Stealing isn’t personal. At least not to Quinn Montgomery. Yet, when her latest heist to steal from the Adolphus family tailspins her into a supernatural world filled with lycans, witches, and vampires she must learn to steel her nerves and…her heart.
Unfortunately for her, Ryatt Adolphus has other plans for the sultry thief. Discovering she is branded with his soulmark, Ryatt leaves little to the imagination about his sinful intent to have Quinn by his side. Forever and always
Working together, they must face down enemies, new and old, to recover an ancient artifact for their allies in the Trinity Coven. A group of witches whose power grows day by day.
Can the midnight scoundrel win the heart of a thief? Or will Ryatt’s heart be the one that is stolen?

Do you believe in magic? Rebecca Main does. Her magic wand is a well-worn pen that’s been known to weave stories that transport readers to other worlds. Other enchanting pastimes of Rebecca include traveling and showering her two cats, Dorcas and Pudge, with love.

Quinn Montgomery leads a dangerous life, but she too does not know about the supernatural world. She fights her attraction to Ryatt, but I think we all know she will not be able to resist and will join the Adolphus Pack. She is human, but that doesn’t stop her from making her own mark and facing down her fears.
The second part in the series and it shows a bit plotwise. Again a woman not aware about the supernatural finds herself mixed up in said supernatural....meeting the Lycan that so happens to be her Soulmate, or I should say that they happen to be the Lycan's soulmate. The woman tries to run from said connection but finds him irresistable. After some troubles they end up together anyway.
Almost a copy of the plot of book 1.
What saved this book from being dreadfully boring is the two main characters. Quinn is a thief that trusts nobody and Ryatt is the Lycan who falls head over heels for her. The spark between them, the sass, the sniping is what gave their story life.
The vampires made sense...sort of....plot wise, also a fairy shows up...yay?
Like the last book the final act felt very rushed with again an attack we don't really see. Why are the enemy attacking again? I have no clue. Introducing the fairy feels like an obvious set up for book 3 which I might as well read since I now feel like I have to finish the series.
WOW. Don't read this book at work. You will be blushing from head to toe. This book—or rather—these characters are a world away from the first book. I found the pace to be the same though. It was a quick read that only took a day to complete. Quinn and Ryatt are made for each other, and I liked the dynamic between them. Both are unapologetic and completely themselves. They own every decision they make, and when there are consequences, they navigate them with... well, their own flare. This book brought the heat and I truly enjoyed every minute of it.
A definite improvement over the first book in the series; I found myself staying within Ms. Main’s world with less difficulty and was able to enjoy the characters and storyline this time around. Midnight Scoundrel is a paranormal goodie filled vamps, lycans, and witches oh my! Great chemistry and lots of heat between these pages!

This second book of series isn't as developed as the first. I enjoyed the writers view of each character a d the storyline was interesting, but I think the characters will have some prominence in the third story. TA TA
The series has some interesting twists, turns, and good humor! I love the world the author is building and look forward to seeing where it takes me! I will say, this is not my favorite couple dynamic, but still well written.
This book was a great 2nd to the series. I couldn’t eat to see how things would continue. No spoilers from me because you deserve to go on this written journey with your own imagination
After reading the first book in this series I was more prepared for the writing style and these books in general. I knew what to expect from it and found that because of this I could enjoy it more without being shocked that it wasn't done in the way I was expecting it to be done. The characters were interesting and I really enjoyed the tension and banter of the couple in this book. It was interesting to see how the girl wasn't anything supernatural and had to adapt to this new world she knew nothing about, I am aware this was similar to the last book but at least the main girl in that was a supernatural being and just didn't know it. I felt like the soulmates in this one were well matched compared to the last one and they were obviously suited for each other.

Oh I sank right into this book, and then devoured three more in quick succession... absolutely wonderful, the text flows well, the worldbuilding is solid if a little restricted as yet, and the alpha's are grrr and maybe a little too grrr for some, but I enjoyed it a lot, a whole lot, and the fact that it has a wonderful humour to it too.
If you love your alpha / heroin get together's - I wholeheartedly recommend this book
