It's a good book for someone who hasn't read anything about communication and since there are manga in between each chapter, it's probably easier to digest than other text-only books. While there are definitely some good lessons to be learned here, it's nothing I haven't read already. The book also sounds a bit neolib-ish at the end, focusing on individual responsibility to the point of suggesting that criticizing about the environment or the structural problem is "blaming others". Although I guess most self-help books are like that.
