Summer always hated the holidays. Something about the cold, the snow, and being in forced proximity with her family always made her contemplate moving to some remote foreign locale; one with no telephones or computers. It's all downhill from the moment she steps on the plane, culminating in the stomach-clenching realization that she grabbed the wrong suitcase at baggage-claim. After calling the number on the tag, she explains away the monumental mistake to the bag's owner, Hayden Hollins. With some difficulty, mostly due to Hayden's lobotomizingly perfect English accent, she arranges to exchange luggage with him.
However, things start to look up when Summer meets Hayden. The instant she lays eyes on him she realizes he's the man she spent the entire flight ogling. And after a few drinks, she suggests that since he doesn't have any holiday plans, he should pretend to be her boyfriend for the week. He agrees, and it all works out perfectly... until they realize they've managed to develop feelings for each other and Summer's sister Willow spoils everything by opening her big mouth.
