Native to the midwest Amanda is a 21 year old college student who will be graduating in May 2018 with her AA in photography. She began writing poetry in middle school and hasn't put down the pen since. Amanda has struggled with mental health issues for the majority of her life including depression, self harm, eating disorder, anxiety and panic attacks. In her debut poetry collection"the art of letting go" is her story in working through intense emotions and learning to let go. If her story can help or inspire just one person that's all she wants: to help just one person feel less alone.
