I love the illustrations nd the story, and it is a great introduction to someone who does not know the story. It has been simplified and the adult references removed, which makes it suitable for very yoing children

Tämä versio Lumikuningattaresta soveltuu paremmin pienten kuulijoiden korville. Kirjan kuvitus on myös pehmeämpää ja näin ollen pehmentää hieman kirjan tuomaa jännitystä. Esikoinen ja kuopus pitivät molemmat kuvituksesta ja jaksoivat kuunnella tarinan yhdellä istumalla.

Hyvin nuorille lukijoille tehty yksinkertaistettu ja pehmennetty versio Lumikuningattaresta. Kuvitus jättää toivomisen varaan, kun kaikki hahmot ovat ystävällisesti hymyileviä, olivat sitten demoneita tai muuten pahan puolella.

The Snow Queen has always been one of my favourite literary fairy tales, and this version is perfect for younger readers although it does simplify some parts of the story. Charming illustrations!
