She refused to one day turn 50 and realize she had nothing but her career and hours at a desk. After realizing she needed change, she became a high school teacher. Teaching is rewarding, but writing is a passion.

Disappointing
I enjoyed The House of Morgan series so much. I was looking forward to a new series by the same author.
Tempting Gabe felt like I was reading a rough draft of an outline. Missing words, typos, sentences that don't make sense, etc. We didn't get to meet and learn anything about the characters or their backgrounds. There was nothing to connect the reader to the characters.
The story has such potential, but it felt like the author realized the release date was the next day, threw some notes out and called them a book. Very disappointing.

Tempting Gabe is a fast paced insta love romance. Megan Murdock is a brave, independent, moral and strong person. She just lost her mother and was estranged from her brother Maddox. Though not by choice. Maddox was in the Marines and he came back a troubled and different man. Maddox blamed Gabe for ruining his life, leaving him behind to die and be captured and tortured by the enemy. Gable Hawke created Hawke Inc. a tech company specializing in internet security. Gabe was a successful businessman, intelligent and astute. His training with the Marines did not go to waste. He was in the Marines with Maddox and because of an ambush had been burned on his chest and back. Gabe thought Maddox had died during the ambush and was surprised he was not. This caused Gabe to question what he remembered from that day, even though it was painful. As time ticked on Gabe slowly started to remember more clearly what happened. He now suspected that Maddox was never captured or tortured but had set up the ambush to cover his tracks. Now Maddox had targeted Gabe and his family. Megan was also now a target for being a traitor according to Maddox. Gabe acted quickly to make sure his family and Megan were guarded and protected. It was now a chess game waiting for Maddox's next move. In the meantime Gabe had Megan stay with him and because of their attraction to each other, he moved on that. Megan responded in like. It was a trying time waiting, watching and hoping for Maddox's arrest. Megan, Gabe and his family would have no rest till then. This was a very good read. It was suspenseful and full of action. It was a very quick read. I look forward to reading more from this author. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. It wasn't a bad read I just felt that some areas needed more detail and I found that it moved along wayyy to quickly with the main characters. we meet Megan at her brothers house waiting for her mother's ring. while waiting she stumbles upon kill plans for some dude named Gabe plus a confession letter killing an elderly couple. distraught, Megan finally leaves after getting the ring and makes a quick decision....she is going to find the gabe character. gabe, former military turned techy CEO is troubled with the shooting of his parents. he thoughts are interrupted by his secretary urging him to see a woman. low and behold..his dead.army buddy's sister. Megan explains the situation and gabe is dumbfounded...he thought her brother was dead...this changes everything. gabe is determined to keep Megan safe from her own brother.. .but at what costs!!

Gabe Hawke is wealthy business tycoon that is trying to protect his family and find out who shot his parents. Megan Murdock only wants one thing, the ring her mother left her in her will. The one thing they have in common, the thing that brings them together is Megan's brother Maddox.
This story is a roller coaster of emotions. There is chemistry, some heartache, love of family, PTSD issues but also love and healing. This was a fantastic short read that I really enjoyed.

This was a great little story that has a bit of everything from drama, suspense, attraction, forgiveness, love, need and most of all a happy ending. I totally enjoyed every page of this book and loved the characters and their connection with each other. I received a free copy of the book and have voluntarily written an honest review. I would recommend this book to anyone as it’s a great clean read that will entice you to see where it might end.

Tempting Gabe is the first book in a new series by Victoria Pinder. This story has a good plot and interesting characters. The setting takes place over a few days and major events of the past play a large part in the foundation of this series. Yes, there is a HEA ending and yes, more details of these events will be forthcoming. While I have loved her books in the past, this one seemed to be below the standards I expected. I did enjoy Tempting Gabe and look forward to continuing the series. Although it is a short read and left me wanting more, it is a stand-alone book.

This is the first book in a series, but it is also a complete story itself. I too, fell in love with Gabe… and with Megan and Gabe together. And with Gabe’s family…
There is plenty of suspense and action in this story as well.
Bottom line: Really very good. Looking forward to book two. 5 stars

Romance, with just a touch of suspense, another great less than a day read from author Victoria Pinder! I can't help but be amazed by the volume of writing she can produce. I'm hooked on her ongoing family storylines, I'll be reading more by Victoria Pinder, and look forward to her next work. This book could have been even more if longer in length, The plot was there, that's the problem with short stories, they're short.

4 stars Gabe is a CEO for a cyber security agency. Megan works for an accounting firm. She goes to get her mothers ring from her brother, Maddox. Turns out Maddox blame Gabe for all his issues. He started to hunt both Gabe and Megan. The story contains some suspense, intrigue and new found romance I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Pinder in the future.

Megan discovers by chance that her brother Maddox can be the perpetrator of a terrible crime and decides to inform the only person who can help her.
Gabe decides to protect Megan from his brother until the police arrest him.
Although I did like the storyline, I found this book very similar to the House of Morgan ones. There is also a lack of deepness that makes the story weak.
All in all, I liked the book.

This is a great start to the Hawk family saga. The characters are captivating and intriguing. Gabe is a strong, sexy, and smart. Megan is his opposite, a quite nerdy type that stays to herself. They are different and yet have so much chemistry and spark. There is suspense, drama, action, humor and romance in this story. It is well written and will keep your interested. I really enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading the other books in this series.

Gabe was trying to find who targeted his parents and family. His mom & dad where in the hospital after being attacked. Now Megan has proof that her brother is behind it. Gabe & Maddox served together.

This is a super short love story. I enjoyed the characters but I wish the book was longer and built up to the end. This has insta-love, which I know bothers some people. I don't really mind though. It was an enjoyable book and I think would have made a great longer story if the plot had been stretched a bit.

when Megan been bugging her brother about a ring that their mother left for her she seen something that was alarming. So she skipped work to go to the place where what she saw scared her and told the owner about what she saw and now she is in trouble and her brother is trying to kill her as well

Blah and boring
I did not care for this book. I kept reading hoping for something interesting to happen. Never did. It's great that everything just happened to work out for the characters. I know it's a book, but it just was not realistic like I prefer my trashy romance novels to be.

Don't Bother
Very few times in my life have I ever just stopped reading a book. And believe me, I've suffered through some really bad ones. But I just couldn't with this one. When i burst out laughing at the dialogue between characters during a supposedly tender romance scene, i knew i couldn't read any more. Even free, i think I've still paid too much

If you like an Insta love this is the book for you. Gabe was a wealthy tycoon. His family was under attack due to his past. Megan was the sister of his biggest threat. Tragedy brought them together and she couldn't resist her instant attraction.

This was a nice, quick love story. Megan and Gabe had to work together to have her mentally unstable brother put away. The fell fast and hard in love. Hope to see more of this couple in the future. I received an ARC and am reviewing voluntarily.

I really enjoyed this story, a few twists and a fair bit of suspense keep it interesting. I felt for Megan being torn between family and doing what's right, never easy but hard when you have no other family. Gabe I felt was great not blaming her and realising how hard it was for her to go to him. Great read.
