Well I read Beast's brother, Caleb's story first not knowing this was a series....so I had to learn more about his no-nonsense brother, Beast. In "Her Beast", Beast Carson was a bad man who led the Carson family's illegal activities. Hero was blunt, bossy, focused and very much so feared by most because due his business dealings. If anyone betrayed him, Caleb took care of that problem IMMEDIATELY!
His nephew, Dwayne was failing miserably in high school and he asked heroine Hope, to tutor him. She agrees and their first tutoring session was held at Beast's home. Beast didn't like or trust stranger in his house so when he sees Hope in his library alone he asked who she was very harshly. Strangely enough, Hope didn't fear him... at all like most people did so of course he was intrigued with the 18 year old girl. She immediately tells Beast she was tutoring Dwayne but not interested in the popular Dwayne in the least. After the first tutoring session, Dwayne tell his uncle that heroine was not threat and was certainly not a cop or rival ... she was a smart student who attended his school who was shunned and gossiped about due to her father holding up his wife and daughter in their home for 2 weeks killing the wife, shooting the daughter in the stomach and turning the gun on himself. We later learn while Beast was talking to Caleb about the girl that the gun the father used was purchased from the Carson Family. I think guilt lead this story at first but after awhile both H/h were very attracted to one another.
I won't give anymore spoilers to "Her Beast" but all-in-all, I really enjoyed Beast and Hope's May-to- December story.

*3.5* Old school alpha feeling to it. Age gap, h is 18, H is 37. He's never been in love, she's a plus size virgin. He's a mobster, she's tutoring his nephew. Simplistic and kind of sweet, I liked it!

I love a good May-December romance. Hope and Beast were perfect together what a great couple. Steamy love scenes and sizzling chemistry. Epilogue was so sweet. Heroine gave birth to a baby girl and Beast became a doting father! Adorable. Can't wait for Caleb's story!

When I first started to read the blurb, I though she end up with the guy she is to tutor. And I like those stories. But when I released she will end up with his uncle, that was even better. There's just something about stories with older guys. And Beast isn't just an older guy. He's dangerous, controling and unapologetic. He takes what he want. But what's his, he protects with his last breath. Beast has a soft spot, so to speak, no matter how much he would deny that. Only the lucky ones gets to 'see' it, though. Hope being one of those rare lucky ones.
Talking about Hope... She's strong and... Well, she was great, because she didn't struggled that much when she realized those rumours about Beast were actually true. Hope accepted him as he was. He may be a bad man, but he was the best where she was concerned. And that was what mattered the most at the end. Another thing I liked how she reacted to a... Well, what Beast made to feel guilty about. I didn't blamed him. I didn't saw it as him having any part in it. If not him, it would have been someone else.
And I'm not sure, why people called her weird. What is it with people puting all in one category? If you move on faster then others after tragedy and don't hit rock bottom before doing that, you are a weird one? People react differently and each needs different time to heal. Doesn't matter if this a month or a year. It doesn't make it any less painful experience or make you colder person, because you try to move on faster then others.
PS Caleb needs his own book. Hope he will get one. Especially after those little snippets.

2.0-2.5 RATING - If you've read this author before then you know what you are getting. This book was that. If you are expecting a quality read, lower your expectations and you should be fine.

What a beast!
I have read a lot of Sam Crescent books and I have loved them all, there is some that is my favorite than the others but they are all great. This story is one of my favorites, Beast is a beast in the bed and so protective of Hope in the day, I didn't even notice that Beast was older than Hope because she didn't act like a eighteen girl, Hope had a sad past that made her to be a loner but so sweet, their love story was hot and interesting! I will be recommend this book to all romance readers💗

I was torn on what to rate this, because of a few scenes, and some things that were said. Don't get me wrong, I love Sam Crescents books, and this one wasn't horrible, but something is keeping me from rating it higher.. I just can't pinpoint what.
I did enjoy certain aspects of the story. Which was enough for me to finish the book. I will definitely be checking out Carson's book.

She's 18 and still in high school, a few months away from graduating. He's 37 and the uncle of the classmate that she's tutoring. She has plans to leave town as soon as she graduates. He's not mafia but he's the big bad boss man and gets whatever he wants and he wants her. He bribes her aunt (who doesn't care for her) to let her move into his house with him and his nephew. Greedy aunt agrees because they're never gotten along after her brother (heroine's father) killed her mother, shot the heroine and then killed himself. From there it isn't long before he's giving her "lessons" in the bedroom but he tells her that it's not going to go anywhere because he doesn't do relationships, just sexytimes, so she better have feelings for him during this time.

Looking soul deep
The characters in this book are fantastic! The author added so much depth and detail to them and their story. I love how it’s all about family, and a single glance changed the course for them all. This age gap romance drew me in because both characters have survived so much to get to where they are at. The HEA is everything I had hoped for and I can’t wait to see what’s next for this family.

I do not like when the H has met the h and instead of working through his infatuation, he goes to another woman. It just shows me that he is not an alpha but a weak man who is not able to control himself.

Hope Miller was the weird girl at school. Her father was a drug addict and one night he went mad, held her mother and her hostage, and then killed her mother and shot Hope. Now everyone thinks she is weird as to them she is going on with her life as if nothing happened. But Hope promised her mother she would graduate and move on with her life, so she had a plan. So that is what she is doing tutoring students, which is why she is in the popular guy's house. Where she meets his uncle, Beast.
For some reason Beast Carson has an attraction to Hope, he wants to protect her and take care of her. But he wasn't a good man, and he was certainly not good enough for someone as pure and innocent and young as Hope. So why can't he stay away from her. He can't allow her to fall for him and he can't give her what she wants, because he has a secret that he knows will take Hope away from him.
I enjoyed this story a lot. Hope was strong and take no prisoners kind of heroine and Beast was a hard cynical man that you just can't help falling for. Quick and hot and so much goodness!
I wonder if Caleb will get his own book (hint hint)

I don’t do age gaps, and didn’t realize this was one. Hope is 18 and Beast is 37. Beast is so selfish and I only say this because Hope is so young. Beast was dominant, sexy and possessive I love that, except when he first took Hope, not sexy or hot. It was more let’s get this virgin thing out the way. Also, it just bothered me that Hope is/was in high school the whole relationship.
Beast said they are not Mafia, but the sure enough act like the mafia. No action in this story. This story fully focusing on Beast and Hopes growing relationship.
Overall, I don’t do that big of an age gap books as that’s not my thing. If this is what you like you will definitely like. If you took away their age gap while dating her in high school then I liked the story.
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s definitely about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the stories you read. I hope this review was helpful.

So hot, I loved Her Beast by Sam Crescent! Poor Hope, she is 18 and an orphan. Her father killed her mother and shot her, she is now forced to live with her aunt who is an awful woman. Hope just wants to graduate high school, and leave town for a college far away. She agrees to help tutor Dwayne a class mate of hers.
Hope wasn't expecting Dwayne's uncle Beast - yep, Beast is his name - to be so sexy. Beast wasn't expecting Hope at all. He was initially pissed that Dwayne invited her into his home until he saw Hope's eyes. He knew Hope wasn't his nephew's type, but Hope certainly becomes his type.
There is an element of the forbidden because Beast is so much older and Hope is still in high school, this just makes it hotter. Beast doesn't do love but with Hope around it looks like he will change his ways.
Lovely story, two damaged people, one good and one bad, that really need each other. Sigh worthy. This is a hot and steamy read!

Gripping!
This was a very entertaining and enthralling story. While Reading,I felt as though the electricity, chemistry, animal attraction between the two characters was flowing through me. The author painted a vivid picture in my head of every scene she wrote. The characters were also really likable. Beast is a bad man in the streets, but at home he’s literally tame when it comes to his woman-and only she gets his soft side. His nephew who he is now raising is typically spoiled in my ways that wealthy kids can be spoiled-beast needed to out his foot down sooner that kid is a schmuck. Beasts brother very much interested me and I hope the author gives him his own book with the girl he was given as collateral!

I really liked this story
I’m not going to lie, I enjoyed this story. I thought it would be a cute short, but I was truly enthralled and even with the age gap, it was really good. My only complaints, if I can even cal them that are..how was Christmas? Did the men enjoy it after not having any women in the house for years? What happened to Dwayne after the party? Is Caleb gettin a book to give us the story of the women has holed up at his house? What can I say, I need closure.😃

Age Gap Romance at its Best!
I love Sam Crescent’s BBW heroines and this story is made a thousand times better with the May-December age gap romance element. The forbidden taboo nature of a young woman and much older man, as well as an illicit romance between innocence and dark depravity, this story kept me turning the pages until I was done. There was the needed slow burn in the beginning that set the tone for it to be more believable and easier to connect to the characters and their context for the decisions on why they initially choose to be together. Beast and Hope are strong characters that don’t necessarily need each other but find each other and the love they both desperately need for more fulfilled lives. Love this story!

My Beast
I loved this. True to Sam Crescent style, it was sweet, short and with a tiny bit of conflict to make it interestikng.
I loved the slight, modern day beauty and the Beast theme that it had, not true to the story, just a little bit.
Hope tutors Beast's nephew, and Beast sees her. She is 18 and he is 37. He is bad news but can't help his attraction to her. She's a social outcast for surviving a homicidal father. I loved this. True to Sam Crescent style, it was sweet, short and with a tiny bit of conflict to make it interestikng.
I loved the slight, modern day beauty and the Beast theme that it had, not true to the story, just a little bit.

This story is short, fast paced and enjoyable. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I really enjoyed this book. I liked Beast and his darkness. I liked that although he tried, he couldn’t resist Faith. His love for her was clear to see. I liked Faith. Despite everything she had been through and all she had lost, she was strong. She didn’t let what happened hold her back. The chemistry between her and Beast was undeniable. I really liked them as a couple.
I liked that when Faith learnt Beast’s link to her past situation, she forgave him. She didn’t kick off nor did she leave him.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

July 11, 2019DNF so no rating. Another crime boss/killer, no change of ways, no becoming a better man, he just pulls her into his dangerous, bloody life but it’s ok because he’ll protect her. Where that line is drawn is kinda up in the since he happily killed his brother so being family doesn’t seem to be much protection. H repeatedly has sex with OW after meeting met the h. Had to stop reading when the H started thinking about her living in a “house full of monsters” except for his nephew, who’s “time would come”. Why care if your nephew passing HS history if you just plan on turning him into a brothel owning, gun selling killer?

Holy Hotness!!!!
Beast was freaking amazing right from the start!!!! I loved that Hope was such a strong, brave , deep character and not just your typical younger woman. Beast himself was all Alpha! All your mother warned you about and all you have fantasized about!! Put them together and you get a hot as hell combo that turns into a pretty great HEA!!! Has some dark back story that may not be everyone's cup of tea but I totally loved everything about this book!!!!

This is a really really intense story, first of the series. Old friends, unknown enemies, deceit, betrayal, anger, revenge all play a part along with intense bdsm training. Kidnapped to be a sex slave and as a part of revenge against her father had more repercussions than either Derek or Scarlett anticipated. Can’t wait to read more of this hot saga.
