If you’ve read the James Thomas series and Deacon’s first book in this two part series, you’ll know just how heartbreaking yet special this book is.
Deacon Thomas has been a shell of a man, living only for his work and his brother (in name only) James. They’ve had each other’s back in hostile conditions for most of their relationship. But how does James protect Deacon from his most crippling enemy, the ghosts of his past?

Redemption, what a fantastic follow up novel to Brooke Sivendra's Deacon Thomas The Ranger. Brooke's novels are always twisting and turning in ways you sit there and think , now where did she come up with that idea. The Redemption is no different. It has all the feels and will hit you in the heart, and will have you gasping out loud at the storyline that is written so brilliantly. The balance between the soft loving side of the book and then the more drastic action flows very well and it was beautiful to read. thankyou so much Brooke for another great ride and adventure and showing us Deacon's heart

The Redemption...what an insight to Deacon, in search for forgiveness and peace. I personally think this is one of the most inspiring story of all the JT books. Not only has Brooke Sivendra outdone herself in this story but has grown as an author....thinking that this is probably my favourite JT book. Another highly recommended book by Brooke

Do no want to give anything away but wow !!! Brooke writes another page turner I was given this book to write a review, and yes the book is full of thrills,action,romance just what you would expect from this amazing author, loved this book and the series is brilliant, a must read series.....

Could a series get more bone chilling. Redemption is harrowing. Deacon is chasing leads for Nicole’s remains and it certainly has put them in danger. Can this really all be happening or is this just a means to an end?
Can the video Deacon, James, and Marianne just received really be true?
Brooke Sivendra has taken this to a whole new level and the end result just might be the undoing of The Thomas Brothers!!!

Loved This Series!
I got the first book, because it was free and I’m cheap. I wasn’t too crazy about the constant cliffhangers and thought it was a little excessive how many books I had to buy just to finish James’ story. But, I did end up purchasing the rest of them, one by one, as I did with Deacon’s story. But, I am now a fan and am looking forward to reading (and purchasing if I have too) more of Brooks books. Goodnight and happy holidays!

The Redemption: A Deacon Thomas Novel (The Deacon Thomas Duet Book 2) by Brooke Sivendra is one emotional story and a beautiful ending to the Deacon Thomas duet. It is brilliantly written and is sad and loving, touching and enthralling, thrilling but most of all it is healing for this beautiful character. There were tantrums and tears as my heart broke for this man but there is also laughter at the pint sized devil who speaks her mind. The way Brooke is able to spin more than one story within her writing is crazy but she does it with so much ease it is mind boggling. Brooke is able to transport you in to the story with her vivid descriptions and her telling ways.
Deacon Thomas has lived with a past that he has not dealt with and it has nearly destroyed him. But to open up and analyse things will actually break him and he can’t let himself go there. Unfortunately he has no choice and opening himself up, then maybe just maybe he can see what is in front of him.
Brooke spins a tale of intrigue and suspense like no other and the way she writes her characters make them real people, complex, strong and intense with a dose of sexy.
Deacon Thomas has lived with a past that he has not dealt with and it has nearly destroyed him. But to open up and analyse things will actually break him and he can’t let himself go there. Unfortunately he has no choice and opening himself up, then maybe just maybe he can see what is in front of him.

Redemption... perfect title
Deacon Thomas... wow! Just wow! This book filled in gaps, gave insights to his brokenness. You are pulling for him throughout the whole book. I loved the ending. I was really expecting him to begin a more definite relationship with Marianne sooner, but the way it played out was so much better. And Marianne... I could just feel for her with all her unexpected discoveries (I’m trying not to give too much away). Just read these books. If you like a little romance, a little taking care of business, a closeness between brothers... this book and her other books will definitely quench your appetite. I’m actually sad when I read the last chapter. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Have given this book 5 star rating only because could not award more, it is worth much more. Had to physically hold myself back from reading in one sitting, wishing to prolong the agony of finishing this book, but at the same time, needing to read and know all. Every book Brooke writes is better than the previous one, this one had it all. Love the characters, they are so very real, and a part of my life, feel like my family. Feeling bereft on finishing this book - now the agony of waiting for more from Brooke. Wow Brooke, congratulations, so very well done - you have me for life now!

Excellent end to the Thomas brothers saga
I very much enjoyed the James Thomas, Deacon Thomas, and the Soul series!! The characters were great, with hard edges but plenty of humanism and depth to keep your interest. I love to get lost in the intriguing plots, and escape to a world where money is no object and the drama just keeps coming! There is some strong language and intense sex scenes, but if you can look over that you won't be disappointed.

Life, love and intrigue.
Because I wascoffered the first book, Escata, I took it and quickly bought the next book as I went along. The suspense was amazing and the characters came to life. My husband asked what I thought and it was like a conclusion to me. Don't know what Brooke will come up with next but looking forward to it.

The Thomas Boys are worth the read.

Full of heart in the mouth moments. A good mixture of feel good moments often followed by suspense and murder. You never knew what the next page would bring. On several occasions the tension was too great to want to continue reading. This is yet another good book Brooke... where will you go from here?

The Redemption...
The end to the Deacon Thomas duet. Brilliantly written. The twists and turns that will have you jumping out of your seat. Deacon next to James is my everything. I laughed, cried, and screamed through the whole book. Action packed, dramatic, and spine tingling swoon worthy. Brooke Sivendra you are an author supreme.

I waited along time for this read and savoured every moment of it. It was good to get to know Deacon a bit better , to see his motivation to find and retrieve Nicole’s body and find closure so that he could more on. Loved the twists and turns. Well done BROOKE.

I'm still in shock. I still have a book hangover and I finished this book last week! And it's taken me this long to even try and figure out what I could possibly say about this book to even hold a candle to the words it deserves for a review. So....here's my best shot...
AGAIN. This is the first word that comes to mind when I read this book. As in AGAIN this author brings everything to the table that you never expected, you never anticipated, could have never imagined, and blows your mind with a twisted masterpiece of a storyline. (I still think she was CIA, FBI, SOMETHING, in her previous life.) Another read by this author that leaves you on the edge of your seat, leaves your heart racing, leaves you realizing you haven't taken a breath in about four chapters....yeah....it's that intense. And I expect nothing less from this author and she brings it every single time with every single line. This conclusion is perfect in every single way to Deacon's story. I cried so many tears.....you get to know Deacon so well through the James Thomas Series and then with The Ranger that it's impossible not to feel his emotions bleeding from the pages of this book into your heart. His hurt is yours and with this beautiful conclusion his healing is yours as well. It takes a special kind of author to really pull you into the story and she nails it. Every time. I'm still so in love with the fact that Marianne and him will learn to love again with each other. I was so excited at the start of book one and I stayed excited through this entire book....rooting as hard for them as I have for any other couple. But I take a step back to talk about those epic twists and turns....no one does it like this author. I seriously want to live in her brain for just a day because I can't even imagine how it works to be able to create such an amazing, baffling, intricate, and jaw dropping story line. I have been blown away by this author from the first book of hers and I continue to feel the same way with each book I continue to read. I can't wait for more from the Thomas Brothers....and of course Cami too!! (And can I just say I was super excited and probably overly geeked out that Samuel was given a bit of a description in this book....like...I fan girled. Hard.)
This author is hands down my favorite in the genre of suspense books. You must read all of her books and absolutely read the James Thomas Series ASAP. You can thank me later.

I am a HUGE fan of Brooke Sivendra and was eagerly awaiting the release of this book!
I was not disappointed.
This book had all the action and excitement of the James Thomas series. However, the author managed to capture and convey the soft side of Deacon, a dangerous, secretive and deadly operative. I loved the references to James and Mac as well as the other stars at the firm.
The characters are real, believable and the author (Brooke Sivendra) keeps the plot twists and turns coming at a fast pace. There is a bit of everything in this book.... romance, thriller, suspense, espionage action, organized crime... You name it, and it is probably there somewhere. The humour had me smiling while the drama had me on edge, but the love and bonds between Deacon and XXX (spoiler) felt so real! The imagination and the depth captured within the writing is phenomenal. I highly recommend this author and all her series!

By far the best of Brooke's novels so far.
Deacon has to forgive himself for his part in his fiancée's death and allow himself to love again. Can he do it and learn to live again.
This story of Deacons life and James's involvement in it and their bond to each other makes the reader want to hug them both. Such sacrifice and loyalty to everyone they perceive as family whether blood or not.
These brothers fight for each other, but not afraid to get their hands dirty and remove any obstacles in the process, don't get in their way. They will protect those they love at all costs.
Heart tugger and plenty of action and adventure, you won't want to put it down. I have read it more than once already. Keep writing Brooke. Your novels are addictive.

Brooke never fails to deliver. This the second and unfortunately last in Deacons story it is everything she promised and more.
So much excited and suspense, I was so worried some thing would go wrong to stop Deacon finding happiness again, this time with Marianna. I am very happy to say that he has at last what seems like a wonderful future to work towards as he and Marianna both have a past that will take time to come to turns with. Together nothing's seems impossible.

So much excited and suspense, I was so worried some thing would go wrong to stop Deacon finding happiness again, this time with Marianna. He had suffered so deeply with the death of his first love Nicole, that you think maybe he will not be able to get past that grief. I have loved each and every book in this series! And I always think there is no way the next book can be any better than the one I just finished. Then I read the next book and I'm blown away. The Redemption was impossible to put down. If you haven't read anything by Brooke Sivendra you are truly missing out.

Another stellar read by Brooke. Definitely a great way to spend a rainy weekend. This book broke my heart but at the same time left me yearning for more!
