3.5 stars such an amazing re-telling of Rapunzel. Ryder, owner of an exclusive BDSM club meets Rae, who was locked in a secluded home. there's funny moments, emotional ones and of course hot sex with Ryder (and loads of spanking)
only thing that didn't work well for me was probably Rae being kinda annoying, she's feisty but talks a little too much.

Man, I am loving Jane's books. This is the second book I have read, and they are getting better and better!
This one brings a girl held almost hostage by a man that says he is her father. So when a man climbs her window because he thinks she is hurt, he just might be reason enough to leave that house.
Ryder having his car break down in the middle of nowhere is not something he needed. So when he finds Rae in a house in the middle of nowhere being kept there he offers her a way out. But will she take it?
This is a different take on Rapunzel with her beautiful hair and being stuck in her room. You just get a notty twist with the BDSM involved.
I do have to say if you have never read a BDSM book, try Jane's. She really walks you through the community. It is a different kind of read than some of the other books in the genre.

Whoa! This is definitely one steamy thrilling revenge ride. This is the 1st book I've read from this author, and this will definitely not be my last.

I have always loved fairy tales but will admit that as an adult, now I like ones that are full of spice. Ms. Jane Henry has spun an interesting twist to Rapunzel. Kidnapped from birth by a loan shark and kept in a secluded home, Rowena will finally meet her handsome Prince when he stumbles upon her home late one night.
Rae is twenty and lives in seclusion; she isn’t even allowed outside. For many years, she had other people around, the maids, cook, housekeeper, and groundskeepers. But now that she is older, she rarely sees anyone except the cold man she calls Father. Reading and her imagination is her only avenue of freedom. She knows he is a bad man and that he is dangerous. She tries to block out sounds and pretends evil deeds aren’t taking place.

I've always loved fairy tales and now I simply love the grown up version of them. This retelling of Rapunzel is spot on but with darker elements. Ryder is the perfect Prince who is trying to rescue Rae from an evil "father " who has kept her locked away from the world. Will he succeed? And who can they really trust? Friends aren't what they seem to be and it's going to take a lot to figure out who is on their side. Loved the interaction between Ryder and Rae. This is one hot story you don't want to miss.

Really liked this alot!! I was obsessed. Ryder was so intriguing and dark and commanding. But he was so patient with Ray/Anne. And he definitely needed to be because she was a little spitfire. I do wish the ending didnt feel as rushed. I cant say more without spoiling it but regardless it was really good. I am jumping right into Mafias Daddy since I forgot that one before this. I love these daddy books!!!

Je me suis précipitée dans ma chambre, j'ai fermé et verrouillé la porte. J'ai rapidement pris ma décision .

En tremblant, je sortis le téléphone du tiroir et composai le numéro que j'avais mémorisé. Mes mains tremblaient. Et si Ryder ne répondait pas ? Je fermai les yeux, attendant que le téléphone sonne. Mon cœur s'emballa quand j'entendis sa voix .
« Bonjour, vous êtes chez Ryder . »
« Ryder ! C'est... c'est Rae . »
«Laissez-moi un message au bip .»
Un bip retentit et je fixai le téléphone. Ce n'était donc pas lui après tout mais sa messagerie vocale. Je soupirai et au son du bip, je raccrochai le téléphone .
Maintenant que je l'avais appelé, je regardais fixement le téléphone, ne sachant pas trop quoi en faire. J'avais lu quelques romans d'Agatha Christie et j'en savais assez sur l'espionnage pour soupçonner une sorte d'écoute téléphonique, mais l'appel avait été si bref. Je devais d'une manière ou d'une autre détruire le téléphone. Si mon père découvrait le numéro de Ryder, alors tout serait perdu. Mais j'avais besoin que le téléphone continue à m'appeler. Je devais continuer à essayer .
Ma main tremblait tandis que je le regardais. Qu'est-ce qui était le plus important ? La sécurité de Ryder ou la mienne ? Mon regard se tourna vers le grand verre d'eau posé sur la table de nuit à côté de mon lit, celui qui restait de la nuit précédente. Il ne me restait plus qu'à le laisser tomber dedans. Quand je le soulevai au-dessus de l'eau, à quelques centimètres au-dessus du bord du verre, il s'illumina et bourdonna dans ma main .
Je haletai et m'assis sur le lit, les yeux fixés sur le téléphone. Je n'avais jamais reçu d'appel entrant. J'appuyai sur le bouton vert qui clignotait devant moi, pensant que c'était le bouton qui répondrait à l'appel et le portai à mon oreille .
« Allo ? » murmurai-je .
« Salut. J'ai reçu un appel d'un numéro que je ne connais pas. » La peur et le soulagement se mêlaient en moi. C'était la voix de Ryder, profonde et autoritaire. Il s'arrêta, puis dit : « Rae ? »
"Ouais?"
"M'as tu appelé ? "
Je m'arrêtai et écoutai. Le silence régnait devant ma porte, ce qui n'était pas bon .
Je me suis éloignée le plus possible de la porte, jusqu’à la grande banquette près de la fenêtre où je lisais. « Oui », ai-je murmuré au téléphone. « Est-ce que tu m’entends ? »
« À peine. Est-ce que ça va ? »
« Je… je… » Les mots me manquèrent alors que ma décision impétueuse de l’appeler me semblait soudainement si stupide .
« Ton père est à la maison . »
J'ai fermé les yeux et j'ai hoché la tête, même s'il ne pouvait pas me voir .
« Rae ? »
« Oui, » murmurai-je. « Il est à la maison. Je dois partir d'ici, Ryder. Je dois sortir. Et il essaie de te retrouver. Tu ne peux pas non plus appeler la police. C'est trop dangereux, parce que ce sont ses amis . »
« Quoi ? Jésus. Où es-tu maintenant ? »
« Je suis à ma fenêtre. » Toujours en chuchotant, j'ai essayé de lui parler tout en écoutant simultanément les bruits à l'extérieur de ma porte .
"Est-ce qu'il t'a fait mal ?"
Comment pourrais-je répondre à cette question ? Il ne m'a jamais fait de mal physiquement, mais chaque fois que nous parlions, il me rappelait à quel point je dépendais de lui, à quel point j'étais stupide, à quel point je devrais rester ici et ne jamais partir .
« Ne réponds pas, dit-il. Ce sera plus sûr quand il fera nuit. J'arrive, mais j'ai besoin de ta coopération. Sortir par la fenêtre est vraiment délicat car il n'y a rien à quoi s'accrocher. Est-ce qu'une des autres fenêtres de ta maison a une issue de secours ? »
« Je n'en ai aucune idée. Je ne crois pas. Oh. Oh, attends ! Il y a une petite alcôve sous la chambre d'amis. Si je pouvais y accéder, je pourrais peut-être descendre . »
Mon cœur battait fort tandis que je préparais mon départ. Je n'étais jamais sortie de cette maison, pas même une seule fois, depuis aussi longtemps que je me souvienne .
« Allez dans cette pièce. Soyez prêt à partir. D'accord ? »
"Oui merci . "
« Raccrochez le téléphone maintenant et soyez prudent . »
"D'accord."
Nous avons raccroché et j'ai regardé fixement le téléphone et j'ai avalé avec difficulté. Ma main tremblait tellement que je l'ai fourrée dans mes poches pendant que je préparais mon évasion. Si je laissais le téléphone ici, il trouverait le numéro de Ryder, et si je le prenais avec moi, il pourrait peut-être me localiser. Ce n'était pas prudent de garder le téléphone. Sur un coup de tête, je l'ai soulevé au-dessus du verre d'eau et je l'ai laissé tomber dedans. De l'eau a éclaboussé ma commode et le téléphone a fait des bonds de haut en bas de façon folle. J'ai fermé les yeux brièvement. C'était mon seul contact avec le monde extérieur et je l' avais ruiné .
Mais j'allais de l'avant. Je n'avais plus besoin du téléphone. Je devais m'échapper .
Ryder était en chemin et il serait bientôt là. Qu'est-ce que j'emporterais avec moi ? J'ai regardé autour de moi dans ma chambre, les murs nus et le lit spartiate, avec son couvre-lit rose froissé et sa pile d'oreillers. Dans un coin de la pièce, j'avais des objets artisanaux sur lesquels je travaillais de temps en temps, des broderies, des aquarelles et des perles. Rien de tout cela n'avait d'importance. Tout cela me rappellerait une vie de captive .
Je redressai les épaules et me dirigeai vers ma porte, car je devais me rendre dans la chambre d'amis et repérer la voie de sortie. Mais lorsque j'essayai d'ouvrir la poignée, à ma grande surprise, je la trouvai verrouillée. Je la tournai à nouveau, mais elle ne bougea pas. Je fermai les yeux, souhaitant que la porte s'ouvre, mais sachant qu'elle ne le ferait pas .
Je tombai par terre et m'assis lourdement, repliant mes jambes sous moi, fermant les yeux .
Il n'y avait aucune chance qu'il sache déjà que je partais .
C'était ma punition pour mon mensonge .

«Dis-moi tout ce que tu sais sur ton père .»
Je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'il me pose cette question, alors j'ai baissé la tête et mes paroles sont devenues plus étouffées. « Que veux-tu savoir ? »
« Que fait-il comme travail ? Quel genre d’homme est-il ? Comment t’a-t-il eu ? »
Je secouai la tête, me sentant idiot, car je ne connaissais pratiquement aucune des réponses à ses questions. « Eh bien, » me raclai-je la gorge. « Je sais qu’il accorde des prêts aux gens . »
Les yeux de Ryder se plissèrent .
« Il… dit que je suis très spéciale pour lui. Qu’il m’aime. » Aucune réaction. « Mais comme je te l’ai déjà dit, il dit que le monde extérieur est un endroit effrayant et qu’il préfère me protéger des éléments dangereux qui pourraient me faire du mal . »
Toujours aucune réaction .
« Je ne sais pas comment je suis arrivée à vivre avec lui. Il dit que je suis sa fille. » Je m’arrêtai. « Mais je sais que ce n’est pas vrai . »
Ryder pencha la tête sur le côté et ne dit toujours rien, attendant simplement que je lui explique. Il y avait quelque chose dans son regard sévère, dans la façon dont sa mâchoire se serrait et ses sourcils se rapprochaient qui me faisait frémir. Je ne savais pas pourquoi. Je n'avais pas peur de lui. Mais au fond de moi, je savais qu'il était un homme qui pouvait être assez craintif... pas comme mon père. Mais il y avait quelque chose de sérieux dans son comportement que je ne pouvais pas vraiment accepter .
Je pris une mèche de cheveux et l'enroulai autour de mon doigt, la lumière se reflétant sur l'or brillant. « Je sais que je ne suis pas à lui, à cause d'une chose qu'un de ses collaborateurs a dit un jour. J'étais censé être au lit un soir, mais j'avais oublié mon livre dans la salle à manger. Je suis allé le chercher mais je n'ai rien dit, car si je me levais après l'heure du coucher, il me punirait. La porte de son bureau s'est ouverte et j'ai entendu un de ses associés dire que mes parents avaient été retrouvés morts. Ils étaient morts de froid quelque part, je ne sais pas où, mais leurs corps ont été retrouvés. Je suppose qu'il les surveillait. Et c'est tout ce que je sais . »

Je me suis précipitée dans ma chambre, j'ai fermé et verrouillé la porte. J'ai rapidement pris ma décision .
Je ne pouvais pas rester ici une minute de plus, prisonnier du monde extérieur .
« Es-tu retenu ici contre ta volonté ? » avait demandé Ryder. Oui, bon sang. Oui, j’étais …
En tremblant, je sortis le téléphone du tiroir et composai le numéro que j'avais mémorisé. Mes mains tremblaient. Et si Ryder ne répondait pas ? Je fermai les yeux, attendant que le téléphone sonne. Mon cœur s'emballa quand j'entendis sa voix .
« Bonjour, vous êtes chez Ryder . »
« Ryder ! C'est... c'est Rae . »
«Laissez-moi un message au bip .»
Un bip retentit et je fixai le téléphone. Ce n'était donc pas lui après tout mais sa messagerie vocale. Je soupirai et au son du bip, je raccrochai le téléphone .
Maintenant que je l'avais appelé, je regardais fixement le téléphone, ne sachant pas trop quoi en faire. J'avais lu quelques romans d'Agatha Christie et j'en savais assez sur l'espionnage pour soupçonner une sorte d'écoute téléphonique, mais l'appel avait été si bref. Je devais d'une manière ou d'une autre détruire le téléphone. Si mon père découvrait le numéro de Ryder, alors tout serait perdu. Mais j'avais besoin que le téléphone continue à m'appeler. Je devais continuer à essayer .
Ma main tremblait tandis que je le regardais. Qu'est-ce qui était le plus important ? La sécurité de Ryder ou la mienne ? Mon regard se tourna vers le grand verre d'eau posé sur la table de nuit à côté de mon lit, celui qui restait de la nuit précédente. Il ne me restait plus qu'à le laisser tomber dedans. Quand je le soulevai au-dessus de l'eau, à quelques centimètres au-dessus du bord du verre, il s'illumina et bourdonna dans ma main .
Je haletai et m'assis sur le lit, les yeux fixés sur le téléphone. Je n'avais jamais reçu d'appel entrant. J'appuyai sur le bouton vert qui clignotait devant moi, pensant que c'était le bouton qui répondrait à l'appel et le portai à mon oreille .
« Allo ? » murmurai-je .
« Salut. J'ai reçu un appel d'un numéro que je ne connais pas. » La peur et le soulagement se mêlaient en moi. C'était la voix de Ryder, profonde et autoritaire. Il s'arrêta, puis dit : « Rae ? »
"Ouais?"
"M'as tu appelé ? "
Je m'arrêtai et écoutai. Le silence régnait devant ma porte, ce qui n'était pas bon .
Je me suis éloignée le plus possible de la porte, jusqu’à la grande banquette près de la fenêtre où je lisais. « Oui », ai-je murmuré au téléphone. « Est-ce que tu m’entends ? »
« À peine. Est-ce que ça va ? »
« Je… je… » Les mots me manquèrent alors que ma décision impétueuse de l’appeler me semblait soudainement si stupide .
« Ton père est à la maison . »
J'ai fermé les yeux et j'ai hoché la tête, même s'il ne pouvait pas me voir .
« Rae ? »
« Oui, » murmurai-je. « Il est à la maison. Je dois partir d'ici, Ryder. Je dois sortir. Et il essaie de te retrouver. Tu ne peux pas non plus appeler la police. C'est trop dangereux, parce que ce sont ses amis . »
« Quoi ? Jésus. Où es-tu maintenant ? »
« Je suis à ma fenêtre. » Toujours en chuchotant, j'ai essayé de lui parler tout en écoutant simultanément les bruits à l'extérieur de ma porte .
"Est-ce qu'il t'a fait mal ?"
Comment pourrais-je répondre à cette question ? Il ne m'a jamais fait de mal physiquement, mais chaque fois que nous parlions, il me rappelait à quel point je dépendais de lui, à quel point j'étais stupide, à quel point je devrais rester ici et ne jamais partir .
« Ne réponds pas, dit-il. Ce sera plus sûr quand il fera nuit. J'arrive, mais j'ai besoin de ta coopération. Sortir par la fenêtre est vraiment délicat car il n'y a rien à quoi s'accrocher. Est-ce qu'une des autres fenêtres de ta maison a une issue de secours ? »
« Je n'en ai aucune idée. Je ne crois pas. Oh. Oh, attends ! Il y a une petite alcôve sous la chambre d'amis. Si je pouvais y accéder, je pourrais peut-être descendre . »
Mon cœur battait fort tandis que je préparais mon départ. Je n'étais jamais sortie de cette maison, pas même une seule fois, depuis aussi longtemps que je me souvienne .
« Allez dans cette pièce. Soyez prêt à partir. D'accord ? »
"Oui merci . "
« Raccrochez le téléphone maintenant et soyez prudent . »
"D'accord."
Nous avons raccroché et j'ai regardé fixement le téléphone et j'ai avalé avec difficulté. Ma main tremblait tellement que je l'ai fourrée dans mes poches pendant que je préparais mon évasion. Si je laissais le téléphone ici, il trouverait le numéro de Ryder, et si je le prenais avec moi, il pourrait peut-être me localiser. Ce n'était pas prudent de garder le téléphone. Sur un coup de tête, je l'ai soulevé au-dessus du verre d'eau et je l'ai laissé tomber dedans. De l'eau a éclaboussé ma commode et le téléphone a fait des bonds de haut en bas de façon folle. J'ai fermé les yeux brièvement. C'était mon seul contact avec le monde extérieur et je l' avais ruiné .
Mais j'allais de l'avant. Je n'avais plus besoin du téléphone. Je devais m'échapper .
Ryder était en chemin et il serait bientôt là. Qu'est-ce que j'emporterais avec moi ? J'ai regardé autour de moi dans ma chambre, les murs nus et le lit spartiate, avec son couvre-lit rose froissé et sa pile d'oreillers. Dans un coin de la pièce, j'avais des objets artisanaux sur lesquels je travaillais de temps en temps, des broderies, des aquarelles et des perles. Rien de tout cela n'avait d'importance. Tout cela me rappellerait une vie de captive .
Je redressai les épaules et me dirigeai vers ma porte, car je devais me rendre dans la chambre d'amis et repérer la voie de sortie. Mais lorsque j'essayai d'ouvrir la poignée, à ma grande surprise, je la trouvai verrouillée. Je la tournai à nouveau, mais elle ne bougea pas. Je fermai les yeux, souhaitant que la porte s'ouvre, mais sachant qu'elle ne le ferait pas .
Je tombai par terre et m'assis lourdement, repliant mes jambes sous moi, fermant les yeux .
Il n'y avait aucune chance qu'il sache déjà que je partais .
C'était ma punition pour mon mensonge .

«Dis-moi tout ce que tu sais sur ton père .»
Je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'il me pose cette question, alors j'ai baissé la tête et mes paroles sont devenues plus étouffées. « Que veux-tu savoir ? »
« Que fait-il comme travail ? Quel genre d’homme est-il ? Comment t’a-t-il eu ? »
Je secouai la tête, me sentant idiot, car je ne connaissais pratiquement aucune des réponses à ses questions. « Eh bien, » me raclai-je la gorge. « Je sais qu’il accorde des prêts aux gens . »
Les yeux de Ryder se plissèrent .
« Il… dit que je suis très spéciale pour lui. Qu’il m’aime. » Aucune réaction. « Mais comme je te l’ai déjà dit, il dit que le monde extérieur est un endroit effrayant et qu’il préfère me protéger des éléments dangereux qui pourraient me faire du mal . »
Toujours aucune réaction .
« Je ne sais pas comment je suis arrivée à vivre avec lui. Il dit que je suis sa fille. » Je m’arrêtai. « Mais je sais que ce n’est pas vrai . »
Ryder pencha la tête sur le côté et ne dit toujours rien, attendant simplement que je lui explique. Il y avait quelque chose dans son regard sévère, dans la façon dont sa mâchoire se serrait et ses sourcils se rapprochaient qui me faisait frémir. Je ne savais pas pourquoi. Je n'avais pas peur de lui. Mais au fond de moi, je savais qu'il était un homme qui pouvait être assez craintif... pas comme mon père. Mais il y avait quelque chose de sérieux dans son comportement que je ne pouvais pas vraiment accepter .
Je pris une mèche de cheveux et l'enroulai autour de mon doigt, la lumière se reflétant sur l'or brillant. « Je sais que je ne suis pas à lui, à cause d'une chose qu'un de ses collaborateurs a dit un jour. J'étais censé être au lit un soir, mais j'avais oublié mon livre dans la salle à manger. Je suis allé le chercher mais je n'ai rien dit, car si je me levais après l'heure du coucher, il me punirait. La porte de son bureau s'est ouverte et j'ai entendu un de ses associés dire que mes parents avaient été retrouvés morts. Ils étaient morts de froid quelque part, je ne sais pas où, mais leurs corps ont été retrouvés. Je suppose qu'il les surveillait. Et c'est tout ce que je sais . »

« Quoi, ma puce ? » murmurai-je en passant mes mains dans ses cheveux et en tirant fort, de sorte que ses lèvres s'entrouvrirent avant qu'elle ne les lèche .
« J'ai vécu toute ma vie enfermée, traitée comme une petite fille. Ici, avec toi, je veux m'en libérer, effacer mon passé de ma mémoire. Montre-moi, Ryder. Montre-moi ce qu'une femme devrait ressentir. Je veux que tu me donnes ça. » Comme je ne répondais pas au début, elle essaya encore une fois. « S'il te plaît ? Papa ? »

This is not one of those fairy tales that you should read to your child. In fact, you should only read this after any children have gone to sleep because this story may cause spontaneous combustion of your knickers.
Rae has been locked up in her father's tower for her whole life. She's never gotten to do anything, know anyone, or even leave the house. But all that changes when Ryder comes scaling the walls and clambering in through her window.
Ryder's car broke down in the middle of nowhere and he tries to find out where he can go to get help. When he sees some lights out in the distance, he decides to go check out that house. When he sees a young woman get pulled away from the window and scream, he knows that he has to save her. That's when he climbs the wall and into the window so that he can help her. He sneaks out in the middle of the night, after calling a ride. But before he leaves, Ryder leaves his number where Rae can see it to call if she needs help. When she does call for help, he moves heaven and earth to get her the help that she needs.
I'm not kidding when I say that this story is hot. I would be more than happy to sit on Ryder's lap and call him Daddy any time he wanted me to. Especially with the way that he takes care of his little girl. I love that he lets her feel safe enough to want to explore her desires and he's willing to help her with that. Everyone should have someone who loves them like that. The chemistry between the two of them is seriously hot. My only problem with Dungeon Daddy is that it's too short! I wanted so much more!

I have always loved fairy tales but will admit that as an adult, now I like ones that are full of spice. Ms. Jane Henry has spun an interesting twist to Rapunzel. Kidnapped from birth by a loan shark and kept in a secluded home, Rowena will finally meet her handsome Prince when he stumbles upon her home late one night.
Rae is twenty and lives in seclusion; she isn’t even allowed outside. For many years, she had other people around, the maids, cook, housekeeper, and groundskeepers. But now that she is older, she rarely sees anyone except the cold man she calls Father. Reading and her imagination is her only avenue of freedom. She knows he is a bad man and that he is dangerous. She tries to block out sounds and pretends evil deeds aren’t taking place.
Ryder, owner of Limits, the most exclusive BDSM club on the East coast will have a flat tire on a stretch of highway with no cell signal. Walking for what seems like miles, he will see the light in the distance and follow it to a house with a gated yard. Seeing a woman in an upstairs window, he knows someone is home. Hearing her yelp and then not seeing her, he fears she is in danger. Climbing to her window will come with consequences.
The story will have Rae and Ryder meeting, but he will leave, and she will stay. What happens when her father returns home and is enraged? The house has surveillance, and he is a dangerous man. Calling Ryder for help will take this tale to an element of danger and intrigue. Rescuing her and keeping her safe isn’t as simple as he would hope. Ryder knows she has read BDSM books, and she wants to know more about the lifestyle, and he is just the man to help introduce her to it.

Not everyone that you call a trusted friend will be and those who you doubt might surprise you in the end. Protecting Rae will not be an easy task but one that Ryder is determined to do, at all cost. Years of discipline and self-control have aided him in his personal life and business. No one has affected him so strongly as Rae has, and he won’t let her down.
There is a great chemistry between Ryder and Rae. While she is feisty and independent, she also craves the dominance and control that he expects. She acquiesces to his wishes because she desires so much more than she has ever experienced. She will call him Daddy submissively. The story has a great cast of characters, several BDSM scenes, spankings, and explicit sex scenes. The language includes age-play talk, of Daddy/little girl or baby, but not an age-play lifestyle. As with a fairy tale, this one has the coveted happily ever after ending.

I could not put this book down. I read it from beginning to end in one sitting because once you dive into the story, you are hooked. The hints at the fairytale were fun to find, but this is not your typical fairytale romance.
Rae has known nothing more then her father and the house she lives in. The outside was too scary a place to be in, her father taught her. Rae reads books to escape. Ryder's car break down and he stumbles upon the house. He tries to save her as he hears her scream. Rae's father returns home and Ryder must leave without her. Rae decides she wants to see the world and escapes her father's house. But that also means she needs to always look over her shoulder. Rae turns to Ryder and the story unfolds. It has romance, hot sexy scenes and a lot of suspense. Any more description and I fear I will spoil the book.
This is a must read to all who love fairytales. Jane Henry once again delivers a fresh new look on an old tale. I cannot wait for her next book in this series.

A lovely Daddy Dom-ish Rapunzel retelling. Definitely not my normal read, but a “sweet treat”/ palette cleaner after a few dark, heavy books in a row.
The retelling was not obnoxious as I find some to be. This is a modern day , not overly complicated tale of a woman who had been stollen as a baby for collateral on her father’s debt, and subsequently trapped in a criminal’s home for 20 years. Although she has read about things, she’s never experienced anything.
She is rescued by a man who happens to happens to own a BDSM club. Rae, the damsel in distress, has never even been outside of the home, much less found herself over a knee. Will she stick out like a “sore thumb” and be retaken, or will she blend in?
I found this to be a delightful book, with mild BDSM, that made me laugh out loud quite a bit.
If that’s the kind of book your looking for, give it a go.

Loved the concept. Rae and Ryder were a hot concept. I loved how he stormed the balcony to save her and she cracked him with an iron at the first. Then, when they did the dungon scene and she broke the 2 rules he gave her. Another amazing story by Jane Henry... all I can complain about is I'm slowly ticking away at all her books and on work nights it's killing me having to stay up later to finish what I started... If you enjoy this kind of read, she is by far one of my favorites. They are very relatable and enjoyable characters that she brings to life. You fall head over your red high heels in love with everything she puts her name on... Steamy, sexy, kinky, hot!!! If you don't like that well go check your pulse... you might be dying.

By chance, Ryder finds a secluded farmhouse where he meets a young woman who has been held captive since infancy. Rae is far more intelligent than her lack of experience would indicate, and together she and Ryder secure her freedom so she can start living life on her own terms.
Rae’s relationship with Ryder was fun and flirty, while authentically addressing the very real threat to Rae’s life. The surprise twist was neatly done, and their HEA was sweet and satisfying. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

So this book was a bit of a drag. I have read the 2 books prior to this and found them more enjoyable than this one. And I was pretty reluctant to read this one but I told myself that for continuity's sake I would finish the series.
And of course, I was right to worry, I didn't really care for this one. I found that it kinda dragged along at some points and at others points I simply found myself skipping paragraphs and completely reluctant to pick the book back up. The sad thing is that the most engaging parts were the sex scenes.
So yeah, that's where I'm at, but no hate if you don't agree with me.

If you liked fairy tales as a child you will probably love this book. It's exactly as it states , an adult fairy tale. Insta love happens just like the original story, the long hair is there and the hero climbs up to where the heroine is contained in locked rooms and then the really good part starts. I found the book to be thoroughly enjoyable and worth my time. I must admit, I would read anything by this author, maybe even sci which I normally don't read, and she doesn't disappoint.

Dungeon Daddy is a great read. This modern, adult reimagining of the Rapunzel fairytale is hot, sexy, dangerous and suspenseful. Ryder and Rae share a scorching attraction and their chemistry really is so off the charts it sizzles. Book is packed with drama and intensity that grabs you from chapter one. This is the third book in the Billionaire Daddies Series. I love Jane Henry's writing. Rae and Ryder's story is great. They share an instant attraction, and a hot chemistry. Ryder is a dominant. He is also the owner of a BDSM club. He is handsome, protective and possessive. The story is fast-paced. I love the ending. Matthew Keyes did a great job with the narration. He has a great voice! I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. #AudiobookObsession

Kinky rendition of Rapunzel Fairy tale...3.5 stars!
Grabbed my attention from the start. Though parts were over-the-top unbelievable, the story is irresistible and moved at a fast pace. Thoroughly entertaining, kinky, sexy and suspenseful. Dungeon Daddy is my first ready by Jane Henry and I look forward to more of her work.

Oh my my...This one was especially hot and sexy and steamy and delicious! Seriously, I couldn't predict how much I'd love this taboo treat. The whole series was great but this was definitely my favorite book by this author so far. I can't wait to see what else she has for me.

Disappointed
*Did not read the first 2 books. Honestly expected more from Jane Henry with this book. Loved the story but words/ phrases were trough in spots and didn’t look published well. A quick telling which is fun and exciting. Fun scenes were quick which I find both good and bad but not what I was expecting I guess.

Hear me out, I read this book in one sitting. It was exactly what I needed. A cute heartwarming smutty little time. At times, the dialogue was cringey and the “dangerous” aspect felt unneeded BUT overall it was exactly what I wanted in this moment. A very vague Rapunzel retelling with BDSM, sheltered heroine, and a sweet romance between two deserving people.

Great short story I love fairy tale and when they make them in to a story like this with a twist and makes it fun I hope people take a chance then read this short story it's a good short story if that's what the person wants to read a short story a cute Fairy Tail but with all the sex scenes
