Cassie Course by Liz Gavin - 5 stars
Just a beginning that will leave you craving more in this series.
Cassie comes from the line of priestesses that serve Apollo. A god can be sweet but can be also cruel.
How will Cassie manage to live in World where she is like mythological Cassandra.
Book 2 needed.
Be careful steamy sex scenes!

Stealing Persephone by Isadora Brown - 5 stars
Sensual read with Greek gods. I loved The World created by The author. What will happen when Persephone meets Hades in her dreams?really liked this story.

Hellbent by Tina Glasneck - 4 stars
The story from Hellish continue. It can be read fairly as stand alone.
Sif - college girl that got herself in the middle of Norse gods politics. She has something in her.
Interesting insight in Norse mythology with the modern background.
I really enjoyed reading it.

Great read!

The stories are very diverse, yet entertaining all the same. The authors are very good, and I will be reading more of their stories. I really enjoyed Jackson Dean Chase's Medusa Conspiracy, especially everything Jon Warlock. I can't wait for the next one to come out. ☺

Who wouldn't ask for a collection of books about mythology legends and lore by so many of their favorite authors and even some new ones! I loved each and every one of the mythological worlds in the stories. So many that I will be hunting down the other books in their series and a few that I have already read part of the series.
Hellbent is one of the books that I have read part of the series and it is a continuation from Hellish, but can be read as a standalone. The Hell Chronicles is about Lady Hel and in this book we meet Sif who is a friend of Harley. There is plenty of humor and craziness wrapped up in this story.
I really hope that these books have more to their series incase they are not already part of one.

*Books included in box set so easier for me to find their series at a later date*

Before I start I should mention that I did receive an Advance Review Copy of Legends and Lore Box Set and have read two of the stories so far.

A Goddess of Time by Monica Corwin is a wonderful preview of what is to come in her series Avalon Prophecy. This small preview quickly brings you into the world she has created and gives you a glance into the time traveling main characters lives who can’t quite be together. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next part of their journey.

Ovid’s Folly by Todd Skaggs is a great read that leaves you wanting more. The story sucks you in from the get go. Following the journey of Vee through a day that goes horribly wrong and will alter her life from then on. Her curse in life of having the mythological gods affecting her daily experience has been a secret yet present daily for her is an interesting spin I haven’t come close to reading before. I don’t want to give too much away, as it was a spin I didn’t see coming and don’t want to ruin for others. The ending leaves you wanting more yet still ties everything together. Highly enjoyed this reading experience.

5.0 out of 5 starsSuper Collection From Some of the Best Authors

This is a great collection of the type of stories I love by some of the best authors. So far I have only read The Medusa Conspiracy by Jackson Dean Chase. It is a great story and the second in his Warlock Series. Warlock, a wizard, detective continues his fight with a powerful witch and his exboss, a very powerful wizard. He also has to fight a new enemy, a very old dangerous energy that is Medusa. The trials and tribulations that him and his friends go through will send chills through you. Just when you think it’s all over for Warlock he somehow pulls himself out of the mess he is in and it is a total twist from what you think will happen. Jackson does a tremendous job of keeping you shivering with excitement. I will also read the rest of the books and update my review. I have read books by most of the other authors and I can’t wait to dig into them. Do yourself a favor and get some great mythology stories from some great authors for a less than a cup of coffee. They will keep you engrossed for hours.

Hellbent by Tina Glasneck
Lady Hel continues to be an interesting character, just as I always knew she would be, but now we’ve been introduced to Sif as well. This young woman has a life that I do not envy in the least: pushed about on the gods’ chessboard with very little say in the matter. But what happens when she starts to take back some of that power and starts making decisions on her own? Why, all Hel(l) breaks loose. But you’ll have to read it to find out more.
Stealing Persephone by Isadora Brown
A quick read with a new and novel take on the ancient Greek gods. What's an ordinary girl to do when she has a power no one believes exists any more and she has attracted the attention of the brooding king of the Underworld? She listens to the one that's never steered her wrong in her life: her heart.
I received complimentary advanced copies of these stories.

3.5 stars. If you love mythological tales, then this is a set of stories you have to get! Add in some diverse writers and it gets even better. The variety of authors and storylines will keep you riveted for many hours. You cannot go wrong with this set. There are stories for everyone included. Some of the stories contain violence and sex, so definitely 18+.

So far I have only read Stealing Persephone by Isadora Brown. But this story alone is worth the cost of this set, and you get way more stories than just one. I purchased the set and look forward to reading the rest of them.

REVIEW FOR STEALING PERSEPHONE: This is a standalone mythical story with an HEA. I really liked this story as it isn't a typical romance. It is a quick read so perfect for the lunch hour or while waiting at a game.

*I have only read Stealing Persephone in this mythological anthology.

Stealing Persephone by Isadora Brown is a short and very entertaining read.
They meet in her dreams and Hades is smitten. She should be afraid of him; all around him is death but Persephone is intrigued. Could the God of the underworld really have feelings for her?!
I was enjoying the story very much but then it just ended. In all fairness, in not much of a short story kind of girl but I was entertained for a moment.

4.5 stars. I read most of these. The first one in there, a cute, funny story about Poseidon and the Lady of the Lake, starts the set off lightly. Later on, I read about minotaurs, Celtic gods and loyal brothers, Persephone, Hermes, a modern Medusa, Baba Yaga, and more.

I really liked Hearts and Arrows, which I will definitely be reading the sequel to, along with Mercury Rising, but my favorite by far was Hearth, Home, and Havoc! I laughed so hard with that one.

A great boxed set, well worth the money.

Well I had a number of authors I wanted to read in this set and loved all of their books. Seems there is a mixture of mythological and gods and goddess type read which I of course love. Al of them are short stories so while delicious in so many ways, in other's just not long enough. These are the authors whose books just made my day The romantic yet tragic story of Persephone. Love vs a pair of shoes. One heart needed 3 hearts healed. A goddess and a single mother as well. Just a hint of what's in store for you. Fun, suspense, supernatural.

Hellbent review Tina Glasneck
This is the second book in the series. We get to visit characters from the first book and meet some new ones in this book. There is a lot of fascination on Norse mythology and Thor particularly. This book had magic, craziness, southern manners, and humor. There is missunderstandings that clash with anothers understanding of sides "good vs evil." A fun quick read. I would suggest reading the first one but this can be read as a standaone.

This is a great set - my fave being Hellbent by Tina Glasneck. It is book 2 but it can be read as a standalone. Hellbent continues the story of Lady Hel. She is such a great female lead in that she is completely relatable. In book 2 we learn more about her and knowing her more understand why she is the way she is. Of course the Author does not give it all away so I cant wait for Book 3

I bought this for RJ Blain's novella, which was so fun and hilarious. How does a single mom raise a goddess? With much confusion. Combined with having to deal with the obsessed ex- from the inferno, our single mom has her hands so full. I loved this story.
