When your world changes around you, do you fight it or adapt?
Almost everything has changed in Ruth's world. Ripped from the loving arms around her and carried into space, she has survived slavery and a transformation that would have broken many others. Faced with insurmountable challenges, she has countered darkness with light and despair with love.
Will this be enough to earn her some peace? Or will it be her spirit and heart that are broken?
The mixture of technology and magic is where my mind and heart live. In today's world, it mixes engineering and creativity. In the worlds of my mind, technology and magic live intertwined. I hope that you will find my stories interesting enough to be frequent visitors to where my heart beats.
Taki Drake has become one of my favorite authors. Her character development and crafted interactions have me devouring her stories and sorry when I raced through to the end. The mixture of technology and magic is well thought out and she has created a universe of compelling characters. Highly recommend if you enjoy the Kutherian Universe varied storylines.
So Taki, let's get a move on the rest of the books. Sometimes I think the all powerful being character is a risky storyline, but the way the stories unfold saves this series. Good job. You've caught me. I need to know where this is headed so keep it coming. Thanks, mtg.
It was worth the wait ( said reluctantly, cause reader wants more mage now!) Very enjoyable read, you have set up the major conflict that is coming , beautifully. Excellent read!!
In this book we pick up the story where book one ends and start adding even more interesting characters my favorite is the Catog. I had so many chuckles well reading the book it made it fun to read. So looking for the next part of this expanding world.
I love the character Ruth. I wish that both books were released in audio. The story flows well and holds my attention. I’m also fascinated by Mary and wonder what will happen between her and the lawyer
I felt this book was written better than the first book. The writer continues the story and pulls the reader into the characters and story. The book seemed to end abruptly.
Different and interesting. The Unfettered Mage is a different sort. Great Characters and some interesting scenes make for some fun reading. I'll read more.
This is the second in this series and I'm glad I waited. The author writes in a rather simplistic way, and editing could be better. But all in all this is a fun read.
By the end of chapter 17, there were 65 basic grammar/tense/punctuation errors. I am not an editor nor do I have a degree in English.... which means there are probably some that I didn't catch. The storyline is interesting, but wading through the mistakes it's exhausting. I gave up at the end of chapter 17.
