My emotions have become understated tragedies. Their presence sometimes makes me feel like only the insane mind could harbor such entities. I then decided that I refuse to believe that. Whether it is God that you believe in or a common ancestor, we can all agree on the fact that we, seven and a half billion of us, are descendants of the same genesis. Therefore, we can afford to entertain the idea that our thoughts are not limited to us, that we are not alone in the things that we feel. The poems in this book are declarations of deep vulnerabilities, of silent victories, and most importantly, of the pursuit of making sense of the enigma that is our existence. To my readers, I hope my words help you feel less alone in the conundrum of life.
