British royalty, but that is just scratching the surface on everything that is Josh Jameson & his princess!

Battle of Wills between Claringdon Palace and Kellington Palace
A scintillating journey that scales the high & mighty walls of the castles and palaces, diving in deep to peep into the lives of Kings & Queens, Heirs & Heiresses. Their shams of marriages, forced alliances & Crown allegiances, with statutory Ostrich-ian, burying head in the sand and not reading the writing on the thick stone walls!!! If only these walls could talk, Oh the stories we would have😮
“No one can challenge the Monarchy when it comes to their public image . The smokescreen is too thick to penetrate.”
My old man is a stickler for tradition, values, and rules. Antiquated rules, and frankly, unreasonable rules. The modern age apparently bypasses kings and queens.
Even as the modernities are creeping forward and trying to push the boundaries of crusty outdated traditions, egos clash, heated words are exchanged, heads roll. The atmosphere becomes stuffy. Which leads me to believe that the fairytales we grew up on, where the Princess gets her HEA with her Prince, maybe the biggest sham of a Love Story ever to be propagated. What happens when the Princess doesn't like the Prince? Does she get to choose differently ? What if the Dragon was protecting her from the Prince? The entire Royalty is hiding behind the Smoke & Mirrors of projected Unity, merely to strengthen the Crown. What a crock, since we've forever associated Prince & Princesses with true love !
Our family’s first marriage is to the throne, not our spouse, and rarely our heart. Happiness is only an illusion.
While behind this dark veil hides common problems. Homosexuality, Blue Blood Snobbery, Class divide, Debauchery, Deceptions, Manipulations and Arm Twisting . All this is a BIG FRAUD, to keep the fairytale alive.
They are a bunch of frauds. The whole bloody family is an institution of frauds.
Just to reach out within the family you have to go through the stiff as board protocol !!
It’s utterly ridiculous for my mother’s private secretary to call my private secretary. Why can’t my mother simply call me?
Jodi has managed to outshine even her previous books in the sense that though the base of the story is still True Love, it's forbidden and Tabboo, which has been written with such honesty and finality, it just shows her growth as a writer. She's breaking boundaries and her bravery is gaining strength. She is NOT a one series wonder which is rampant in Erotica. She's picking up new themes and topics and redefining Forbidden trope with her mighty pen. The BEST thing I loved was, the realistic mood she created. It's claustrophobic! I could feel the thick air choking me, wanted to shake the living dead Royalty by the shoulders, to open their eyes. But some things are set in stone and the frustration Jodi manages to generate in the readers is a testament to how true and alive her writing is.
She creates a Royal family “His Royal Highness King Alfred of England.”
Prince John Lockhart, is the saint of the King’s three offspring.
The arse-licker. The Heir Apparent, and the perfect prince.
Then is Prince Edward Lockhart. A party animal and soldier in the Royal Army
Then there's the Rogue Princess Adeline Catharine Luisa Lockhart. Rumour has it that she's the UNRULIEST ROYAL that's ever lived. Beautiful, sexy, flirtatious and fun loving woman who's feeling stifled in the stuffy Royal family. She finds her sneaky ways to have fun though. Damon keeps guard over her and Felix fixes and cleans up her messes, which are many.
Her life mate already chosen, she's been assigned her usual Princess-ish tasks of attending Charity Functions, answer correspondence, keep up appearances, till she marries the suitably provided Blue Blooded Match and goes to produce offsprings. All this while killing her heart, her dreams her passions. I say I'd never trade places with a Princess if this is their everyday existence !!!
A scene so touched me early on in the story. Adeline does a walkabout to meet the supporters lined up to meet her and she is talking to a young girl of 6 . They have a barricade separating them. The picture Jodi draws, as to who is behind the bars and who's free brought tears to my eyes. Freedom is just an illusion and the most expensive commodity in the Royal Houses !!
So, Adeline meets Josh Jameson, ruggedly handsome & dangerously sexy Hollywood actor & Oscar winner, and it's instant sparks! She goes about her with her usual agenda of strictly fun, no strings attached, but his touch stirs awake dormant emotions in her. He somehow crashes through her uppity attitude and starchy demeanour and touches her heart !
He makes me feel good about me. He knows me without even really knowing me. He sees me. Not the painted princess. He sees me. The woman. The desire. The need to have a man tell me that this is how it’s going to be
Omg!! What has Jodi gone and done........or made Adeline and Josh done!! Their coupling is doomed from the first kiss. Their "relationship" already has a deadline before it has even taken faulty steps. The clouds of despondency and disconsolateness are threatening to cloak them and I was so resentful of the whole situation.
They weren't supposed to meet, kiss, fall in love. YET THEY DO !!
The sexual chemistry is off the Royal charts! Though their clandestine rendezvous, mere moments stolen to be together, require elaborate planning, But those stolen moments are steamy and flaming hot.
He skates his palms onto my arse and helps me forward until my entrance is lined perfectly with his mouth. “Your throne awaits, Your Highness.” 😮😮😮
I could be the Princess just to sit on JoshThrone ! Holy Smokes !! Or as the British would say Goodness gracious Me ! and he's a kinky bastard too..... I need a fan, a pink hanky and a crown !!
I'm so bummed, what's gonna happen to them, how can they fight against the Monarchy, the press, the political storm, cause it's going to be an International Incident of the Titanic proportions!!!!
AND. THE. END.......the MoFo End!! The hopelessness, the dejection, the setback was too much for me. I felt like I climbed the Everest and found out it wasn't! There's a whole mountain range to climb MORE to get to the Everest!!
I close my eyes and work hard on bringing myself back down to earth after my short time floating on clouds. You’re a princess first, Adeline. A woman second. Heart be damned.
I need the second book now Jodi, please, please, please find a way for them to be together !! I beg you...i can't take their heartache and anguish . I'm shaking my head No..No...No..No.
What a breathtaking build up of words and emotions, culminating in a climax so outrageous and melodramatic, it left me aghast. So build a tunnel, or cannon the walls, whatever it takes to get them together Jodi cause my heart is gasping it's last breaths in the Garden Maze !!

When I picked up my first Jodi Ellen Malpas book way back in June of 2013, I devoured the book. Now here we are 5 years later and I just finished reading The Controversial Princess. This book was written perfectly, flowed at a perfect pace and kept me engrossed from the first page until the last. You can see the maturity and growth that this author has gained in her writing talent with this book. I can not recommend this author’s books highly enough!!
Celebrating her 30th birthday, Princess Adeline is the royal family controversial child. Just wanting to be free and to do things she wants to do, live a life full of love instead of fake love. Trapped is what she feels like. Unable to get out from under the Kings demands, she finds herself in compromising situations. She has plenty of people under her to clear the Royal name when she is caught. Always getting caught though… One day though, she dreams of living life to the fullest with no threats of being punished for her behavior.
Josh Jameson is the Hollywood star. Currently in London with his father. The King and Josh’s father served in the military and have remained friends. Since in London, they were invited to come celebrate Princess Adeline’s birthday.
From that day in the maze, the Princess Adeline and Josh have been inseparable, living life to the fullest. At least the fullest possible when one is royalty. But when together, Adeline feels the way she has longed to feel. At Peace. In Love.

I just love Josh! He is good-looking, smart, playful, dirty-mouth, a bit kinky, the perfect Hollywood star with his Oscar and his fans and his perfect playboy reputation.
And I love Adeline of course! She is attractive, sharp-witted, playful, sassy, the perfect rebellious princess with her strict daddy and a patient fiance-to-be who has been waiting for years and years for her. She knows how to have a good time, but she cannot have a good time often because she is not allowed.
Yes, Jos and Adelaine will most certainly have fun together.

I can't even express how much I enjoyed The Controversial Princess!This is by far my favorite book from Jodi Ellen Malpas!It is an incredible mix of awesome characters,some plot twists and a forbidden,passionate and heavy romance.
Josh and Adeline have an amazing chemistry from the beginning!Josh is charming and dominant and Adeline is strong.I love their passion and intensity!They have some really sensual,erotic and hot moments together!
So many things happening in this story.I like the plot, it was brilliant!I'm intrigued,excited and anxious for the next book!The Controversial Princess was such a nice surprise, I didn't expect to like it so much!

I can't even express how much I enjoyed The Controversial Princess!This is by far my favorite book from Jodi Ellen Malpas!It is an incredible mix of awesome characters,some plot twists and a forbidden,passionate and heavy romance.
Josh and Adeline have an amazing chemistry from the beginning!Josh is charming and dominant and Adeline is strong.I love their passion and intensity!They have some really sensual,erotic and hot moments together!
So many things happening in this story.I like the plot, it was brilliant!I'm intrigued,excited and anxious for the next book!The Controversial Princess was such a nice surprise, I didn't expect to like it so much!

Wow!!! That was some ending!!! Some major reveals happened during the last 5% of the story! I was hooked before all of the explosive ending; but now I absolutely MUST read the second part right away!!! Thank goodness this duet of books are already out, or I would have been a mess having to wait!! Lol!
This is not the first time I have read this author’s work.. and one thing I have loved in her past stories was the intense all consuming love and passion her couples have for each other! I was pleasantly surprised to find that same intensity between Josh and Princess Adelaine in this story! I adored this forbidden couple and the sex between them is kinky and had major sizzle!!! I was actually not expecting the story to be as hot and erotic as it was... mainly because it had a Royal theme to it.... Boy was I wrong with that assumption!! Lol! I’m totally not complaining either!
I’m dying to begin the next book, so I must go and read! If you are looking for a more unique read that will keep you on your toes, then give this a try! It is more than worth it!!!

How does she do it? How can a person write such amazing books..All The Time!
For me, Jodi can do no wrong. For me, if you haven't read her books, you haven't lived my friend.
The Controversial Princess is simply put, a temptation. Every since word written by Jodi is heavy on romance, passion and angst.
I don't really really books based on Prince and Princesses unless:
1- it's a historical fiction based on real life events.
2- You are Jodi Ellen Malpas. I'd read anything this woman reads. She hasn't let me down.... Yet 😉
This book is brilliant...it's packed with two characters who's passion and chemistry is wild, sensual and forbidden.
The Controversial Princess will leave you breathless! I need book 2 like I need air to breathe.
NO SPOILERS except.. Josh will intoxicate you with his charm and Adeline will bring out the adventurous side in you. Together, they will ignite your rebellious desires of your heart.

The romance is hot, steamy and forbidden, the family dynamic is dysfunctional and thankfully I can dive straight into His True Queen after a bombshell of an ending.

Yeah, I’m in the minority on this one.
First off, the instalove was just too much for me. They literally only knew each other a few weeks before declaring their love. And the majority of their courtship was sex and not really getting to know each other.
And I really could’ve done without all the ridiculous alpha male, Christian Grey-esque behavior from the male hero.
I was literally salivating for this book and was let down. Like a lot.

This morning when I turned on the radio – the first song I heard was “Human” from Rag'n'Bone Man – and to be honest – it shocked me how well it fitted the book I just spend an allnighter with. When I finished my last read yesterday and went to check for my next book I noticed that I had a new arrival – I was gifted with “The Controversial Princess” (Smoke & Mirrors, #1) by Jodi Ellen Malpas and I thought why not directly start … Well I can tell you it was a good and a bad idea – the bad part being that it was a Sunday and I needed to work on Monday.
If there ever was a perfect time to release this book at the moment than Ms. Malpas sure found it.
But I am getting ahead of myself. ..
I love the books by this author since I read This Man when it was released several years back so it was no question that I would at least love her writing style. But I have to admit when I read the blurb of this book I wasn’t to sure if the plot was for me. I am not even sure if there ever has been a book like this – I doubt it.
On the other hand I usually do not read books with princesses and it is really only the unique way of writing that this author is able to get me to dive into a plot like that.
Also I am trying to remember when I first heard about the book if I knew that it would be a duet – or if that came up later – not that it would have mattered – because I also trust her to be one of the few authors that I will start a series without all books being released.
Well back to the issue of the music – so this song “human” really is the essence of this book for me. Adeline is such a contradiction. She knows what is expected of her – and she follows the rules ! … mostly ! …. Sometimes ? … well lets be honest … when she is forced to. Deep down I feel she would follow many of the rules if she had some room to breath but as this is always refused her reactions to that are only logical – rebellion in any way that is possible.
So when I heard that song on the radio – it felt like Adeline. Not sure if Ms. Malpas listens to music when she is writing but I could imagine this song to be an inspiration for the character.
Then there is Josh – I am not sure I can get a clear picture of him yet. And that is my only problem with this first part of the duet and the reason why I am at 4.5 Stars just now (I always reserve the right to change my mind when a series is complete).
So about Josh – The whole story is in the beginning basically Adeline’s struggle with life. And believe me it IS a struggle because I feel deeply sorry for her. So when Josh enters the story he is like a beacon,
he shouldn’t be there – yet he is,
she shouldn’t be interested – yet she is,
he shouldn't talk to her like that
and MOST definitely he shouldn’t touch her like that.
He is everything she can not have and maybe in the beginning that is the reason that he is all she wants.
As the story moves on Adeline gets more desperate by the minute her life is not only a cage - it becomes a prison, the walls are closing in on her and her few ways to escape are shut down one after the other – and her desperation feels very real.
Usually when I read books I am very connected to the male leads but in case of this book I felt truly connected to the Princess because even though Josh has a remarkable presence the plot doesn’t give the reader much of his intentions.
He felt like the calm right in the middle of the storm without giving away anything of himself to the reader and maybe that was on purpose because he was like a quiet source of strength – while I grew more and more desperate alongside of Adeline.
And while we are at that point – there are some very well written secondary characters in this plot – both in the good and bad way of the storyline. Believe me you are going to dislike some people very deeply. I know I did.
Oh and – yeah true to Ms. Malpas wicked sense of ?shall I call it humor? … she placed some cruel twists and turns you will not see coming – (well that’s not entirely true because if you read books from her you know what you are in for – so no mercy for us fans) … Yes you are a cruel cruel Woman Ms. Malpas and I mean that in the most loving way ever.
Because I am sitting here thinking about what I read and there really isn’t much that I can add to my review as that would add spoilers which I will under no circumstance give away.
My thoughts on book one : Just let me say. If you think you know the story – forget about it. There is nothing familiar about this plot. And I officially want to state – that “the Lord” now has a Highness at this side in the bookshelf and this women really bows to no one.
My hopes for book two : I want to see more of Josh to understand him better. And all the other things I hope for are too much of a spoiler so please just cross your fingers together with me because I know you will want the same things.

I loved this book, much more than I thought I would. The author has provided a dazzling read fit for a princess. The book as a whole felt very realistic as I read it... it didn't feel like I was reading this made up fantasy story set in this modern day world. I highly encourage you to check out The Controversial Princess. You'll be in for a beautiful story with darling characters and a lovely theme. The two main characters, Princess Adeline and American actor Josh Jameson, just captured my heart right from the beginning. This book was funny, sweet, sexy, high in angst and drama! Adeline and Josh are people whose love story you will want to read. 4.5 stars from me!

You know that feeling you get when you're reading an amazing book in the middle of the night? You look at the clock, then at the percentage left on your e-reader, and you have an internal struggle- wishing you could just finish the book already so you can finally get some sleep, but also not wanting to finish because it's OH SO GOOD? For me, that is The Controversial Princess. I'd even go as far as saying this is my favorite book of 2018 so far.
This book was so unexpectedly amazing. Other than seeing the cover, book description, and the Goodreads rating, I went into this blind. I'm not sure what I was expecting, I guess I thought it would to be an easy, fluffy, predictable, lighthearted romance. I certainly wasn't expecting the sharp turn into kink-town. Not that I'm complaining. As I'm always saying, get to the Good Stuff. And this book got there, and quick. WOW were there ever some steamy scenes. I've never read Jodi Ellen Malpas books before. Why have I never read her books before? Is this a typical level of heat for her? I will have to check out her catalogue to see because holy hell.
I also LOVED the characters. Josh was the perfect mix of alpha dominance and sweetness. Throughout the book he was steadfastly pursuing the heroine without wavering once, despite some serious complications with them being together. But Adaline was the real star of the show. She was such a well developed character. Her struggle to keep her impulsive, rebellious nature in control while living within the tight confines of her royal life was so believable. Her headstrong personality also gave a great source of friction when she meets Josh, and his very surprising....preferences. Her inner struggle reconciling her desire to please Josh and submit to him, with her desire for her freedom, something she fought for her whole life, is perfect and so real. More than once she's just like, "What the f*ck am I doing and why do I like it??!". Her journey to understanding and embracing that side of herself is believable and filled with some amazing angst.
The story goes in some unexpected places, avoiding the obvious (boring) choices and ends on a cliffhanger. I didn't realize this was a duet and now I'm dying to pick up where I left off...but I have to wait until AUGUST. I soooo hope it will be worth the wait and the second book will be just as amazing as the first.

For me, that is The Controversial Princess. I'd even go as far as saying this is my favorite book of 2018 so far.
This book was so unexpectedly amazing. Other than seeing the cover, book description, and the Goodreads rating, I went into this blind. I'm not sure what I was expecting, I guess I thought it would to be an easy, fluffy, predictable, lighthearted romance. I certainly wasn't expecting the sharp turn into kink-town. Not that I'm complaining. As I'm always saying, get to the Good Stuff. And this book got there, and quick. WOW were there ever some steamy scenes. I've never read Jodi Ellen Malpas books before. Why have I never read her books before? Is this a typical level of heat for her? I will have to check out her catalogue to see because holy hell.
I also LOVED the characters. Josh was the perfect mix of alpha dominance and sweetness. Throughout the book he was steadfastly pursuing the heroine without wavering once, despite some serious complications with them being together. But Adaline was the real star of the show. She was such a well developed character. Her struggle to keep her impulsive, rebellious nature in control while living within the tight confines of her royal life was so believable. Her headstrong personality also gave a great source of friction when she meets Josh, and his very surprising....preferences. Her inner struggle reconciling her desire to please Josh and submit to him, with her desire for her freedom, something she fought for her whole life, is perfect and so real. More than once she's just like, "What the f*ck am I doing and why do I like it??!". Her journey to understanding and embracing that side of herself is believable and filled with some amazing angst.
The story goes in some unexpected places, avoiding the obvious (boring) choices and ends on a cliffhanger. I didn't realize this was a duet and now I'm dying to pick up where I left off...but I have to wait until AUGUST. I soooo hope it will be worth the wait and the second book will be just as amazing as the first.

We loved it! JEM delivered all that we love in this theme. A royal falling in love with a commoner, the forbidden aspect of their love, the richness and splendour of royal life, and the personal sacrifices being born into that world entails; the lack of privacy, and duty before love, at all costs.
Not only did Jodi Ellen Malpas deliver all that, she also injected a bit of mystery, had us gasping over some intriguing family secrets, and introduced us to a fabulous willful Princess, who sees her only ‘job’ in royal life as marrying ‘the right man’ and providing an heir. However, our Princess Adeline, wants to make a difference, and she wants to marry for love, and won’t settle for anything less. Certainly not the man her father has chosen for her. As a result, Princess Adeline enjoys many dalliances with men, much to the exasperation of The King, her security detail, and PR people who are always hand to keep her indiscretions out of the press. For Adeline, duty is to be put first, being a woman, second.

We can only imagine the affect he had on Princess Adeline…geez, she didn’t stand a chance against Josh’s charm and his dirty talk! Wow! Did this man know how to bring it!

We loved the heat, the humour and the romance of this story. The interactions with Adeline and her security guard, Damon were particularly witty and sweet. Did that man have a job on his hands keeping Adeline in line! We adored this working relationship that had morphed into friendship.
The Controversial Princess provided us with the romance our hearts needed, the passion our hearts craved, with jaw dropping twists and turns that kept us guessing, and eagerly flipping the pages. To say we’re desperate for the conclusion, His True Queen, when it releases on 7th August, is in understatement! What an ending!

If you’re suffering from a royal wedding hangover, this book will fill that void. If the royal wedding didn’t get your hearts racing, then rest assured The Controversial Princess will. A big thumbs up!

“Temptation to defy the rules is almost too much to resist”
Ok. So all I can say is that I just died reading the ending of this book. This was my first book from this author, and it definitely will not be my last. A controversial princess who just wants freedom from being royalty, and an American actor who just wants to break some rules with a certain princess. That’s how this story starts, but it is NOT how it finishes. It becomes quite the forbidden love story. I don’t want to ruin anything, so I’m not going to say much. What I will say is that during so much of this book I just wanted to punch certain characters. I swooned for Adeline and Josh. I cried for them. I got a little hot and bothered by them.
It does end on a cliffhanger, it is a duet, so I expected it. And let me tell you it will definitely GUT you. It gutted me. I need the next book. RIGHT. NOW!
I think anyone who enjoyed following the royal wedding, or watched the show The Royals will enjoy this book. There’s definitely lots of scandal and intrigue within the pages.

3 raspado. Primer libro que leo de esta autora y puedo decir que me ha entretenido, ¡menudo culebron se marca!, pero tampoco me ha parecido nada del otro jueves. La trama transcurre bastante despacio y en las últimas 10 páginas da todo tal giro, que te deja con la tiara torcida.
Tengo que reconocer que la química de la pareja protagonista es explosiva; las escenas sexuales entre Josh y Adeline son de alto voltaje, aunque empiezan muy fuerte y acaban siendo algo repetitivas. Pena que me haya costado creerme su paso del instalust al instalove en una semana y que sea todo tan inverosímil y súper exagerado (la salida de Adeline de Evernmore es de traca).
Damon es el mejor personaje con diferencia, su amor por Take that me ha hecho mucha gracia.

Adeline, princess of England is a phenomenal character. When I think of princesses and fairytale type romances, I think of something sweet and fun. This isn't your typical "princess" story!!
Adeline lives to break rules and longs to live her life free of the burden she faces as a royal. I immediately fell for her. I loved her tenacity! However, Josh stole the show!
"I owned you the second you dropped to your knees for me, Your Highness."
Josh Jameson, American actor and heartthrob is a take charge sort of man. That's putting it mildly. When he sets his sights on Addy, all bets are off. I loved the chase and absolutely loved the ending!
The Controversial Princess is simply AMAZING! Adeline and Josh’s story was completely unexpected! I loved every minute of it! The immediate chemistry between the characters, Adeline’s strong-willed personality, and Josh’s steadfast pursuit drew me in and didn’t let go until I read the last page. I’m in book hangover heaven right now. I can’t get the next one fast enough!

For me, this is the first time I've read a royal story where it is the female that is the royal member out sowing their wild oats instead of a male. It's a nice change to the norm.
Josh was still portrayed as a womanizer. At first, I didn't like his approach with Adeline. He didn't seem smitten. He came off more as just wanting bragging rights but I also think that was the authors intention. Gladly, that did change and very quickly.
I liked Adeline. I wasn't sure if I would like that she partied so much, especially with her being 30 but she still came off as a very likable person. She wasn't spoiled or snobby. The author did a good job of showing how suppressed her life was and that she rebelled to just have some control in her life.
When Adeline meets Josh and once you get past the initial meeting, you start to see how drawn together they are and how hopeless their situation is. It seemed so hopeless that I wasn't sure how this was going to work. After that ending, I really can't wait to find out.
I wasn't expecting that ending and it seems these two really don't have a chance. There are quite a few unlikeable side characters in this and I was happy to see how this ending effected a few of them but then it did make things worse for Adeline. I really want to know what happens next. Onto book 2.

Oh my goodness, I loved this book so much!!! I've been craving royal romances in recent weeks and JEM just delivered a whopper. For me, royal romances mean opulence and duty and they're typically rife with longing and impossibility and secrecy. The Controversial Princess has it ALL. This new romance by Jodi Ellen Malpas packs so much into these pages, family scandal, secrecy and deceit, the most sensual romance, a forbidden love story, impossibility and heartache, all rounded out in the most JAW DROPPING ending that I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT SEE COMING. The Controversial Princess is utterly fantastic.
Josh Jamison is an American movie star. But when the woman in his crosshairs is the Princess of England, he might as well be a mailman, for she's as unattainable to him as she is to everyone else. She's a caged bird, albeit a rebellious one, but caged nonetheless. Her future is clearly mapped out for her, her royal obligations clear. La historia me ha mantenido enganchada, no es que sea nada del otro mundo, pero te va dejando "cositas" que te mantienen intrigada. Desde luego todo sale en las 10 últimas páginas que hay un pisto de campeonato, quizá demasiado para resolverlo tan rápido (bueno resuelto no queda porque hay que esperar a que salga el segundo libro) y demasiadas cosas que podrían haber ido pasando antes y no todo al final.
Desde luego que la Malpas, en mi opinión para parir hombres de los que a mi me gustan en una lectura, se las pinta sola... qué Josh, madre mía de mi vida. Química tremenda, el Josh TREMENDO y qué momentazos de pellizco que no se puede más. Además de ser un personaje de una sensualidad tremenda, es un hombre que no le da vueltas a las cosas, las dice como las piensa y eso choca con la monarquía inglesa, claro.
La verdad es que la he disfrutado, me gustan los protas y hay un pisto/putiferio de la leche (todo muy rápido al final) pero he disfrutado tanto con el Josh que oye, espero que llegue junio ya para saber cómo se resuelve "el asunto"
Desde luego que la Malpas, en mi opinión para parir hombres de los que a mi me gustan en una lectura, se las pinta sola... qué Josh, madre mía de mi vida. Me ha encantado la primera parte de esta historia.
Todo lo que escribe esta autora me encanta, es una de mis escritoras favoritas.
El final me ha dejado muerta, te dejan con ganas de empezar corriendo el siguiente libro.
Menudo pisto se ha liado al final del libro y cuantas cosas han salido a la luz.
Me encanta Addy y Josh, y como luchan por estar juntos. Menuda familia tiene Addy no me extraña que se sienta que esta en una cárcel.
Veremos que tal la segunda parte

No sé si darle 3,5-4. La Malpas es mi debilidad, excepto con El Protector que no me gustó. La idea es interesante y poco a poco se van dejando miguitas que hacen que nuestro cerebro vaya dando vueltas a todo lo que ocurre. El romance y las escenas hot como siempre son maravillosas. La autora tiene mucha mano con lo que es la química y el tenernos enganchadas a esas escenas que nos vuelven locas. Pero la trama se va desarrollando muy despacio y de golpe en las últimas 10 páginas suceden tantas cosas que me he quedado ojiplática. Quiero creer que en el siguiente libro se nos van explicar ciertos asuntos. De todas formas lo he disfrutado aunque hay cosas que me parecen muy exageradas.

Es el clásico ejemplo de una novela que va in crescendo a medida que vas leyendo capítulos. Empieza bien aunque con esa parte erótica que ya me tiene bastante saturada... pero a pesar de ello vas avanzando y la trama te atrapa, no paran de pasar cosas y hay un montón de giros geniales. Spesso dimentichiamo di lottare per quello in cui realmente crediamo e desideriamo, rendendoci più fragili e vulnerabili. Adeline è ognuna di noi, con le sue paure ed i suoi dubbi. Cresciuta senza amore paterno ma solo con l’obbligo di essere sempre impeccabile, Adeline sviluppa il bisogno di essere disobbediente ed indisciplinata nella speranza di riuscire a sentirsi libera ed amata davvero. Josh è l’inaspettato, un sogno che si avvera. Le scene erotiche fra i due protagonisti sono forti, dominatrici della scena e dei nostri più segreti sospiri. Sono liberi se sono uniti; sono persi se sono separati. I protagonisti vengono accompagnati in tutto il romanzo da amici e nemici...
