Scotty and his group of survivors are in all the right places for a world thrown to the Zombies. When unknown persons attack the US with a suspected viral agent he was at Zombie Themed Survival Bootcamp with his brother while his parents went off on holiday when the dead began rise and attack the living, now he's in a group with one of the only people who might hold the key to saving humanity, a doctor who needs to get it to Boston, and as its safety in numbers when everyone is potential Zombie Chow, his renegade bunch opt to be escort. Bertram Zeek does an amazing job with the narration.
The action ramps up, the dangers get less hairy and much more scary as the zombies rise and the bodies fall. Really enjoyed this.
This second volume is full of action as the group pushes to get Dr. Diane to Boston and keep their group intact. They battle zombies, skinheads, and even amongst themselves. It was a action packed read, impossible to put down. The teenagers are growing up quick in an apocalyptic world and true leadership is shining through. Looking forward to next volume!
This is as good as it gets. Loved these two books WOs 2 2. Fascinating story and an enjoyable read.Keep it up Jack I would like to read more of your work.
Don't know what just happened but half the review just cut out. A.anyway thoroughly enjoyed Wild Ones 1and 2 . I would love to read more of Jacks stories. Great adventure lots of excitement and maybe some romance. Great job
Fighting off zombies is bad enough but when they're people you know, even relatives, well the danger and adrenaline just shot up 100 per cent! Add that they're a bunch of teenagers trying to work together for a common goal and it makes for a action packed ride for the 'wild ones'! Great read! You'll enjoy it!!
Book 2 did not disappoint! Mr. Hunt is a great story teller, plenty of action, suspense, murder and a little romance. Excellent follow up to book 2, never missing a beat to pick right up with the story. I am hopeful that a third book might come out, however, book 2 ended quite well. Quite dramatic finish to get the doctor to Boston, don't want to write spoilers for others who read.
Where did the chef and his family go? They seemed to have disappeared once the bad guys entered the hotel. It's not realistic for teenagers to use the word "evening." The author also needs to use more contractions -- people don't say " do not, " "I will," etc. It's awkward to read.

The first one was interesting enough to go on to the second book. Good action, not getting bogged down with the filler details of how gross the Z's look. Mr. Hunt touched on it the right amount and moved on to the story. Good job. I will check out your other books.
I have read many of the books by Jack Hunt. I found them and this one to be believable and engrossing. He writes very well and is well versed in the genre. I am looking forward to reading more of his work. Thank you,Jack!
A terrific author and story teller! My heart was racing as I was reading this book . This is the second one of a really interesting book,I’m not much into z books but this was a exciting right up to the last page.
I really liked this beginning to the story. I've read a lot of these type books and this beginning was very different. Told from a younger pe perspective. Good book
I was kinda hard on the first book. This one is quite a bit better. If you read the first one and liked the characters it's worth your while to read this one. I'm ready and waiting for the next book.
