If you know, marijuana is a drug. If you know, every year, thousands of people in India end up serving jail time because they are caught in possession. Three months ago, 2 of my friends got caught. Ironically, we are all law students. That one incident brought forth an entire chain of sequences that resulted in things entirely new, for me. I am 21 years old. I am from Delhi, India. This is my story.
Born in 1996, Rishabh was a bit of a problem-child as a kid. He treated his natural talent and love for story-telling as a lottery ticket. For him, writing stories was always as much a passion as a destiny-ridden compulsion, the one thing he was truly good at and enjoyed doing, at the same time. A bright student, he studied at one of the best law schools of the country before deciding to devote himself fully to the art of writing stories. “The Best of Us” is the third book he has written, a story he describes as one about the real youth of India, living in the beginning of the 21st century, as much a social commentary as it is a fictitious tale.
