The book was so difficult to read. I had trouble believing Mark could be that guy. I had trouble believing Zac could be that guy. However, I read it because Hope Byrant was that special. They named her right. You got at least one star off for her virginity. That was so unnecessary. I understand she gave control to Zac but it was super wrong on his part. Agreed with counseling because WOW and this shit does happen daily across the world. Evil people exist like Marco and Mark.

I feel like I've read this book before. Is it a redo?

Man this family can't catch a break. It is one thing or another and now it's Hope. This isn't a pretty story, hell it's pretty doggone hard to read. They took her to get back at pops. To be there to know what's happening and not be able to help. Guilt is a horrible thing almost as bad as what is happening to Hope. This family is strong and Hope shows the genes are strong. This isn't a pretty, unicorns and roses type of story but none of their stories have been so you really shouldn't be surprised. What this author does is write it in a way that only she can and do a brilliant job of it.

The character carry on as strong and independent, loyal and dependable and love deeply. They love past the brutality of life that has been inflicted and thrive as their parents did before them. Can't wait for Harry's story, he has been, well he's Harry. Bless his heart.

Hopes story grabbed me at the very first page and what a care free spirit she was with so much passion and the biggest heart and she was so true to herself and I loved her for that until one night her world turned so dark and painful my heart hurt and left my mouth hanging open. It was so raw and intense and she was so strong and brave with all the hope in the world for survival. Mark and his father were demented and I couldn't believe the things that were done to this poor girl and Zac well you have to read this and prepare for your heart to hurt.So well written and descriptive and the characters were perfection.I voluntarily read a readers copy of this book

This is the sixth book in this amazing series, and this is an emotional rollercoaster journey. This story is raw, gritty, heartbreaking, intense, as well as heart-warming and powerful. This is a definite page turner, which had me intrigued and captivated throughout. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers, and cannot wait to read more from her.
