Rate this book
It’s been a week since Raiden Cael ran through a portal and straight into Nicole Jameson’s life. Now she lives on the run, and every hour that passes means a portal might open that allows her enemies to track her down. As her foes race to find her, Nicole and Raiden search for a way to stop them.

While Raiden makes a difficult choice to protect Nicole, she learns just how far she is willing to go to keep her loved ones safe. In Raiden’s absence, Gordan grows closer to Nicole and discovers that his debt to her is not what he expected. As he watches Nicole struggle with how her enemies are changing her, Gordan sets aside his newfound happiness to provide her with the chance to find her own. But when Raiden uncovers the truth of the fera and the plans her enemies have for her, Nicole realizes she will have to embrace the monstrous identity she has been trying to escape in order to take her life back from her enemies.

Lost Realm of Secrets continues the tale of a young woman trapped between two worlds as she struggles with her terrible powers and her seemingly dark destiny.

Just as remarkable as the first book but with MANY more pages of magic!
There wasn't as much Amarth as a devoted Amarth fan such as myself was hoping for but I'm happy he was still involved in book two. I felt like there was times when the story was progressing a little slow but the writing was great and it was probably for quality character development or important information for later in the story. The new characters (especially the three girls Nicole meets and Gim) were unique and very interesting.
I really enjoy The Council vs The Rebels. It kinda reminds me of The Empire vs the Rebels from Star Wars (especially when they start using magic guns)
The conclusion was action packed and Im super excited for the next adventure. Thankyou C.C. Rae. #bestwriterever

Starting next book as soon as I wake up, I'd rather read it now, but it's already 2am and I have to work today.
I expected myself to form an eloquent review, but all I have now is screaming into the abyss and grabbing dragon king in desperate need to read the rest of the story.
It's getting darker, and I love it more with every page I read.
It took me too long to finish the second book, because life was getting in the way, but today I just kept going and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw I had no more pages left to read.
