This is an excellent book, well worth the five stars I'm rewarding it. The "moving photos" really made these ancient and mystical creatures seem even more amazing, and the girls in particular loved this aspect of the book, especially helpful for children who can't yet read but also the text within the book made this book a hive of information for me too. There is just so much to read and learn about, this subject is fast becoming something that is becoming a wealth of information for me as well as the kids!

For children, and adults who love dinosaurs, this book takes them on a magical journey. Using Photicular technology these ancient creatures can be viewed in 3 D motion, opening their mouths, walking, running and fighting. Younger readers will need help with the informational text and summaries, but will be entertained by the moving images.

This dinosaur book is cool for kids of all ages and parents. Younger kids love the moving pictures even when they can't read and they can learn so much about the dinosaurs featured as they learn to read or parents read with them.
