I really like the illustrations in this book. The froggy triplets are adorable. Ms. Turtle seems a stereotypical spinster babysitter, but I'm okay with that. The three stories are pretty good. I'm philosophically against circuses with animals, which the frogs want to join when they're older, but other than that I like this book.
I usually read three books at a time to Alena, but since this is an easy reader with three stories inside I just read this to her today. She liked it too.
This is a relativly short story. it's good for kids who are just begining to read on their own. It has good pictures for making predictions about and also goo vocabulary practice.
This is a charming beginning chapter book. Ms Turtle comes in and takes care of three little turtles as their parents go out. In each chapter she helps them over some thing they have issues with. My special needs adult son and I enjoyed reading this book together along with the illustrations.
