Devil on a Hunt

Rate this book
No Devilish man every renegaded on a bet, resulting in Isaac being stuck on a ghost hunting trip. A sceptic of anything that goes bump during the night (or day), this sucked hugely. But a sweet little believer is his unexpected partner. Cue the heat…and the spooks!

Laughter makes the world go around, love makes it sweet, and the Devilish clan of men make it a very hot and entertaining ride!

Ang Kemp is an Aussie who likes to walk on the crazy-fun-hot side of the keyboard now and again. Sometimes she has a very circumspect humour and imagination which she likes to intermittently let out of the lock box. When not wallowing happily in Devilish men, she does other stuff like working the day job, trying not to swear, running around after her cats, reading, laughing at dirty jokes and procrastinating.

She’s especially good at the last bit.

Oh my god! YES!! Alright, so I was completely surprised with this book. I love the author so I don't read the blurb, I just read the book. When I realized it was one of my favorite things.... GHOST HUNTING... I almost died with happiness. Here's the thing, I loved Rose. So much so I saw parts of me inside of her. Isaac--- in the end I wanted to jump for joy. I laughed the whole time, got chills and wanted more. This author is wonderful when it comes to relating with her characters, even though this was short i still fell in love. *sigh* I'm so happy.

A second hit from in the romantic comedy genre, "Devil on a Hunt" by Ang Kemp. Alike the 1st in the series, "Devil in the Kitchen", the story is filled with fun, humor, sarcasm, romance, plus this time, there is also the element of the paranormal to liven up the story. Ang Kemp definitely knows the formula with success for a great read, with her blend of tempting "devilish" characters, unsuspecting females who can't resist their moves, mixed with a whole lot of Aussie humor! A captivating read that will have you hooked from the start.

The "Devil on A Hunt" stands out as a 5-star read for many reasons including:
*A consistent approach to the plot as a series, where the "Devilish Men" continue to prank each other into jokes that they know the other brother will detest or rile them the most. Here in "Devil on a Hunt", Isaac who doesn't believe in anything slightly paranormal is pranked into accepting a hunt for ghosts in a historical mansion.
*Both the setting of the historical house and the ghost hunt is captured so vividly, that the situation was easy to imagine and feel a part of. Backed with great attention to detail, with everything from the history of the house, the couples who would attend such a gathering, the equipment that was brought along to assess the paranormal, along to the atmosphere created from a cemetery, plus much more, all combined added depth to the story, increasing enjoyment of the book.
*The "Devilish Men" remained true to the series, with this time brother Isaac, who was not on the same journey as the believers, to him using the situation to better the time with an attractive ghost hunter. The sexy allure of the "Devilish Men" continued. The mix of their laid back, very sexy personalities, taking situations lightly, and accepting their fate in the pranks, definitely added to the appeal of the story.
*From the very start, with the new sexy covers showcasing the very sexy bodies of the Devilish brothers, to a title that best shows the focus of the story, with an introduction into the ongoing brotherly family pranks, to a new and spooky setting, to an unexpected ending, this book certainly has it all.

I look forward to reading the next addition in the "Devilish Men" series, and can't wait to see what the next prank entails. Ang Kemp continues to demonstrate her writing skills in the romantic comedy genre, making her stories original, creative and fun to read. I recommend the "Devilish Men" series to all readers who love a laugh, and a light humorous read.

Funny book!

This is a funny book! The author has a way with wit! Lol! This one is a bit spooky, with ghosts and all. Isaac lost a bet to his brother and had to go on a ghost hunt. He meets Rose, who wants to see a ghost, but is a wee bit chicken. It is so cute though. This is a novella and can be read in under two hours.
