Silver Lining Journal is a self-explanatory journal which is designed to help you find yourself through a series of prompts to bring a positive change in your life.
How well do you know yourself? What do you want from your life?
This journal will help you answer the arduous questions about life. Every chapter in the journal contains a principle which can leverage readers to attain a prosperous and mindful life. It includes a planner and chart where you can write about your goals and plan your future because people don’t plan to fail but fail to plan.
This was really a short book, that doesn't give anything more than what you find in productivity self help books and blogs. The best aspect of this book is that it stresses on the habit of journaling, which is a practice that can really transform you. But if you ask me whether his is a life changing book, then NO.
A concept complied in a manner that is readable, understandable, and actionable. One thing I like about this book is its simplicity. The words are appropriately used and even a small kid can understand. Though it is written in a anecdotal manner, it gives perspectives to develop self awareness. One suggestion would be to back the opinions with empirical studies to create an impact on readers. Journaling could have been elaborated more. Overall, a good read.
