The true measure of a man is not in the mistakes he makes…but in how he handles those mistakes.

After leaving the Army, Zander King wants nothing more to do with being a hero. His life plan is to keep his nose clean, work hard to make his bar successful and avoid damsels in distress. Old habits died hard, though, so when a beautiful stranger walks into the bar to drink alone, his protective instincts kicked into high gear. It was a good thing too, because his was not the only eye she caught in his rough-side-of-town establishment.

When a man won't take no for an answer from her, Zander kicks him out, but he sends the woman, who doesn't belong there, packing too. Too late, he realizes his mistake in releasing the petite, vulnerable woman out into the neighborhood alone, when he finds her near death outside the bar at closing time.

Racked with guilt, Zander's conscience won't let him abandon her until he knows she'll be okay. At the hospital days later, his sleeping beauty, Jane Doe, finally wakes up, but she doesn't remember who she is or how she got there.

Zander vows to help her put the pieces of her memory back together, but would regaining her memory only put her in more danger?

A Heroes at Heart novel based loosely on the fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty.

As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.

My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.

My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.

I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

I love to hear from readers, so please email me!

I'm a fan of Maryann Jordan and like her work. This book had so much potential but something is missing. I feel like she wrote this in a rush. So many points are unclear. h is assaulted but it is never mentioned if she was raped or not. I mean, how could you miss such a big point? Neither Police nor H mentions or suspects it. It's really stupid. Usually broken ribs takes 6 weeks to heal but h is well and about as soon as she is out of hospital after 2 weeks or so (I'm guessing) in coma. Hero notices h at the back of dumpster by her blue sweater but then later in the book he says he heard something and noticed her. I think author forgot what exactly happened.

From the book:

Hefting the bag into the air, he easily tossed it in. With a glance across the black pavement, water in the
potholes shinning from the parking lot lights, the faint light shone down on something blue from the other
side of the dumpster. Curious, he walked around, halting at the sight. Heart pounding, he stared in horror.

When Zander explains h how he found her..

“Yeah…I was the last to leave. I heard a noise on my way out and followed it. That’s when I found
you.”

Zander is book one in the Heroes at Heart series by Maryann Jordan. One night at his bar, Zander King removed two of his patrons for bad behaviour. For Zander, this act will change his life forever. After the bar was closed, Zander found the young woman he removed from the bar conscience at the back door of the bar. Zander feeling guilty for leaving a young woman alone in his neighbourhood decided to follow her to the hospital. The readers of Zander will continue to follow Zander to find out what happens.

Zander is the first book I have read of Maryann Jordan, and I did enjoy reading this book. Maryann Jordan did a fantastic job of portraying her characters and the way they interact with each other. Zander was well written and researched by Maryann Jordan, and I engaged with the plot from the start. The description of the setting of Zander allows me to picture myself part of the background.

The readers of Zander will learn the importance of talking to patients who are in a coma. Also, the readers of Zander will see what love and respect can have on children who are forgotten by the community.

I recommend this book.

I’m a fan of Maryann Jordan’s books and there are certain things I’ve come to expect in her stories. With Zander I get those things but even more. It is a beautifully romantic story that pulled me in from the start.

“Holding the kiss for a moment, he whispered, “If I could just have you look at me, your face would be more precious than a book.”

I loved the Sleeping Beauty fairytale tie-in with this story. It felt a bit like the movie While You Were Sleeping with some Maryann Jordan twists.

“He was so handsome. Big and rough, as though he could battle anything and, yet, so gentle with me. And it was so easy to just give it all over to him. My worries, concerns, fears, doubts. He took them all and made me feel safe.”

The hero, Zander, is flawed. He is not perfect. A gruff and grumpy bar owner who comes to realize that his focus has been on the wrong things. His eyes are opened to what is really important and the direction he needs to look to find his happiness.

“I’ve realized that I put you on a pedestal. You were my hero…my dragon slayer…my prince.”
Fear gripped his chest, his heart beating so loudly he was sure she could hear.
“But, the reality is, you’re just a man. A man who makes mistakes. Sometimes falters. Sometimes disappoints.” Her lips curved slightly as she continued, “But I forgive you, Zander. Because, even though you’re just a man, you’re still my hero.”

This is the first book in a new series of stories that I just can’t wait to read more. With this book as with every new M.J. book I feel like I’ve found a new favorite story.

I always enjoy reading Ms Jordan’s books and get excited when she starts a new series.
This was no different, the concept is different from her other books and I was intrigued how it would play out. Zander and his foster brothers are brought together by a beautiful soul call Miss Ethel. Having lost her husband and never having any children of her own she fosters young boys. Six of these boys form a bond that is unbreakable and keeps them close through their teens and into adulthood. Zander is the eldest and the o e who watched over his brothers right from when he met them. This doesn’t change much except now they all watch out for each other.
When Zander meets Rosalie he doesn’t act as he usually does and he finds her hurt and unconscious. What follows is a love story based on sleeping beauty. Lots of drama and twists. This story will keep you entertained. Can’t wait to read about the other boys stories now. I’m hoping we see more of Miss Ethel too.

Zander by Maryann Jordan
I was always a fan of fairytale and this modern day tale leaves you wanting more.
Zander King (just the name alone sounds like the alpha type) grew up in foster care but he made himself home there with all his "brothers". After coming back from the army he decided to open up a bar he keeps it clean establishment. Seeing a beautiful girl he thinks she doesn't belong alone in a rough bar and sends her out, only to be attacked behind the bar. While she is in a come Zander does the only thing he can do reads her his favorite fairytales only with a twist. While she wakes up they become close but Zander still hasn't told her why she was sent out and guilt is killing him.
Zander and Rosalie are perfect, she felt safe and Zander has always been the protector.

I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Zander is a bit of a different type of story from Jordan's usual books. Its a retelling of sorts of Sleeping Beauty and it worked. Sleeping Beauty was never my favorite fairy tale. I mean, come on...woman just sleeping in the forest. Strange man finds her and decides "Yep, kissing her seems cool", then they fall in love the moment her eyes open...yeah, there are SO many things wrong with this. But, Jordan managed to retell the story with a modern twist and fix some of the major plot holes with the original.

Zander is a former foster kid who now owns a bar called Grimm (get it!). One evening, he sees a woman in his bar who he thinks is too innocent looking for her own good. He asks her to leave. She gets assaulted in the parking lot. Zander feels a huge amount of guilt over it. First, she wasn't actually doing anything wrong but he made her leave anyway. Second, he was attracted to her on some level and that was part of the reason he wanted her gone. Third, it happened in his bar. She ends up in a coma and he comes to the hospital to read to her. Its very touching!

I did tear up a few times-Zander's past is difficult and totally pulled at my heartstrings. His care for everyone around him is remarkable and made me wish everyone had a person like him in their lives. Rosalie is a likable character (once she is awake!) and I thought her and Zander handled everything, even miscommunications, with maturity. It was relaxing to read a story that wasn't fully to new adult angst, miscommunications, and drama llamas. Zander is a sweet twist on a classic tale, with characters that are truly enjoyable.

POV: 3rd
Tears: yes
Trope: fairytale retelling
Triggers:
What happened to her is not detailed, but she is assaulted and beaten badly enough to end up in a coma, so this might be a trigger for some readers
Series/Standalone: stand alone
Cliffhanger:
no
HEA:
yes with multiple epilogues
[rating-report]

Other retellings like Wasted Words by Staci Hart, A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught, Equal Parts by Emma Winter...then you will probably like Zander!

I have grown to expect a certain type of hero from MaryAnn Jordan, and while Zander is an alpha male, former military he doesn't fit the typical mold. He is a bar owner who has grown discontent with the monotony of his day. He sees a beauty being harassed by one of his patrons and steps in. He has the man removed, then for her safety he send the woman on her way as well, unfortunately it doesn't work on as planned and the beauty becomes Sender's very own sleeping beauty. Mrs. Jordan nailed it with this interpretation of the classic fairy tail and her sleeping beauty doesn't need her man to save her (even if it sure is nice agent he does.)
I am excited to see more of Miss Ethel and her boys throughout this series! The next in This series has big shoes to fill so to speak.

A-Ma-Zing.

I am in wonder at how Maryann Jordan does it. Again. The fist 5% of this book gripped me by heart and tears were shed. As Zander's backstory unfold, my heart ache for him and how does Maryann Jordan do this? How was she able to create a hero so perfect yet imperfect at the same time? I absolutely love that Maryann Jordan made Zander an avid reader. Now, a man who reads is one sexy man indeed. So how can I, another avid reader not fall in love with our Hero?

You have been in every line I have ever read, since I first came here.

I would say that almost the first part of this book is focused on Zander, little was known about our heroine as she was in a coma. When she finally awake (ohhh, I so wanted to write how that scene unfolded but you must read it for yourself. I squealed in delight), we finally know more about her albeit slowly as she was suffering from temporary amnesia. Our heroine at first might seem weak but she is strong and in the end, she slayed her own dragon.

I love that there's an epilogue! It's not of mega proportions like Kristen Ashley (she's the Epilogue Queen) but I so love that we see what happened after the "Happily Ever After". I wished it was longer! Also, the secondary characters worked really well into the storyline. My favourite ... Miss Ethel, of course!

I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading all the other 5 of Zander's "brothers". Next up is our pretty model Rafe. Oh can I also add, I just LOVE the book covers for this series!

4.5 star review of Zander (Heroes At Heart #1) by Maryann Jordan
This was a bit of a departure from what I have come to expect from a Maryann Jordan book. This is Zander King and Rosalie’s story, loosely based on the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale and is the first book in her latest series.

Zander runs a bar called Grimm’s and when Rosalie is hassled whilst in his bar, he kicks out the man and then outs her in a taxi home. When Rosalie is found hurt and unconscious, Zander is racked by guilt. Will she wake up? Will she remember that he was the one who suggested she leave or will she know that he is the one who found and rescued her?

As Rosalie struggles to find her memories, Zander steps in to assist her and it is while this is happening that they slowly develop a relationship.

Zander is well written and there is so much emotion running throughout the book that I challenge anyone not to be affected by it. The characters are entertaining and I really loved Zander and I cannot wait to learn more about his “brothers” brought together and kept together by Miss Ethel, who was one heck of a character.

I am really looking forward to seeing where Ms.Jordan takes this series.

Army vet Zander King has opened a bar called Grimm, after the fairy tales his beloved foster mother read him as a child. He defends a beautiful woman, one of his bar patrons, from a man who's trying to force her to spend time with him, but in a fit of anger (he thinks she's too good for her bar), he kicks her out too. When she's assaulted and left for dead behind the bar, he decides to visit her (a Jane Doe) in the hospital, reading the stories to her. He calls her Rosamund, after the character in Sleeping Beauty. When she awakens with amnesia, he's still there, trying to be her white knight, despite cautions from his family that he's moving way too fast.

Honestly, I would have like to have seen a little bit more fairy tale in the story that's supposed to be at least partially based on a fairy tale, but other than that, it's good. Nothing new or revolutionary, but it's a solidly well-written romance novel.

What an excellent start to this new series! I'm a huge fan of Maryann Jordan's previous books, but this new group of men has me itching for more! The element of weaving the fairytale into the story was perfect. I loved the stoic man that Zander was and how he fell in love with Rosalie as she was asleep. The tale was well written with great characters. There is that element of suspense as there is in each of her prior books. I can't wait to see where she takes these characters!

loved it

This is my first time reading Heroes at heart series but it won’t be my last. As usual Maryann Jordan crafts a wonderful story and there’s always something exciting happening near the end of the book. This book is no different, it was really exciting. I also enjoyed the epilogues. I loved Miss Ethel, she’s absolutely wonderful. I’m off to read the next book in the series.

This is a retelling of beauty and the beast - sort of. Beautiful girl, Rosalie, gets beat up at a bar and bar owner, Zander, rescues her. Sounds good so far except that Zander quickly dissolves into a creepy, overbearing control freak bordering on manipulation.

Rosalie is left in a coma & has no family the police can find so Zander starts to visiting everyday. It starts to get weird when he names her Rosamund after his favorite fairy tale, puts lip balm on her & then kisses her while she's in a coma and then starts calling her princess. He starts to get very over protective of her in a very possessive way. Then, when she wakes up, we are expected to believe that she'd move in with him, a complete stranger, because she has no where to go? The story continues to unravel from there and Zander definitely acts like a beast toward anyone who looks at her sideways, all the while calling her pet names. Too unbelievable for my tastes, the word princess is used ad nauseam and there is nothing romantic about an overbearing, over possessive man!

I almost deleted this book when I came across a handful of grammar and spelling issues in the dedication alone. That is a bad sign. Because of all the positive ratings, I decided to read on. Fortunately, the actual novel had only one or two editing errors. This is a predictable but sweet romance with an HEA...kind of like an R rated Hallmark movie. Not a particularly memorable storyline but the cast of characters is very likeable.

All Zander, former Army now bar owner, wants in life is something of his own that makes him proud. He's read all the classics and fairytales, but doesn't believe they'll come true for him. Zander had a rough start in life before finding his forever home with Miss Ethel. After Miss Ethel's husband passed away, she began taking in foster kids--all boys. She gave them a foundation based on love, caring, and hard work. Although Zander and his "brothers" have become successful men, none have found their fairytale ending...

During one chaotic evening at the bar, Zander crosses paths with a "fairy princess". Looking too young to drink, Zander goes to check her ID when he finds her being harassed by a drunk gentleman. After kicking the guy out, then asking her to leave as she's too "innocent" to be in a bar like his, a fight breaks out. In all the confusion, she doesn't quite make it into the cab Zander called for her, before she's attacked. After closing, Zander finds her unconscious body outside by the trash can.

Initially, Zander stays with her at the hospital out of guilt. The more time he spends reading and talking to "Jane Doe-Rosamond", the more feelings begin to develop. Zander even begins to wonder if fairytales really do come true.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this story! What an impressive way to start a new series. I loved how Miss Ethel's boys all doted on her. She was their salvation and they KNEW it. They knew they owed their successes to her. She was witty and smart, but always let Zander figure out his problems and correct his mistakes. What an incredible woman! We definitely need more giving people like her! I can't wait to read about the remaining brothers. I also enjoyed the added touch of suspense at the end! Kudos to Maryann!!! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

DON'T DO IT, MAN! Don't ruin the book before it's barely begun! Oh no. He did it - he kissed a woman in a coma on the lips. A woman who does not know him. Faaaar out. I thought we all knew now that those Disney movies don't quite measure up to today's society and what's considered acceptable behaviour. Apparently consent still doesn't matter in the name of romance, according to this author anyway.

I have so many issues with this book. The fairy tale thing was well overdone. Including Zander calling Rosalie, Princess. I didn't find anything romantic about this story at all. As if a woman is going to wake up from a coma and agree to go home with the dude who has been reading to her because she has suffered memory loss and doesn't know where to go. No. Zander was a possessive butt head. So gross how often people called him a hero. Definitely thought it was inappropriate for Rosalie and Zander to start sleeping together before she had regained all her memory. She was completely dependent on Zander for everything and the power dynamic was way off for a healthy relationship. Rosalie makes steps to fix that later but the damage was done in my eyes.

Speaking of sleeping together - the sex scenes were rather amusing. For example there is talk of feeling shock in the womb and also natural juices. Haha. Even writing that is getting to me.

So many parts of the story were unbelievable. Even just a group of boys being raised in a perfect foster home by the wise and holy Miss Ethel and everyone growing up to be upstanding citizens. I probably should have read the blurb more closely but surely there was a way to write a story inspired by a fairy tale without having a possessive douche bag at the helm. And you know that doesn't include kissing (assault?) of unconscious strangers.

The talented Ms Jordan once again excels in her storytelling gift. This new series, will be one that will make us all fall in love with these heroes.
The stories will center around the “boys” Miss Ethel took in as foster children. They not only became ”brothers” but she also became their mother figure. A woman they still take care , visit and love.
Zander, the oldest of them, owns a bar named Grimm’s. As the story progresses you will get the reference to the name. In his usual grumpy self, when he sees a woman that looks too young and innocent in his bar, being harassed, he gets mad at her, tells her to leave and tells one of the bouncers to find her a cab. A fight takes place shortly after inside the bar and after all is quiet , and the bar is closing , he assumes she had left without a hitch. But that was not the case. When he finds her nearly beaten to death, and later in a coma at the hospital, he is determined to visit her. At first it was out of guilt, and then for reasons he is not sure he wants to know he gets attached to her.
The author gives us an engaging plot with complex characters. But in the midst of all that , she shows us that families are not always made up of blood relatives, but of the deep relationships we develop with those we love and care for. That having a tough start in life, doesn’t mean that later on we can’t overcome the “dragons”. And that love, be that of a substitute mother, “brothers” and/or a significant other, does heal our hearts and our minds.

Zander & Rosalie

This is an absolutely beautiful book that has all your emotions twisting and turning. Maryann as usual has captured the very heart of the reader and emersed them in a world of beauty, love and intrege. I was capture by this fairytale from the very beginning and it had my heart completely emerse in these beautiful characters lives. The characters in this book are firercly loyal to each other and look out for one another. It is a pleasure reading their journey.

Zander and Rosalie was a privilege to read about, their lives entwined together slowly and it was beautiful to read. The fiercness that Zander protects all that he loves is soul deep and amazing, he loves so deeply. Rosalie is sweetness personafied and a joy to read and her love is soul deep her story begins heartbreaking to transform into beauty. Miss Ethel is a joy to read as she is just so honest and cares for all and loves her boys beyond all measure.

I absolutely adore this author and her style of writing. I love the journey that this book took me on and I honestly couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Maryann has definitely written a heart touching soul searing book and I would recommend this book to anyone who love an epic love between two very beautiful souls and I hope that anyone who picks this book to be their next great read enjoys this as much as I have.

Wow what a Fantastic book Zander by Maryann Jordan this was a romantic suspenseful story with a whole lot of emotions. Zander was a very well written story. I absolutely recommend this great book it will keep you turning the pages as fast as you can read. The writer makes you feel like you are there with these incredible characters, like you can feel exactly what her characters are going though and what the are feeling. Zander, according to his family and friends is a bit of a grouch and one night while at his bar he notices a woman who just doesn’t belong in his rough bar. She just doesn’t look capable of taking care of herself with the guy trying to talk to her. Feeling a bit angry at her for some reason he tell the guy to leave her alone and kicks him out. Thinking she is a problem waiting to happen he also kicks her out. But when he finds her after closing beaten up and near death he blames himself. This is a story that definitely will keep you hooked till the very last sentence. A must read if you enjoy alpha men who will show you his caring and tender side. She is the one who brings this out in him. Can two people who come together during a vulnerable time find love or will it be a confusing time? WOW is one way to describe this fantastic book. I hope you will enjoy this as well as I did. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and Wow.

When a favorite author starts a new series, I get excited to see where their mind goes. After reading Zander, I am so excited for where this new series is headed. The heroes at Heart series is loosely based on fairytales. Zander is based on Sleeping Beauty and I loved it and can't wait to see what Rafe will be based on. Zander runs a bar, Grimm's, and ends up having one of his female customers sent home in a cab As Zander is leaving, his finds a woman beaten outside his bar and he realizes it's the woman he had sent home. He goes to visit her the next day (out of guilt) only to learn she is in a coma and she has become a Jane Doe. Zander ends up visiting her everyday and reading to her from an book. One of the stories he reads her is sleeping Beauty and he decides that she needs a name. So he names her Rosamond, because she reminds him of the princess in Sleeping Beauty. Eventually she wakes up and we learn her name is Rosalie and that she has lost her memory. Zander and Rosalie work together to piece together her memory and along the way we see their relationship develop. I loved the ups and downs they had to endure to get their happy ending. Another fabulous read by Maryann Jordan! I received an authors copy and I have left an honest review.

Zander by Maryann Jordan is part of a new series called Heroes at Heart. This is the first book.

Miss Ethel took in a number of boys as a foster parent after her husband died. She gave them love, manners, discipline, and hope for the future. Many stayed with her until they graduated or found a living. Zander is the oldest of the boys that continue to come by and check in with her. One of the things she has taught Zander is that, “The true measure of a man is not in the mistakes he makes…but in how he handles those mistakes.”

After the military, he bought and renovated a bar, naming it Grimm’s for the fairy tales that Miss Ethel used to teach him to read. Zander’s bar is a bit rough and he doesn’t allow behaviors to interfere with the patrons. It is in this context that an incident occurred that Zander feels guilt for. The woman hurt has no identification and is seriously hurt. It is from this premise that the story morphs into a story that is reminiscent of Sleeping Beauty….with a twist.

I am late coming to Maryann Jordan and her series, but I feel strongly that this particular series is going to be awesome and I am looking forward to reading the stories about the other “Heroes at Heart.” Zander by Maryann Jordan is a good read!

Zander is the 1st book in a new series by Maryann Jordan. All I can say is this book is an emotional rollercoaster ride from start to finish in the best way ever.
This book will rock you because Zander isn't your normal hero he is grumpy and gruff and just getting through his day surviving but not truly living. "The true measure of a man is not in the mistakes he makes…but in how he handles those mistakes" is a quote that the whole story is based on. I love the "Sleeping Beauty" and classical quotes throughout the book as well as the bar is named Grimm's. When Zander makes a mistake with Rosalie that he feels great guilt from and the story is how he handles and rectifies the situation. Character development is phenomenal in this book and you will truly feel like you know these characters and want to be there friends. Miss Ethel is crucial to the story and one of the best written characters I have read in a long time. As always you will cry and laugh as you read this book and I cannot wait for the rest of the series. Zander and Rosalie will be your feel good couple and their HEA ending is so worth the wait. Waiting for the rest of the brothers and their stories will be excruciating on readers but so worth it. Do not miss this book.

MJ is all about the sweetness vs toughness when it comes to her characters, the h is sweet and shy and nice, and the H is a big, dominating über Alpha in 99% of her stories. It's a formula that works and I for one enjoy it, when I'm in the mood to read a feel good book this is the author I turn to, because despite the often horrid suspense that surround the characters the romance is always lovely.
Zander screwed up big time at the start of the book, and where the h any less sweet and nice she'd have throat punched him. But it comes back and bites him on the ass so bad it's a life changing wake up call.
I love how he is with her from the moment he realizes what his actions have done, I love the emotional journey they both took to get to the HEA, and best of all I love how it addressed issues that as a mature reader were sort of bugging me at the back of my mind.

What an enchanting love story. Maryann Jordan has introduced us to a wonderful cast of characters. Do yourself a favor, read this one! It's well worth your while and will bring you lots of smiles.

An unfortunate set of circumstances leads to a tragic event that makes Xander feel like he stepped into a fairy tale. Sleeping Beauty to be exact. He found his princess in the back alley behind his bar severely beaten. Now she's in the hospital alone and in a coma. His guilt and concern over her condition has him returning daily just to sit with her so she's not alone. He begins reading to her everyday in the hopes that eventually she will wake up. When she finally opens his eyes, she sees the man behind the voice she's heard in her subconscious. Once she finally remembers who she is, sander is instrumental in her getting her life back on track. Their feelings for each other are deep and quickly turn to love. Rosalie determines that she must gain some autonomy before they can have a real relationship. As with all fairy tales, they do get their HEA but only after danger once again rears its ugly head

Wow ...... I really enjoyed this. This book is the start of a new series for Maryann and a little different from her other books.

Zander meets Jane Doe in his bar and he is rude and confrontational with her before kicking her out, he feels she doesn't belong in a bar in a rougher part of town. He realises his mistake in sending her out into the night alone when he finds her unconscious and near death.

He hates that she is unconscious in a hospital room all alone as no one knows who she is and he is racked with guilt, so he visits and reads to her to keep her company but when she wakes up she can't remember anything.

Zander wants to help her get her memory back but still feels guilty for his part in her ending up in hospital and losing her memory. He is a good man who makes mistakes but one of the lines in the books stayed with me as I read it 'The true measure of a man is not in the mistakes he makes…but in how he handles those mistakes.'

You won't be disappointed by this book, I can't wait for the next in the series.
