Fast and Effective Assessment: How to reduce your workload and improve student learning was overall a great beginners book. Glen Pearsall does a great job going back to the basics and providing a new perspective. He gives many new and old strategies for common problems in any classroom. I am excited to use this in my classroom and look back on it when I come up with a challenge. The information was very thorough, but could perhaps need a better set up to display it for better understand.I would recommend to a friend

This is the best “teacher” book I have read in a long while! It is like a real teacher wrote it with real teacher issues. Lots of examples and ideas that will take many directions in the classroom. I have already re-read parts and played through how to implement things.

A fantastic book about several different summative and formative assessments you can do to monitor student's progress. There are heaps of ideas in this book. Useful for any teacher.
