A feisty ballerina with a broken heart. A minister-in-training whose faith can work miracles. Can two strong-willed people find true love and a match made in heaven?
JESSICA & JAMES: A Love Story is a boxed collection of three romances set in Snow Valley, Montana—the saga of rising star ballerina Jessica and the sparks that fly between her and gorgeous James Douglas, the new pastor in town.

James can not only dish back Jessica’s finely tuned sarcasm but understands grief all too well, turning Jessica’s world upside down.
Can Jessica take another risk on love, or will she keep her heart closed off forever?
Enemies to lovers and second chance romance! Fall in love all over again with Jessica & James, Snow Valley's beloved and most popular couple.
Kimberley Montpetit once spent all her souvenir money at the La Patisserie shops when she was in Paris—on the arm of her adorable husband. The author grew up in San Francisco, another swoon-worthy city, loves all things Parisian and chocolate and lives in a small town along the Rio Grande with her family.
Kimberley has won many awards for her work, including the Southwest Book Award, the Whitney Award, the Arizona/New Mexico Book Award, is a Crystal Kite Finalist (SCBWI) and included in the Bank Street College Best Books of the Year.
She once stayed in a haunted castle tower room at Borthwick Castle in Scotland, sailed on the Seine in Paris, walked the beaches of Normandy, eaten in numerous French cafes, ridden a camel in Petra, Jordan, sunbathed on Waikiki, shopped the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, and spent the night in an old Communist hotel in Bulgaria.
She adores all baked goodies; brownies, éclairs, donuts, tarts, and pie, and makes a lot of chocolate chip cookies while revising.
Kimberley is, of course, hard at work on her next novel(s).
I love a story with very different characters. Jessica is sarcastic, hardened through life experience, and very dedicated. She's lost her faith and on paper, really wouldn't make a great pastor's wife, but a run-in while back in her hometown throws her into the path of new pastor, James, and the sparks ignite from the first meeting. James is very compassionate, patient, and human, but they are definitely an "opposites attract" kind of connection.
Reading these stories together, with the bonus chapter, was so much fun. I loved seeing the progress and growth in a solid reading, because it was very apparent and really captured my heart, especially as they each try to figure out what they truly want from life and their relationship. They both have histories to move past and the journey was definitely a touching one.
I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again--I LOVE and adore Snow Valley and it's inhabitants. I loved visiting once again and my time there was well spent. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to a wonderful stay.
Content: mild romance (kissing); very mild language
I love Jessica and James! Their love story was beautiful. Lots of ups and downs with the need to heal from past wounds. Plenty of chemistry and sparks throughout. I love so many different scenes throughout the story with these two. This new collection with two novels about Jessica and James' meeting (which is very swoon worthy), their growing friendship, dating, falling in love and becoming engaged to the new bonus of their wedding is fabulous! All of the ballet scenes and dancing were very well written and had me grinning.
Those who have read the two books before they were put together in this set are in for a wonderful surprise when they read the wedding story. Those who haven't read it before are definitely in for a wonderful surprise from the first encounter of Jessica and James to the final kiss. I absolutely loved it! And there's a great bonus within the wedding story for us readers which has me actually really hoping for possibly another little break off story???? Maybe? I can't give away any names but I will tell you that there's another couple who we've watched from the beginning book who have a fun surprise. I love the playful banter between Jessica and James in the wedding story. So fun and sweet. Took me back many years ago when my hubby and I were getting ready for our wedding and all the love and excitement. Ah, young, sweet love.
All those Happily Ever After lovers out there, this is a story for you to grab, snuggle up with a comfy blanket and get lost in the love story of two characters who are not perfect but growing, healing and learning to love and be loved. Be warned that you might just be sucked into it and not want to set it down or to say goodbye to these characters once the final page has been read.
I can't recommend this one enough.
If anybody wants to read my thoughts about the first two books more in depth you can read my reviews for them here...Risking it all for Love (book 1) and Sealed with a Kiss (book 2).
Content: Clean. Some mild religious aspects, death and healing. Sweet kisses but nothing further.
I loved this clean holiday romance! Jessica is a talented ballerina who has moved away from her home town after a tragedy. She has left her home, family, and her faith. She finally comes home after many years and her life gets turned upside down. Jessica meets James, the soon to be pastor, and with a little holiday magic sparks begin to fly between the unlikely pair. I love their chemistry and how James handles her sarcasm and is able to help her. It made me sad when they started growing distant but I am glad they were able to find their way to their happily ever after.
This series of 3 books is why I read romance novels. The arc of "Pastor Dude" and Jess's love story was wonderfully written, well thought out, and satisfyingly consistent. The nature of their struggle to reconcile their disparate lives, amending their dreams, reconciling their goals was refreshingly honest, original, and unflinching when dealing with the pain of their growth. Many tears tracked down my cheeks; of pain, joy, sorrow, and thankfulness. I love this particular story set in the world of "Snow Valley", a town I wish I could live in.
I love books that give me pretty bows with a neatly tied up happy ending. Reading part one of Jessica and James’s love story was satisfying. Reading part two was refreshing and so much more! Reading this box set with the bonus was like Christmas morning! A beautiful package tied up with the perfect bow! I love Snow Valley! If you visit, I bet you will love it too.
A love story of loss, confusion, and God's grace. At times I thought that Jessica and James would not make it. Living thousands of miles apart and with different dreams their relationship seemed impossible. But God works miracles and they will need a miracle to make it to the altar.
A sweet love story of two people who have their own callings that interfere with their relationship. It takes a lot of work to find their happily ever after.
