I first read it 8-10 years ago? Reread recently, only to get more of Summer and Van's relationship because the first book didn't give us much of it.

Henrietta's character is cool. But honestly lack proper planning. Later on, she became careless when she drove to Ethan's location with Summer, and let her come with them (out of lack of choices). Summer's character was a bit off here; she's still stubborn, yes, but why the hell is she jolly with Henrietta? Since when was she like that? I can't imagine Summer actually hugging someone out of relief (unless it's too bad) or even crossing elbows with them.

Sebastian, red flag forever. He had good parts, sure. He's still a whore who give mixed signals. TBH he doesn't deserve Henrietta.

Declan, you're interesting.

Ethan, why the hell did you have to die. Your ending was so disproportionate to what you've done. Although that's clearly a huge consequence that he should've expected, since he dealt with a dangerous organization (he probably didn't expect the Mafia to interfere), but Ethan would still face consequences for long-term if the Stones Org won because dangerous people are involved.

Henrietta, your life is so tragic. Her ending was honestly the realest thing she could've done. Soul-search and moving-on malala.

Henrietta Arturia is MY FAVORITE CHARACTER sa Montello High. I am intruiged by her. And happy ako she got her own book, it’s just that, this is what I didn’t expect. The title Snow White is a Gangster ay parang walang relate sa story, this book really has a lot of potential, this couldve been about Henrietta growing up, and answering questions like pano sya naging reaper? Sino nag train sa kanya? Does she have normal friends? How did she discover sports basketball kase i remember sya kalaro ni Summer sa book one. Alam ba ng parents nya na reaper sya? How did her parents found out?

So why is it called that “Snow White is a Gangster” kase maputi sya? Is that it? Where is the poisoined apple? This could’ve been a re—imagining or retelling of Snow white and putting this as a dark fairytale.

Pero di e. Ang story umikot sa walang kwentang Novou na yan. Intense nangyayare pero parang di ako na hooked. Hindi maganda.
Iniskip ko nalang yung mga ibang words kase parang wala lang. Masyadong nilagay yung fight scene parang nawalan na ng heart yung story. I literally dragged myself to finish this.


But regardless, still love Forest, her fascination with church plus her characteristic and the way Henrietta sees Forest into her eyes and describe her is enchanting. I also love Wycliffe. They are the best thing that happened on this book. And I really love it how author was able to really shift POV kase in Henrietta’s eyes, Summer is kinda childish here and I kinda see it. Nakaka amaze writing style ng author.

I love the prologue and epilogue, this is the reason why I am giving this two stars.

I've been a fan of Sielasltreim (Ate Shiela May Familaran) since my highschool days. I love the way she writes. I reread a signed copy of this book in just two days, after waking up yesterday, continuing before I sleep yesterday and finishing after waking up today. It's that good. Although it's a sequel to Montello High: School of Gangsters, it can stand alone as a powerful story. Although you'll be curious on some things and references from book one, I think it's a great stand alone story on its own. I remember this author and this book became a huge part of my highschool days, the community behind the author and the book is just awesome. We experienced a virtual highschool type of community and I even became a class representative on that fiction highschool in Facebook groups. Those were among the treasured times of my life. Learned a lot about leadership and communities. It only made possible with awesome writing and story. Thank you Ate Sielalstreim! Please continue writing and if it's possible, I hope your stories reach beyond the Philippines. It deserves recognition.

I started this years ago when it was still ongoing on wattpad. I did not finish it because it wasn't completed yet. Now that it's published, I finally got the time to continue and finish this story. It was good! The ending is not what I was expecting but I like it a lot.

So many twists that I did not see coming. I teared up a lot lol. This is a great story! I also miss the characters from Montello High so it was nice reading about them again.
